Abstract

This study aims to determine immigration control in dealing with refugees from abroad in Indonesia in the implementation of presidential regulation no 125 of 2016 where migration monitoring is necessary due to the increasing number of people who come to Indonesia as asylum seekers and refugees. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method where this method is one type of research method that seeks to describe and interpret objects as they are. The results of this study find that better monitoring is needed because foreign refugees are in a country where their rights must be protected. They represent the dilemma of the immigrant threat, especially when they bring different cultures and traditions into the local community. Supervision of Indonesian refugees held in immigration detention centers is well implemented on the spot. Monitoring programs in shelters, out of shelters, sent to destination countries, voluntary returns and deportations do not address issues related to the presence and activities of refugees while in Indonesia. Keywords: Presidential Regulation, Refugees,Supervision

Abstract

This article aims to describe PT Pertamina Patra Niaga IT Balongan's CSR empowerment program based on integrated sustainable waste management in the Langgen Block, Singaraja Village, Indramayu. The initial initiation came from a resident's anxiety about the slum and dirty surrounding environment as a trigger for tidal flooding and digestive diseases. Since 2019, this waste management has been carried out based on solidarity from the collective consciousness and self-subsistent of the surrounding community, assisted by the village government through village funds. Then starting in 2021, this activity and its managers will become foster partners of PT Pertamina Patra Niaga IT Balongan CSR in the Serial Waste Bank CSR program. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with observations and interviews with residents and managers of the Berseri Waste Bank including literature studies. The results of this study indicate that the Berseri Waste Bank CSR Program is an alternative CSR program that represents an integrated sustainable waste management pattern that has a broad impact on the environment, social, economy and welfare with the concept of Integrated Sustainable Waste Management (ISWM).Keywords: CSR, Integrated Sustainable Waste, Management Waste Management, Solidarity, Waste Bank.

Abstract

This study focuses on the establishment of the Indonesian Student Party (PMI) on January 21, 2022. Most of the alleged political analysts believe that this is part of a movement that aims to break solidarity to fight for student protests demands nationally. However, this article wants to explore a much bigger motive than that. PMI is not an ordinary political party. PMI's collaboration design with the strong current of identity politics behind the metamorphosis of the 1945 Indonesian Christian Party (Parkindo) which greatly determined its existence, is of course very important not to be seen except as a democratic anomaly in the midst of the divisions that flared up, especially during the leadership of President Joko Widodo. Keywords: Student Party, Student Movement, Identity Politics, Oligarchy, World-System Perspective.

Abstract

The phenomenon of wives working today is considered to cause changes and shifts in roles in a family. The position that generally places a husband as the head of the family and the main breadwinner, seems to have slowly changed. Its not as different as happened in some families in Kedungbunder Village Blitar Regency, where only the figure of the wife works to provide for the family. This kind of condition puts a wife having a more dominant role in the family. This study was conducted with the aim of examining social stratification among families whose livelihoods are borne by the wife. The method used is a qualitative research approach (field research), where data is collected through an in-depth interview process and parsipatory observation. The results showed that, some families in Kedungbunder Blitar Village where only the wife is working show the rule of law that states that the husband is the head of the family and the wife as a housewife, are considered not always applicable in the existing social reality. In the family, the wife's position is in a high social class because it is the economic source of the family and has more dominant power than other family members. Keywords: Social Stratification, Family, The Wife Works
