Abstract

The agricultural sector plays a strategic role in the national economy, contributing 12.53% to Indonesia’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in 2023. Temanggung Regency, as one of the country’s horticultural centers, holds significant potential in commodities such as shallots, chilies, and potatoes. However, the production data recording process in this region is still conducted manually using separate spreadsheets across districts, leading to issues such as input errors, data duplication, loss of important information, and delays in analysis and reporting. This study aims to design and develop the Damora information system for recording and monitoring horticultural production, accessible via both web and mobile platforms for agricultural extension workers and government officers. The system was developed using the Waterfall methodology, employing Unified Modeling Language (UML) for system design, the Flutter framework for implementation, and Firebase as a centralized cloud-based database. The development process included requirements analysis, interface and data structure design, system implementation, and testing. Based on black box testing, all main system features functioned as expected, including production data recording, statistical monitoring, history tracking, and visualization of horticultural productivity graphs. In addition, a limited User Acceptance Test (UAT) was conducted involving agricultural extension workers and government staff, indicating that the system is easy to use, enhances reporting efficiency, and improves field data accuracy. The final result is a mobile application for agricultural extension officers and a web-based application for government officers, capable of providing integrated production data, facilitating information access, and supporting continuous monitoring by the Department of Food Security, Agriculture, and Fisheries of Temanggung Regency in the horticultural sector.

Abstract

In the current era of rapid digital transformation, information systems play an essential role in enhancing the efficiency and operational effectiveness of any organization, which is the precise focus of this research conducted at the Central Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI). The study's objective was to design a website-based employee absence system to digitally streamline and facilitate the previously manual processes of submitting leave applications, permit requests, and resolving attendance issues. The core problems identified were significant delays in the administrative process and a heavy reliance on physical documents, leading to overall inefficiency and vulnerability. To address these critical challenges, the research utilized the Rapid Application Development (RAD) methodology, which strongly emphasizes speed of development and active user involvement across three main phases: requirements planning, system design, and prototype construction. The necessary data was gathered through direct field observation and informal interviews conducted with the Human Resource Development (HRD) department and employee representatives. The tangible outcome of this research is a functional web-based system prototype design that offers key features, including the ability to download application forms for leave requests, permit requests, and attendance problem forms digitally. This innovative system is expected to substantially increase the work effectiveness of the HRD team, drastically minimize the consumption of physical documents, and provide greater convenience and autonomy for all employees in accessing and obtaining the necessary administrative documents independently and promptly

Abstract

The learning process in Kindergarten (TK) still uses traditional media such as picture books and less interactive physical teaching aids, so children quickly get bored. Based on initial observations at Aba Jongke Islamic Kindergarten, Sleman, it was noted that more than half of the students lost focus after 10–15 minutes of learning activities. To address this problem, this study aims to design and develop an Augmented Reality (AR)-based learning application using the 4D Research and Development (R&D) model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). The development process was validated by media and material experts, and tested on 1 teacher and 15 students as research subjects. The development results showed that the resulting AR application was able to increase student participation, increase learning motivation, and help them understand letters, numbers, and animals more quickly through a fun visual experience. In addition, teachers felt helped in delivering material because the class became more interactive and interesting. The final output of this study is an AR learning application for PAUD that is ready to be used as a supporting medium for learning activities in the classroom.

Abstract

Counseling services are a form of psychological support and educational tool that play an important role in student development in the school environment. The main objective of these services is to help students develop strong, independent characters that are ready to face future challenges in academic, social, and emotional aspects. However, in many schools, including SMAN 1 Demak, the counseling service system used is still conventional, such as manual recording and limited communication. This causes the counseling process to be less effective, less conducive, and time-consuming. These problems require the use of information technology in the form of digitizing counseling services. This study aims to develop a digital counseling service system based on the Agile method, which allows the system development process to be carried out iteratively and adaptively to user needs. The system was developed using the agile development method in the form of a mobile application using the Kotlin programming language. Blackbox testing was also carried out to ensure that the Adaptive Counseling system was running properly, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) was used to ensure that the system design was feasible for use. This system can improve the work efficiency of guidance counselors, accelerate access to student data, and create a more interactive and structured counseling space. This can be proven from the Black Box results, which show that 100% of the system's functionality runs according to the design. With the implementation of this digital system, counseling services at SMAN 1 Demak can run more optimally, modernly, and in accordance with the needs of the times.

Abstract

The rental systems for tents and decoration services in many regions are generally still managed manually through notebooks or text messages, which often leads to various operational issues. Common problems include delayed booking confirmations, transaction recording errors, difficulties in checking schedule availability in real time, and inefficient customer service workflows. These conditions hinder business processes and reduce customer satisfaction, especially in the digital era that demands fast, accurate, and integrated services. Therefore, a system capable of automating the booking process and providing digital payment mechanisms is required to ensure faster, safer, and more efficient transactions. This study aims to design and develop a web- and mobile-based booking system for tent and decoration rentals with integrated digital payment features. The research was conducted as a case study at Karisma Arga Decoration, Ponjong, Gunungkidul, Yogyakarta, using observation, interviews, and literature study to understand user needs and existing business workflows. The application was developed using the Laravel framework for the backend and React Native for the mobile platform, supporting digital payment methfods such as QRIS and e-wallets. The implementation results indicate that the system improves booking efficiency by up to 60% and reduces recording errors by 80%. Additionally, the system provides customers with the convenience of placing orders anytime and enables administrators to manage orders centrally. These findings demonstrate that digitalization plays a significant role in improving the professionalism and effectiveness of tent and decoration rental services in the era of Industry 4.0.

