Palmyra Fiber as Additional Materials on Solid Concrete Brick of Aggregate
ISSN : 20399340     EISSN : 20392117     DOI : 10.36941/mjss
The use of waste as an additional material on the building work was increasingly actively developed, such as straw, styrofoam, bagasse, cow manure. The key drivers of the use of waste is the potential for waste is increasing, due to the depletion of non-renewable resources. Papyrus rod diameter 60 cm, length 30 meters, has a volume of 5,652m3 as well as the edges of the Rods that can be used for construction with a thickness of 3 cm has a volume 0,942m3, Pith and fiber volume content of the stem 4,71m3/rod, then in one rod, there are 2 to 3 bunches each fruit bunches yield as much as 20 to 30 items for one harvest, by weight of fruit fiber 101.2 gram / fruit, Fiber characteristics are round and smooth is expected to reduce cracks in solid concrete brick and also can reduce the use of sand. This study aims to determine the compressive strength of the composition of the additional material of Rods fiber content and Fiber of palmyra fruit with a percentage 3%, 6% and 9%, mixing ratio; 1 cement and 5 sand in the manufacture of solid concrete brick. Rods fiber content used the average Ø1,031mm with a tensile strength of single fiber 39,305N / cm and fruit fiber to an average value Ø0,40mm with a tensile strength of single fiber 33,691N / cm. Making test specimen with a length of 20cm, width 10cm and thick 8cm. The test results of compressive strength after 14 days with the lowest value at 3% of additional material combination of fiber content of 6% fiber stem and fruit by 70,384Kg/cm²with a water content of 15,254% In weight position 2,935Kg as well as the highest value on the combination of additional material 0% rods fiber content and 3% fruit fiber by 98,821Kg/cm² with a water content of 15,031% In weight position 3,058Kg. While N (without additional material) with a compressive strength below the average id 63,704Kg/cm2 with water content of 10,167 in weight position 3,072Kg. Research result of solid concrete brick with additional material of rods fiber content and palmyra fruit fiber was included on the type B70, the average value of the compressive strength of 78.57 Kg / cm² (SNI-03-1348-1989) with a water content of <25%.

Abstract

Assumption of effective decision-making process for tourists on a trip is based on quality information. In order to gain insight ofthe source of information about tourists' decisions related to travel and to the European tourist market, a secondary research wasconducted. Subjects-tourists, who participated in the survey, were asked to indicate which sources of information they use when makingdecisions about travel plans, by valuing different sources of information as very important to less important ones. Survey results indicatehighly prevailing sources of information such as "recommendations of friends and colleagues," and the Internet as a new technologicalsolution tourists use when making decisions about their travel resort. The most important sources of information, according to thedemographic characteristics of respondents in all 27 EU Member States, were also analyzed. In this paper, preliminary results arebrought in connection with the timeframe and poor economic condition determining the behavior of consumers and their capabilitiesrelated to travel, and hence the frequency of travel, tourism trends and alternative travel destinations which are a result of mostacceptable solutions to these conditions. Classical sources of information, such as travel agencies with the exception of "therecommendations of friends and colleagues", have new challenges and additional responsibilities on how to effectively implement statedtechnological solutions into new business processes.

Abstract

Political changes after 1990 necessitated the reorganization and functioning of local government in Albania. As it is known, twolevels of local government function in our country; the first level includes the communes and municipalities, while the second levelincludes the prefectures and counties. At the time being 12 counties and 12 prefectures, 36 districts, 65 municipalities, 309 communesand 3020 villages function in Albania. The functioning of local government is based on: Constitution of the Republic of Albania, Albanianlegislation since 1990 , especially the law no. 8652 which dates back to July 31, 2000 "On organization and functioning of localgovernment", as well as European charter on local autonomy. Legislation for local autonomy and decentralization of government wasdrafted on the basis of Article 13 of the Constitution of Albania. Article 7 guarantees the principle of unity and balance of the localgovernment. The development of administrative reforms in Albania has been influenced by these factors: - administrative tradition of theAlbanian State 1912 - 2011; - world experience ; - economic and cultural administration level; - interests of political class and Albanianstate; - attitude of the people and the local administration. - physical and geographic conditions of the country. Reorganization andadministrative division are conditioned by of the demomographic movement of rural and urban population. Although Albaniangovernment and parliament have repeatedly focused on the topic of organization and functioning of local government, administrativereform in Albania is far from being considered complete.

