Abstract

Anemia is a condition in which the number of red blood cells or the concentration of hemoglobin in it is lower than normal. Efforts to meet the iron needs of pregnant women in 2 ways, namely non-pharmacologically by giving blood-boosting tablets or multiple micronutrient supplements and pharmacologically by giving dragon fruit juice. To determine the effect of dragon fruit juice on increasing hemoglobin levels in pregnant women in the third trimester with anemia. The research method used is a literature review based on analysis and synthesis of previous studies with a total of five articles published in 2020-2025. Based on the five articles reviewed, giving dragon fruit juice as much as 200cc - 250cc per day for 14 days routinely to increase hemoglobin levels in pregnant women because dragon fruit juice contains quite high iron and vitamin . Abstract

Iron deficiency is the most common cause of anaemia in pregnant women during the third trimester. The risk of pregnant women experiencing anaemia is almost three times higher than in the first and second trimesters because the fetus collects its iron reserves in the first month after birth. to determine the effect of banana ambon fruit on increasing haemoglobin levels in third trimester pregnant women with anaemia. using the literature review method with secondary data from previous studies, the search was adjusted to the keywords and inclusion criteria and using the Google Schoolar database. Based on 7 articles reviewed, giving 2 ambon bananas every day in the morning and evening routinely as one of the non-pharmacological therapies to increase Hb levels in third trimester pregnant women because ambon bananas contain vitamin C and iron. Abstract

Infants with Low Birth Weight have a high risk of growth disturbances and complications. Infant massage is a non-pharmacological intervention proven to increase weight through stimulation of the nervous system, improved appetite, and enhanced nutrient absorption. This literature review aims to determine the effectiveness of infant massage in increasing weight among low birth weight infants. The method used was a literature review by searching for articles through the Google Scholar database from 2020 to 2025. A total of five articles met the inclusion criteria and were analyzed. The results showed that infant massage significantly increased the weight of low birth weight infants when performed routinely for 10–14 days. The techniques used varied; however, all studies reported a significant increase. In conclusion, infant massage is proven to be effective as a complementary therapy to increase weight in infants with low birth weight

Abstract

Stunting occurs when a child under five years of age has a height that is shorter than expected for their age, or falls below two standard deviations from the average growth of children. This condition is closely related to nutritional status, which reflects the balance between the body’s nutrient requirements and the nutrient intake obtained from food. One highly nutritious local food source is the moringa plant, particularly its edible leaves. In 100 grams of dried moringa leaves, there are 27.1 grams of protein and 28.2 grams of iron, indicating strong potential to support nutritional improvement in children. This review aims to determine the effect of processed moringa leaves on improving the nutritional status of stunted under-five children. The literature search was conducted through Google Scholar using a literature review method involving five articles. The findings show that processed moringa leaves are proven to improve the nutritional status of stunted children. Therefore, with this evidence, it is expected that practitioners can recommend complementary feeding for breastfeeding (CF) or additional foods made from moringa leaves as one strategy to address nutritional problems in stunted children.

Abstract

Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is the 6th highest metabolic disease in Indonesia caused by insulin resistance. The risk of complications from DM includes microvascular and macrovascular. Therefore, efforts to prevent complications are to implement regular diabetes self-management such as diet, exercise, glucose monitoring, therapy, education, and foot care. Self-efficacy is a factor that can influence self-care where the characteristics of individuals with DM may also influence self-efficacy such as age, gender, education, knowledge, and duration of DM. Objective: from this study to analyze the relationship between the characteristics of people with type II DM and self-efficac. Cross-sectional approach keywords DM Type 2, demographics, and self-efficacy. Selected articles from 2020–2024. Article search was conducted using Google Scholar. Results: Based on the results of the literature review, there is a significant relationship between the duration of DM and knowledge with self-efficacy of people with DM type 2, but there is no relationship between age, gender and education level with self-efficacy. Based on the results of the literature review, there is a significant relationship between the length of time suffering from DM and knowledge with self-efficacy of people with type 2 DM, but there is no relationship between age, gender and level of education with self-efficacy. The factors most related to self-efficacy are the length of time suffering from DM and knowledge of DM.
