Abstract

An indicator for human quality of life is The Human Development Index (HDI). Factors to be included for measuring HDI are life expectancy, long-term school expectancy, average length of schooling. In this study, path analysis has been applied to determine the magnitude of the influence of these factors on the human development index. Results showed that the structural equation of the formed path diagram is: Y=0,341X1+0,289X2 +0,593X3+0,315. Each addition of life expectancy (X1) by 1 year will increase the human development index (Y) by 34.1% if other variables are constant, every addition of old school expectations (X2) by 1 year will increase the human development index (Y) by 28.9% if other variables are constant, each addition of the average length of schooling (X3) by 1 year will increase the human development index (Y) by 59.3% if other variables are constant. Life Expectancy (X_1), Old School Expectancy (X2) and Average Length of Schooling (X3) affect the Human Development Index (Y).

Abstract

The State Electricity Company (PLN) is a service company engaged in the electricity sector. Community satisfaction is the level of community feelings after comparing what is received with what is expected. This study aims to determine the effect of service quality, information quality, and interaction quality on community satisfaction in Fatuketi Village, Kakuluk Mesak District, Belu Regency. The number of samples in this study was 100 families using Persero’s PLN services. The data collection technique uses a likert scale questionnaire, which consists of three exogenous variables and one endogenous variable for a total of 11 indicators. The hypothesis in this study is that there is an influence of service quality, information quality, and interaction quality on the level of community satisfaction. The method used is the structural equation modeling (SEM) method. The results obtained show that there is a significant influence of service quality factors (CR = 2.361 ≥ 1.96), information quality (CR = 2.827 ≥ 1.96), and interaction quality (CR = 2.840 ≥ 1.96), on the level of community satisfaction.

Abstract

Suppose G graph, H subgraph of G, then graph G admits H-covering having an H-magic labeling if there exist a bijective function mapping V (G) ∪ E(G) to a set of natural number at most |V (G)| + |E(G)| such that for any subgraph H¯ of G isomorphic to H, the sum of vertex and edge label of H¯ is equal to a fix number k, where k is a magic number. Moreover, such a labeling called H-super magic if the range of vertex set of G is a set positive integer less than or equal to |V (G)|. Suppose that e is an edge of Wn. Graph Pm ⊵e Wn is a graph obtained by taking a copy of graph Pm, |E(Pm)| copies of Wn, then identifying i-th edge of Pm to an edge e at i-th copy of Wn. In this paper, we construct the Wn-supermagic labeling of Pm ⊵e Wn.

Abstract

Graph is an ordered pair of a vertex and edge set that related with various theories, one of them called labeling. There are a lot of types of graph labeling, one of them is odd harmonious labeling. The odd harmonious labeling is an injective function f : V (G) → {0, 1, 2, . . . , 2q − 1} such that induced a bijective function is f∗: E(G) → {1, 3, 5, · · · , 2q − 1} which is defined by f∗(uv) =f(u) + f(v). This study aims to construct an odd harmonious labeling on a graph Cm,n ⊵e C4. The results showed that a graph Cm,n ⊵e C4 is an odd harmonious graph.

Abstract

TikTok is an entertainment application that can be used to watch and share various short videos such as educational information, dance, fashion, and even promote a product, as well as shop online. If it is used continously, it may provide negative impact. TikTok users may become stressed if it does not meet the creator’s expectations such as getting the most likes or viewers from users. Furthermore, they also can addicted to online shopping and buy something that they do not need due to lost self-control and be unable to consider risks in making decisions resulting in stress or depression. This study aims to build a mathematical model of TikTok addiction Type SEI1I2R. The results of the study obtained two equilibrium points, namely the free equilibrium point for TikTok addiction T1 and be stable when R0 < 1 and the equilibrium point for addiction to TikTok T2 and be stable when R0 > 1. The simulation shows that when R0 <1, even though most of the population have TikTok application, they are not interested in content and shopping via TikTok. This causes the population that creates TikTok accounts decrease and hence the addiction to content and shopping on TikTok slowly decrease and then disappear in the population. Meanwhile, when R0 > 1, many people think that content and shopping on TikTok are very interesting so that the population that creates TikTok accounts is increasing so that there is an increase in the population creating content and shopping on TikTok. Therefore, TikTok addiction will remain in the population and will increase with time.

Abstract

One of the challenges for eradication of infectious diseases is corruption. This may result in an increase in the number of infectious disease cases. In this article, the effect of corruption on the transmission dynamics of malaria is analyzed using a mathematical model. A deterministic model in the form of a system of differential equations is formulated and analyzed. Sensitivity analysis and numerical simulations are also conducted to determine the effect of parameters on the basic reproductive number. The results show that corruption has negative effects on the efforts for reducing the number of malaria cases.
