Abstract

Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is a disease caused by the dengue virus which is transmitted through the bite of the Aedes aegypti mosquito and the incidence depends on the geographical location and local climate. With the development of cases of DHF, it is necessary to have a special breakthrough to improve the quality of life of the community because it has a very significant impact on life safety and its impact on the socio-economic family. Educational activities are carried out using lecture, discussion and question and answer methods. Most of the people in the Tanjung Karang environment are still lacking in knowledge regarding the prevention of dengue fever, so many people have never handled mosquito larvae at home, even though this method is very effective in preventing the occurrence of dengue fever   Keywords: Attitude, Dungue Hemorrhagic Fever, Knowledge

Abstract

Klanceng bee cultivation is an opportunity for rural communities who have biological resources as an alternative economy. This Community Service was carried out in Tanggulangin Village, Punggur District, Central Lampung Regency. This activity takes place from January to March 2022. The aim is to help business development and marketing of klanceng honey. The main problems experienced by klanceng bee farmers are (1) it is difficult to market their harvested klang honey because the price is higher than other honey, (2) the klanceng honey bee farmer group has not yet been formed, (3) the absence of packaging registered with BPOM. The method used is the method of discussion, mentoring, and training. The results of the activity are in the form of planting bridal tear flower seeds, euphorbia flowers and mango tree seeds, creating an account at the e-commerce online store to reach a wider marketing of klanceng honey products. The packaging technique at the time of the training was still using ordinary plastic bottles which were less attractive and there were no brands registered with BPOM, so the PKM team assisted in making packaging brands and registering products with BPOM. With this PKM activity, it is hoped that the klanceng bee farmers will be able to manage their business so that they can become an alternative economic source and improve welfare.

Abstract

The focus in this article is the development of a hydroponic vegetable business. The hydroponic system is well known by the public, in addition to the relatively easy system and application of this system, the grower does not interact with the soil, the hydroponic system is also one of the implementations of the agricultural intensification system. Because the planting rack can be made with a multilevel system, so that with a small area, it can produce quite a lot of plants. The problem faced by hydroponic farmers is the marketing system. Often hydroponic farmers with home scales still have difficulty in marketing their products, the problems are more or less as follows; 1) The operational cost of hydroponic plants is relatively expensive, this affects the selling price. While the general public at the vegetable craftsman only knows conventional vegetables, where the operational costs are relatively cheap and are sold at low prices. So often hydroponic vegetable products cannot compete in price. 2) The market for hydroponic vegetables is in supermarkets, but hydroponic farmers on a home scale with small and relatively unstable production capacity find it difficult to enter supermarkets. These two things are the basis of this writing, which is expected to be a reference for hydroponic farmers in order to optimize existing market opportunities.

Abstract

A small industry has a close relationship with the existence of human resources as the driving force of the small industry itself. SME "Kayu Kreatif" is engaged in wood processing which so far has only been limited to door and window frame products. The rest of the wood that is not used is finally just wasted without being used. Aspects of problems with partners related to production aspects and aspects of logo and brand management. The problems and solutions that will be raised are: 1). Wood waste has not been utilized which then only becomes waste and causes further problems so that the solution that will be given is assistance in making cellphone holder craft products with wood waste materials and 2). Products that have been made need to be branded and patented so that in marketing they will have a strong product. The solution that will be given is to create a logo and brand to prepare the product to be marketed.

Abstract

The purpose of this community service is to provide education, training, and assistance in improving strategy and IT-based business performance for seafood MSME in the village of Labuan Banten. This training focuses on solving product problems that do not have Branding, and packaging, are not hygienic, do not have traditional sales and marketing strategies, and have low average sales. Solutions for the problem are training and assistance in Branding and packaging strategies, as well as the use of digital marketing, which are alternative solutions to problems in the short term to improve the performance of seafood MSME in Labuan village. It is hoped that after this activity is carried out, the MSME can have strong Branding, good packaging and a wide range of buyers and in the end can directly increase sales and indirectly help the regional economy and families.

Abstract

Technology has changed the teaching and learning process in the world of education. The most visible change is the use of learning media in schools. The presence of digital media provides a variety of educational innovations, where rigid and monotonous conventional learning will be replaced by learning using digital media which is considered more practical, flexible, and not limited by space and time. One of the learning media is a website. Based on the results of interviews with teachers at SMK Negeri 1 Windusari, they said the importance of online learning media, especially when online learning demands. Therefore, in this PKM, the authors carry out google sites training activities to improve the ability of teachers of SMK Negeri 1 Windusari to create learning media. After training on making teaching media using google sites will help teachers in making interesting learning materials and conveying them to students. So that this activity will provide good benefits to teachers, students, and SMK N 1 Windusari, Magelang Regency. Many teachers were previously reluctant to use making websites because of difficulties. However, after this training, the teachers at SMK Negeri 1 Windusari began to be enthusiastic about making learning media using google sites. Abstract

One of the important factors in a business is human resources. The quality of qualified human resources is able to make small industries successful. For the glorious economy of a small industry, it can be a better economy for a country. Therefore, small and medium enterprises need to be developed, one of which is in terms of human resources. Phenomena that occur in general in a small industry related to human resources include the lack of mastery of information technology. The use of the right technology has a relationship with the development of UMKM that have good competitiveness in the industrial era 4.0. This phenomenon is also experienced in one of the home industry in the South Tambun area which is used as a partner. From the results of the observations made, there are problems experienced by partners, including the distribution of limited production and marketing that is carried out conventionally by relying on word to mouth techniques. The stages of this service activity start from counseling, mentoring and mentoring. The briefing of the material presented was the process of managing the marketplace using Tokopedia and the process of designing logos and labels using Canva. From the evaluation of activities, it showed a percentage of pre-test values of 37% and post-test scores of 93. Then for evaluation related to the implementation of activities regarding enthusiasm and satisfaction of activities reached 92%.
