Abstract

Time attendance is a crucial aspect of human resource management that is often faced with accuracy and efficiency challenges. This research identifies the main problems in traditional attendance systems that often suffer from data inaccuracies and time-consuming manual processes. To overcome these problems, this research aims to design and develop a website-based attendance information system that utilizes location points (geolocation) as the basis for attendance validation. The software development method used is the Waterfall method, which consists of the stages of requirements analysis, system design, development, testing, and implementation. The Waterfall method was chosen because it provides a clear structure and systematic sequence of steps, facilitates the creation of a well-structured system and is easy to implement. This research applies web technology to build a system that enables attendance monitoring based on the user's geographical location. The results show that the system successfully integrates geolocation features with the attendance database effectively, improving the accuracy of attendance data and reducing the time and effort required for the attendance process. The system also offers a user-friendly interface, allowing users to perform attendance easily through mobile devices. The results of the Usability value calculation get a total score of 1,721 with a percentage result of 86% then converted into a qualitative scale. The result of the value conversion is “Very Good” and has met Usability standards. This finding is expected to increase efficiency and accuracy in attendance management in various organizations.

Abstract

Ovarian cysts are a disease that only affects women and attacks the ovaries. Many people don't know about this disease, including its causes, symptoms and how to prevent it. In the world of health, there are still several problems in diagnosing diseases, especially ovarian cysts. Some lay people have no knowledge about this disease and often experience difficulties due to limited doctor schedules or the availability of specialist doctors in hospitals. Many patients want to consult or find out whether there are ovarian cysts in their pregnancy. The aim of this research is to build a knowledge-based system in the medical field that uses a combination of Forward Chaining and Certainty Factor methods to diagnose ovarian cysts. The Forward Chaining method is used to find conclusions based on cause and effect using the IF-THEN rule, while the Certainty Factor is used to provide a weight value (Expert CF) that has been determined by the expert in order to get maximum results. The result of this research is an expert system application that combines the Forward Chaining and Certainty Factor methods in diagnosing ovarian cysts. This application is intended for the public by carrying out an initial diagnosis based on the symptoms that have been input, using rules from the Forward Chaining method and calculating certainty values ??using the Certainty Factor method. With this application, it is hoped that it can help people find out about the disease they are suffering from and provide the information needed to take further action.

Abstract

Customer satisfaction is one of the key factors that greatly influences loyalty and business sustainability of an e-commerce application. This research focuses on analyzing the level of customer satisfaction with e-commerce services using the C4.5 algorithm. This research aims to identify key factors that influence customer satisfaction and provide recommendations that can help e-commerce companies improve the quality of their services. Customer satisfaction data is collected through surveys that cover various attributes such as product quality, delivery speed and customer service responsiveness. The analysis results show that the product delivery attribute is the factor that most influences customer satisfaction, with a gain value of 0.337981562. The resulting model has an accuracy of 93%, showing good ability in predicting customer satisfaction. These findings are expected to provide practical insights for e-commerce companies in their efforts to increase customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Abstract

Hypertension is a disease that has a high mortality rate every year and can attack individuals of all ages. Hypertension is also one of the entry points or risk factors for diseases such as heart disease, kidney failure, diabetes mellitus and stroke. The aim of this research is to be able to help the community when there are limited tools and experts which cause the community to have difficulty in diagnosing hypertension, on the other hand there are also people who have limited time or money to diagnose hypertension at health facilities such as Community Health Centers, Homes. Hospitals, Clinics and other health facilities. The system development method used in this research is the waterfall method, the waterfall method is a system development method that provides systematic and sequential approaches to software development such as requirements specifications, software design implementation, testing and so on, as for the stages in The waterfall system development method starts from analysis, design, coding and testing. The expert system used in this research uses a certainty factor in diagnosing the percentage of hypertension. The certainty factor method is a method for proving the uncertainty of an expert's thinking, where to accommodate this one usually uses a certainty factor to describe the expert's level of confidence in The problem being faced. The results of this research have a contribution, namely that the application of this expert system can quickly and precisely diagnose whether someone is suffering from hypertension or not based on the data set that has been compiled.

