Abstract

PT. XYZ is a state-owned company engaged in the plantation sector and one of its branches is located in Kerinci,Jambi with its main product being Orthodox Black Tea. Inefficient and effective use of raw material, labor, energy and machinery during production activities encourages companies to increase productivity. Therefore, companies need to measure productivity to find out the dominant factors that affect productivity. The method used in productivity measurement is the Objective Matrix (OMAX) Method, so that the steps in this study referto the needs of matrix formation, namely: data collection, determination productivity criteria, calculation of ratios, determination of initial value, determination of the lowest ratio, determination of target values, and determination of weight.

Abstract

The problem that often occurs in cities is structuring the city, starting with settlements, spatial planning, poor communities and transportation, as well as the city of Padang. The increasing number of people needing transportation, especially the destination of Padang-Minangkabau International Airport, is one of the reasons for the opening of the train station. Because the train has several advantages compared to other land transportation equipment, which are relatively cheap costs, can sit freely, faster,and safer. The purpose of this study was to determine how much public interest in railroad modes of transportation by analyzing the level of satisfaction of train users in accordance with the response from the public.The Coefficient of Determination (R2) is obtained from the Adjusted R Square number of 0.404. This shows that the contribution of variables of comfort, safety, safety, time, transportation rates, and service to the users of the Padang-Minangkabau International Airport train are 0.404 or 40.4% while the remaining 59.6% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study. From this result, get a value of 40.4% which indicates that the services provided by PT. Kereta Api Indonesia has not been good and users have not been satisfied with the performance of the Padang-Minangkabau International Airport train service

Abstract

Pedestrians are part of a transportation system that is no less important than other modes of transportation. Therefore pedestrian needs are an integral part of the road transportation system. Based on the results of an evaluation of the behavior of pedestrian crossers on the Jalan Jend section. Sudirman on the influence of traffic, which can be concluded from this study is on the Jalan Jend segment. Sudirman during the hours of 06.00 - 08.00 that the crossing uses more roads than crossing through the zebra crossing in the morning and the zebra crossing in the crossing lights can be concluded to function ineffectively, on the Jalan Jend segment. Sudirman during 16.00 - 18.00 more crossers using zebra crossing than crossing through roads in the morning and zebra crossing in crossing lights can be concluded to function effectively, during the morning peak the average pedestrian crossing that passes through the road influences the performance of the current traffic where it is able to hold 1 vehicle for 1.03 seconds and during the afternoon peak the average pedestrian crosser that passes through the road affects the performance of traffic flow which is able to hold 2 vehicles for 1.53 seconds.

Abstract

Congestion is a situation or state of stalling or even stopping traffic caused by a large number of vehicles exceeding road capacity. Traffic congestion is a big problem that is often faced in Indonesia, especially in big cities. This study aims to analyze the factors that cause congestion in Jalan Gajah Mada Gunung Pangilun, Padang City. This research is quantitative descriptive by calculating traffic volume and the causes of traffic jams. And following the Urban Road Capacity Guidelines (PKJP, 2014). Based on the results of the field survey in Road Capacity (C) 3340 pcu / hour, Total Traffic Volume (Q) 1446 pcu / hour and Saturation Degree (DJ) 0.43 pcu / hour, so that the Road Service Level (LOS) type can be obtained B in the sense that traffic flow is stable, the speed starts to be influenced by traffic conditions, but can still be chosen according to the will of the driver. The highest level of congestion occurs on Wednesday, December 11, 2019 (from the day surveyed).

Abstract

Traffic congestion that occurs almost everyday in Pekanbaru City has caused losses in travel time and economic losses such as waste of fuel, loss of productive time and health costs. One of the causes of this congestion is the growth of road infrastructure that is not proportional to the growth in the number of motorized vehicles. Besides that, the existence of Pasar Pagi Arengka at the Jl. HR Soebrantas and Jl. Soekarno-Hatta, Riau Province, has also added to the level of congestion. Overcoming this problem, the Riau government together with the Dinas Pekerjaan Umum (PU) of Riau Province built a flyover or overpass at Pasar Pagi Arengka junction to overcome the congestion problem. The research data was obtained by conducting a survey to the location through a questionnaire to the community around the flyover with the number of respondents determined as many as 60 respondents. Calculation analysis is performed using SPSS Statistics. The results of the study stated that the impact caused by the construction of a flyover at the intersection of Pasar Pagi Arengka in Pekanbaru, Riau Province, to the community was quiteinfluential.
