Abstract

Acute respiratory infections (ARI) in toddlers remain an urgent health issue in Indonesia because toddlers are susceptible to infection due to their immature immune systems. The physical environment of the home plays a major role as a risk factor, especially in homes with poor ventilation, minimal lighting, high humidity, and inadequate sanitation. The objective of this study is to determine the relationship between housing density, the presence of ventilation, the presence of windows, lighting, and temperature with the incidence of ISPA in infants in Pasar Simundol Village. The research method used is quantitative with a cross-sectional design. The sample size in this study is 55 infants, calculated using the Lameshow formula. Data analysis was performed using univariate and bivariate analysis with the chi-square test. The results of the study showed a relationship between the presence of windows (PR = 1.697; p = 0.019 < 0.05), the presence of ventilation (PR = 1.080; p = 0.030 < 0.05), lighting (PR = 1.753; 0.011 < 0.05), temperature (PR = 1.733; p = 0.012 < 0.05), and humidity (PR = 1.853; p = 0.026), while there was no association with housing density (PR = 1.175; p = 0.832 > 0.05). It is recommended that the community improve the physical conditions of their homes, such as adding ventilation, windows, and maintaining cleanliness and lighting to reduce the risk of respiratory infections in infants.

Abstract

Dlight Photo Studio has taken an innovative step by integrating graphic design in their wedding videos, not just as a decorative element, but as a medium that conveys the values of love, affection, and wedding aesthetics. Qualitative research is a research method that focuses on understanding the meaning, experience, and views of subjects through in-depth data mining that is descriptive. This research shows that graphic design plays a dual role in wedding videography at Dlight Photo Studio: as an artistic medium that enhances aesthetics and as an effective visual communication strategy to build the studio's image, identity, and competitiveness. It shows that using targeted and innovative graphic design can make audiovisual works not only documentary but also communicative, emotional, and engaging.

Abstract

The performance of healthcare organizations is significantly influenced by the quality of leadership applied. This study aims to comprehensively examine the role of transformational leadership in improving healthcare organizational performance through a systematic literature review approach. The literature search was conducted through Google Scholar, PubMed, ScienceDirect, and ResearchGate using the keywords "transformational leadership" and "healthcare organizational performance." Of the 358 articles found, only 10 articles published between 2019 and 2024 met the inclusion criteria and were subjected to further analysis. The results of the study indicate that transformational leadership contributes significantly to increased productivity, loyalty, innovative work behavior, and employee commitment in various healthcare institutions, including hospitals, community health centers, and health offices. This leadership style has been shown to encourage the formation of a collaborative work culture and is oriented towards quality service, although its influence is not always direct because it is mediated by factors such as organizational culture, job satisfaction, and self-efficacy. These findings confirm that the implementation of transformational leadership, supported by a solid organizational system, is an effective strategy for improving performance and quality of service in the healthcare sector.

Abstract

Hypertension is one of the most common chronic diseases experienced by the elderly. One key factor in the successful management of hypertension in older adults is family support. Families serve as the entry point in both the prevention and treatment of diseases, as they are the first to recognize early signs of illness, provide health education, and ensure that family members maintain a healthy lifestyle. This study aims to describe the family support for elderly patients with hypertension in Kakaskasen 3 and Kakaskasen, working areas of the Kakaskasen Public Health Center, Tomohon City. This research employed a quantitative descriptive method with purposive sampling. The instrument used was a questionnaire, with a total of 149 respondents. The findings revealed that 67 respondents (44.97%) received good family support, 78 respondents (52.35%) received moderate support, and 4 respondents (2.68%) received poor support. These results indicate that the majority of elderly individuals received moderate support. However, family support should be further optimized so that the elderly feel secure, respected, cared for, and their daily needs are fulfilled. The results of this study are expected to serve as an evaluation material for Kakaskasen Public Health Center to enhance the active role of families in supporting elderly patients with hypertension, through health education, home visits, and continuous assistance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze food security strategies in Kubu Raya Regency, focusing on villages with limited access to food resources. The method used is a qualitative approach with a case study design. The selected villages have different food vulnerabilities, with selection criteria based on data on their high food vulnerability. The results show that food security in Kubu Raya Regency is influenced by three main dimensions: food availability, food access, and food utilization. Food availability in several villages is limited by small agricultural land areas and dependence on food distribution from outside the region. Food access is hampered by poor transportation infrastructure, while food utilization is affected by low nutritional knowledge and limited access to clean water. This study provides several strategies, including the development of agricultural and transportation infrastructure, local economic empowerment through agro-industry-based agriculture, and nutrition education to improve healthy food utilization. The proposed policy recommendations are expected to strengthen food security in Kubu Raya Regency, especially in the most vulnerable villages.

Abstract

This study discusses the concept of nid?' (call or call) in the Qur'an as a form of language style that is full of meaning and purpose of communication. This study departs from the view of Quraish Shihab and Fazlurrahman that the Qur'an has a breadth of meaning that can be studied from various points of view, including linguistic and rhetorical aspects. The Nid?' in the Qur'an not only serves as a summoner, but also conveys da'wah messages, warnings, invitations, and even prohibitions and questions. This study classifies nid?' into three main forms: nid?' '?m (general appeal), nid?' kh?? (a special appeal to a particular group), and nid?' lil-asykh?? (a call to a specific individual). In addition, the lexical and terminological meaning of nid?', the types of nid?' letters, as well as the essential meaning of majazi in its use are also discussed. With an approach to linguistic analysis and interpretation, this study confirms that the style of nid?' language in the Qur'an contains a strategic theological, pedagogical, and psychological content in conveying divine messages to mankind in various contexts.