Abstract

In an era where the variety of eyewear designs and the development of various fashion trends, often makes it difficult for consumers to choose the best eyewear design to use so that a system is needed for this. Decision support systems are an effective solution in helping make this decision. This research uses the Simple Additive Weighting method to help in choosing eyewear designs based on several criteria such as design, material, price, lens type and brand. The Simple Additive Weighting method allows the calculation of the score of each selected criterion, assigns the appropriate weights, and produces eyewear recommendations that best suit customer preferences and needs. The use of Decision Support Systems is expected to not only simplify the process of selecting glasses, but also increase user satisfaction with the selected product that matches their expectations. This research aims to provide an understanding of the use of decision support systems applied to the optical industry to provide good service to customers. The comparison results of 30 data taken from 3 customers to test the system show a similarity of 86% in the tabel of test results of the method (SAW).So that the decision support system with the simple Addiptive Weighting method is the right system for selecting eyewear designs using the saw method based on the criteria set. Selection of glasses with the Supor brand FF151 series lens size 59mm bridge width 16mm stalk length 152mm with titanium material at a price of Rp.450,000 and the type of transition lens is the best choice in choosing the best eyewear design.

Abstract

In recent years, the development of VGA technology has advanced rapidly, with various brands and models offering diverse specifications and features. Modern VGA cards are not only used for basic needs such as displaying images but also for more complex tasks like 3D graphics rendering, video editing, and gaming. This advancement provides consumers with many choices but also creates confusion in determining the VGA that best fits their needs and budget. Making the right decision in choosing a VGA becomes a particular challenge, especially for users without in-depth knowledge of technical specifications and VGA performance. Incorrect choices can lead to suboptimal computer performance, inefficient power usage, and user dissatisfaction. To address this issue, researchers have developed a web-based decision support system that recommends the best VGA selection using the Weighted Product method. This system performs calculations on 30 VGA data points based on 5 established criteria: price, memory capacity (VRAM), graphic resolution, power consumption, and number of supported monitors. The calculations reveal that the AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX achieved the highest recommendation score at RSC Computer Store in Klaten, with a score of 0.058507812, followed by the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 with a score of 0.058243034, and the AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT with a score of 0.055677317. This system demonstrates its effectiveness in providing accurate and beneficial recommendations for consumers in selecting a VGA according to their preferences and needs.

Abstract

Active customer engagement in transactions with the company significantly impacts profitability. Categorizing customer data into loyal and non-loyal segments is a common method to identify loyalty patterns. The results of this segmentation can guide companies in designing follow-up strategies, including tailored incentives based on customer loyalty levels. Implementing a web-based K-Means Clustering algorithm allows PT Bhara Utama's management to easily access customer segmentation results, speeding up data analysis and enhancing decision-making efficiency. The use of web technology also facilitates integration with existing information systems and provides more flexible access. An experiment conducted on 660 customer data resulted in three groups: 8 very loyal customers, 461 moderately loyal customers, and 191 non-loyal customers. Accuracy evaluation using the Davies-Bouldin Index (DBI) showed a value of 0.19, indicating high-quality clusters.

Abstract

The application of information systems can improve the scope of business capabilities by increasing the efficiency of each stage in a business activity. The purpose of this study is to create a desktop-based information system that focuses on laundry business management. Recording customer information, service transactions, financial management, and employee issues are some of the problems found. In addition to providing clear guidance for users, this system is designed to improve operational accuracy and efficiency in information management. This application will be developed using the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) method using the C# programming language and using the SQL Server database. To meet the specific needs of the laundry business, the main modules to be integrated will include sales, purchasing, inventory, and human resource management. Thorough testing will be carried out prior to implementation to ensure ideal system performance. It is expected that the implementation of this system will improve operational effectiveness, more structured financial management, and better monitoring of inventory and employee management. Overall, this study targets the provision of information technology solutions that can overcome the main problems in managing a laundry business efficiently and effectively. The results of the design and development of this information system are in the form of a process design in the form of DFD, input design and report output design that are adjusted to the conditions and needs of the laundry company.

Abstract

Cooperatives, as a business entity that is different from others, have their own challenges in dealing with free trade, both from the movement sector and internal problems of the cooperative itself. It is hoped that the existence of the Cooperative movement as an economic institution can act as a driving engine for national economic activity as well as a teacher shop for the Indonesian economy. Recording financial data in cooperatives is of course very important. As information technology develops, the use of computer applications as a medium for recording financial data has become quite relevant and useful. Manual financial recording media is very susceptible to problems such as recording errors or presenting reports that are less accurate and require more time. So we need an application that can make it easier to record finances in cooperatives. This research uses the software development method, namely Waterfall, starting from analysis, design, coding, testing and supporting stages. The results of this research are an accounting information system for processing savings and loan data at the Palomak Artha Mas Bekasi Cooperative based on a website that can be used for the company’s operational needs. The computerized system is expected to improve the quality of service in the cooperative.
