Ethnographic analysis technique is used to describe the culture as it is related to owaadaa. The results show that Owaadaa is the center of orientation for the Mee people. Owaadaa was founded in the maki okogoo which is also in anthropological terms called a community or indigenous village in the present time. Owaadaa must be owned by each nucleus family as it affects the physical and spiritual health of family members. In maki okogoo there are yame kopaa clan and clan api kopaa. Both kinds of clans are bound to have an owaadaa, but the api kopaa clans have to establish an owaadaa in the land of their ancestors' inheritance called didee makii.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the general condition of religious harmony in Keerom Regency, which in recent years has been disturbed by the presence of several religious groups. Their presence can trigger religious conflicts in the community. The goal is expressed through local wisdom that serves to maintain religious harmony. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach. The research location was in Keerom Regency. The technique of determining informants is done by snowball. The research instruments used are recording devices, interview guidelines and notebooks. Data collected using observation and interview techniques were then analyzed qualitatively. Data analysis went through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, data verification and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the condition of religious harmony in Keerom is generally in a safe level although there are some certain frictions, but not to cause major conflicts. Tamne Yisan Kefase (consensus to build together) is a motto taken from the local language which is full of meaning. The main principle of this motto is to work together. This value is then held and lived by every community that inhabits the Keerom region, including in religious matters. The local wisdom is carried out until now in order to maintain and care for religious harmony in Keerom Regency.

Abstract

This research aims to analyse the culture of sharing space and strategies in dealing with multicultural spatial arrangements in Mamberamo Raya Regency and to analyse the legal progress of the Mamberamo Raya community as an implication of the existence of sharing living space. This research uses a qualitative research method with an ethnographic approach. data collection techniques are interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis includes the stages of domain analysis, taxonomy analysis, componential analysis and cultural theme analysis. The results showed that the sharing of living space in local communities in Mamberamo Raya are: material meaningful space; historical meaningful space; religious meaningful space; educative meaningful space; economic meaningful space. The narrowing of the boundaries of living space in the conception of each ethnicity in Mamberamo Raya makes 'some' local ethnicities continue to try to be resistant with all the power they have. This occurs because of the desire to continue to maintain their respective cultures and the desire to continue to live together peacefully. The sharing of living space between local communities and migrants in Mamberamo Raya is largely determined by the legal institutions of each community that work together. As an alternative to solving the problem of inter-ethnic struggle for living space in Mamberamo Raya, it is necessary to have a deeper understanding of the function and role of law in people's lives.

Abstract

The research, located in Yobeh Village, Jayapura Regency, aims to identify the existence of Ondoafi in the dynamics of informal government in Yobeh Village, Jayapura Regency. This research uses descriptive qualitative method. Data collection is conducted by interview, literature study, and documentation as a complement. The data analysis technique uses data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification models. This research uses the concept of local strongman. The result of the research shows that community awareness and the existence of Ondofolo determine whether Ondofolo is valued, respected or there has been a change in viewing Ondofolo's leadership. The existence of Ondofolo of Yobe Village is still maintained through the recognition of Ondofolo's position and the recognition of Ondofolo as a customary leader by his followers or community. On the way, disorganisation of Ondofolo khose of Yobe village also occurs as a result of incoming social change, which causes changes due to external factors and internal factors, which become obstacles to the existence of Ondofolo.
