Abstract

This study aims to analyze Poverty Inequality and Inequality of Regency/ City Revenue Distribution in Yogyakarta Province D.I. Secondary data here uses data between places or spaces (cross-sections) taken from all districts/cities in Yogyakarta, while data for time series data is taken in 2009-2015 where this data is data collected in a certain time period. Data which is a combination of cross-section and time-series data used in this study is called panel data. The paper using literature review approach and metadata analysis. In this study, the results show that the human development index variable, GRDP, local original income, general allocation funds affect the Inequality of the District Revenue / City Distribution in Yogyakarta.

Abstract

This study aims to examine and explain the effect of halal food awareness on purchase decisions with religiosity as a moderating variable. The sample in this study is Muslim consumers in Indonesia and Thailand. Purposive sampling technique was applied by criteria of samples required is Muslim consumers in Indonesia and Thailand. The number of samples is 200 respondents, included 150 Indonesian respondents and 50 Thai respondents. The analysis is done using Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) with SPSS 23.0 software. The finding of this study shows that respondent has a high-level awareness of halal foods in Indonesia and Thailand. Halal food awareness has a positive and significant impact on purchase decisions for Muslims living in Indonesia. Halal food awareness has a positive and significant impact on purchase decisions for Muslims living in Thailand. Finally, the higher level of religiosity cannot strengthen the effect of awareness on a purchase decision.

Abstract

Economic growth is an essential factor to measure how prosperous the economy of a country is. Therefore, each country will always try to increase their economic growth and put it as its economic target. This research aimed to find out the factors that influence the economic growth in ASEAN member countries during 2007–2016. The analysis method used was Generalized Least Square (GLS) method and Fixed Effect Estimation model. The data used were the panel data of seven ASEAN countries. The result showed that Manufacturing Export, Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), Government Expenditure, and Population had a positive and significant effect on economic growth although the contribution of manufacturing export is just at a small magnitude.

Abstract

This research aims to examine how product knowledge, promotion, consumers’ awareness, purchase frequency, and income influence on Willingness to Pay (WTP) for halal labelled cosmetics on non-Muslim community in Yogyakarta. This research used primary data with total 100 respondents by purposive sampling method. In addition, the analysis tool in this research are descriptive statistics, Contingent Valuation Method (CVM) which being used to predict willingness to pay, and multiple regression model on SPSS 20 as data analysis program. The result of this research shows that consumers’ awareness, purchase frequency, and income are positively and significantly influencing Willingness to Pay (WTP). And also the WTP value obtained for facial wash is Rp43.750, facial powder is Rp74.420, body wash is Rp31.670, toothpaste is Rp20.610, shampoo is Rp21.230, and body mist is Rp78.310.

Abstract

The development of Islamic Philanthropy funds raises many questions about its use, especially the use directed at productive use. Zakat management authorities, including LAZISMU, began to develop the use of philanthropic funds in the socio-economic sector for the Empowerment Programme. Based on the level of operation of these funds for successful programs, the Yogyakarta Regional Leaders are classified as the most developed, mainly in the Sleman Regency area. There will be many findings in this study regarding Mustahik and Amil's views on the economic empowerment system implemented by LAZISMU Regional Leader of Muhammadiyah (Pimpinan Daerah Muhammadiyah) Sleman, beginning with Empowerment Indicators, Changes in Mustahik Economic Conditions and Utilization Effectiveness using statistical methods as instruments explain the results. In this study, most of these things show significant results based on the Mustahik's point of view.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of Human Development Index, population growth, and Gross Regional Domestic Product on poverty level in 27 districts/cities in West Java Province. The panel data obtain from Statistics Indonesia, consists of time series data is taken from 2015 to 2018, and cross-section data includes 27 districts/cities in West Java Province. The estimator of this research is using multiple linear regressions (Ordinary Least Squares) with fixed-effect model. The results show that Human Development Index, population growth and Gross Regional Domestic Product have negative and significant effect on the poverty level in West Java Province after regional expansion of Pangandran district.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the Influence of Service Quality, Price, Corporate Image, and Location towards Customer Satisfaction on Autocare Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta. This study uses a quantitative approach. The data used is primary data obtained by distributing questionnaires to the customers of Autocare UMY to 99 respondents. The method of sample collection uses a purposive sampling technique. The technique of data analysis that used in this study to process the data is multiple linear regression. The results of this study indicates that all independent variables namely Service Quality, Price, Corporate Image, and Location has a positive and significant influence on the dependent variable, namely Customer Satisfaction both simultaneously and partially.