Abstract

“If you have got it, keep it”, is the focus of all Employers in terms of its talented workforce. One of the most important strengthsof an organization lies in the quality of the workforce it has and how well it’s being managed. Apart from making a right decision inchoosing the right person for the right job, the continuing presence of these capable persons in the Organization is as much necessary.Acquiring the right talent can be a tough job and retaining them can at times be tougher. It’s for this purpose that the concept of Talentmanagement has been gaining importance over the years. How the HR function has evolved over the years, what is the process of talentmanagement, what are the challenges facing talent management and how various strategies can be put into use to overcome thesechallenges have been analyzed here. “People” being considered the most important resource to an organization is one of the mostimportant factors which helps the organization have a sustainable competitive advantage over its competitors, hence the study of Talentmanagement as a process is imperative. Abstract

This research paper gives an overview of Albania`s opening of its trade towards the European market and provides somerecommendations so that the Albanian economy can at its best benefit from the European integration by strengthening its economy andmaking use of the potential that it has. Albania is currently pursuing a path of greater Euro-Atlantic integration, with primary long termgoal to gain EU membership and to promote closer bilateral ties with its neighbors. Its economy has improved substantially over therecent years and has outperformed many other countries in the region. However, the liberalization of the Albanian economy so far, though overall positive, has not enabled Albania to gain a competitive advantage. Because of the tremendous impact the integrationprocesses have in themselves in liberalizing trades, this research paper puts forward arguments that Albania, should, as first makestructural reforms to boost competition and improve the business climate. In addition, Albania should benefit every opportunity towards awider trade volume, such as a common Albania – Kosova trade by developing single fiscal policies, financial infrastructure, labor trade, custom regulations and common institutional development, leaving open doors to Macedonia integration too. In this respect, heavyinvestments in the country’s main road corridors have contributed to improved transportation conditions. Yet, similar large-scaleinfrastructure investments are needed to further improve Albania’s road transportation corridors and railway system as well as expandthe capacity of its sea ports and airports. Lastly (the milestone), given its biggest wealth, the geographical position, this paper suggestsAlbania make attempts to raise those branches of industry which would naturally fit into the European trade. In this respect, it can atbest, act as a transit point of biggest energetic networks and other continental networks, which will open doors to further development ofservice business sector in Albania.

Abstract

Tourist arrivals, in Italy, are concentrated in areas where cultural and natural heritage is associated to the organization ofterritories, equipped areas and services. In particular these issues are important for foreigners tourists who need a lot of services tospend a good period. In this work we aims to analyze the characteristics of Italian provinces and the capacity of attractiveness of theseterritories; on this way, to analyze the touristic flow in Italian provinces, first of all we have individuated the ten best performances ofitalian provinces with respect to domestic and international tourist arrivals and permanence during the year 2008. We intend to deepenthe relationships of the most important component in these four groups with the best performances of attraction (best performance ofdomestic tourism in terms of arrivals and permanence; best performance of foreigners tourists in terms of arrivals and permanence).Through four principal component analysis we have analyzed the key variables for each group: infrastructure, transports, hotels, otherstructures able to receive the tourists, restaurants, cultural and naturalistic heritage (museums, UNESCO sites, parks), organization ofevents, entertainments (sport, disco etc). With this methodology emerges that in some cases, the organization of territories, thepresence of adequate structure and infrastructure is more important than the presence of significant cultural and natural sites. Thesources of data are the National Institute for Statistics (ISTAT), United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization(UNESCO), Trail and Ministry of Infrastructure and Transportation and Italian Authors and Publishers Association (SIAE).