Abstract

This study aims to apply the concept of Business Intelligence (BI) by implementing it using the Power BI tools to analyze furniture sales data. The BI approash uses technology and analytical methods to analyze, integrate, and present information needed by company. Power BI is a BI platform for interactive data visualization. This approach involves the process of collecting and integrating data, which is then presented in the form of interactive and easy-to-understand visualizations. The research methods used include a literature study related to BI concepts and technology, as well as experiment using Power BI to analyze sales data with various key performance indicators (KPIs) such as growth sales, average purchase value, profit margin, etc. the results will be interpreted to obtain valuable information for more accurate business decision making. This research is expected to provide a better understanding of the application of BI using Power BI in sales data analysis and can be used as a basis for companies in making accurate and effective business decisions to achieve company targets.

Abstract

Automatic emotion analysis on informal Indonesian texts is a challenging task due to high linguistic variation, the use of slang, and abbreviations. This research focuses on the development and evaluation of an accurate emotion classification model, which can serve as a core component various relevant Natural Language Processing (NLP) applications. The proposed method is the fine-tuning of the pre-trained language model IndoBERT to classify texts from the social media platform Twitter (X) into five emotion classes: anger, fear, happy, love, and sadness. A custom dataset consisting of 4,940 Twitter posts was built through a targeted scraping process and statistically validated labeling to ensure data relevance and balance. Experiments show that after undergoing a comprehensive text preprocessing stage, including normalization using a custom abbreviation dictionary and stemming, the fine-tuned model achieved very high performance. Evaluation results on the test data show the model successfully reached an accuracy of 94% and a weighted average F1-score of 0.94. Learning curve analysis also confirms that the model did not suffer from overfitting and possesses good generalization capabilities. These results demonstrate that the IndoBERT fine-tuning approach is a highly effective and reliable solution for emotion classification in the informal Indonesian text domain.

Abstract

Small-scale pig farming in Indonesia continues to face challenges such as unstructured manual record-keeping, limited health monitoring, and the lack of integration between inventory and financial data. This study aims to develop PigFarm Manager, a mobile-based information system that integrates livestock management, inventory, financial records, and task monitoring into a single digital platform. The system was developed iteratively using the Prototyping method, with Flutter implemented on the frontend, Golang on the backend, and MySQL as the database. System evaluation was conducted using Black Box Testing and Usability Testing (UAT) to ensure that the application’s functionalities meet user needs. The results show that all major features including user authentication, livestock data management, financial transactions, and additional functions such as QR Code scanning and financial report export to Excel, performed well and operated stably. The implementation of the system enables real-time data access, improves recording efficiency, and enhances the accuracy of decision-making at the smallholder level. This is supported by a functional testing success rate of 100% and a usability score of 86%. The study contributes to the digital transformation of the livestock sector by offering a mobile-first solution that is adaptive, efficient, and accessible for small-scale pig farmers.

Abstract

Public services in Padukuhan V Tirtonirmolo, Kasihan, Bantul have so far been carried out manually through a WhatsApp group, resulting in ineffective processes for handling complaints, disseminating activity information, and managing inventory and domicile letters, as well as poor structure and documentation. This study aims to design and develop a web-mobile–based community service information system capable of integrating all administrative processes in the padukuhan digitally, quickly, accurately, and transparently. The research methods used include field observations, interviews with local officials, literature studies, and needs analysis to ensure that the system aligns with user context. The system development follows the Waterfall method through the stages of analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The community application was built using Flutter, while the admin dashboard was developed using React.js, supported by a Node.js backend and a MySQL database. Testing was carried out using Black Box Testing across 14 test scenarios, all of which produced outputs that met the expected results. Additionally, non-functional testing using the System Usability Scale (SUS) with 10 respondents produced an average score of 84.5, categorized as Good to Excellent, indicating that the system is easy to use and provides a positive user experience. Based on these results, the information system effectively replaces manual processes with an integrated digital service that improves efficiency, quality, and accessibility of public services in Padukuhan V Tirtonirmolo.

Abstract

Manual inventory management often leads to various issues such as inaccurate recordkeeping, delays in procurement processes, and difficulties in monitoring stock levels in real time [9]. This study aims to develop a web- and mobile-based inventory management information system using the Waterfall method. The web system was developed using PHP and MySQL, while the mobile application was built using Flutter to provide flexible access for users. The main features of the system include recording incoming and outgoing goods, real-time stock monitoring, and automatic notifications when stock reaches a minimum threshold. The test results indicate significant performance improvements compared to the previous manual process. Based on quantitative evaluation, the accuracy of stock recording increased from 82% to 98% after implementing the system, while the time required to complete stock recap activities was reduced from an average of 45 minutes to 12 minutes per session. In addition, the automatic notification feature accelerated the procurement process—from an average of 6 hours after stock depletion to only 1–2 hours for follow-up actions. Blackbox testing also confirmed that all system functions operated correctly under both normal and error scenarios. With this system, inventory management becomes more structured, accurate, and efficient, supporting faster and data-driven decision-making.
