This journal specifically welcomes research that aims to evaluate and understand complex care interventions that use the most appropriate design and methods for interesting research questions. Journal Scope: Fundamental Nursing Focuses on the knowledge that shapes the understanding of paradigms, the nursing profession, and the concepts of human growth and development and an understanding of several nursing theories. Medical Surgical Nursing Focusing on the concepts and principles of medical medical nursing background of the application of nursing science and technology in meeting the needs of adult clients who experience physiological changes with or without structural disorders, for example: respiratory system, cardiovascular system, digestive system, urinary system, endocrine system, tropical disease problems , innervation, musculoskeletal, integumentary systems, and male immunity and reproduction. Emergency Nursing Focusing on the concepts and principles of emergency nursing given to urgent and critical patients. Community Nursing Focusing on the basic concepts of health and community nursing, health programs / government policies in addressing priority health problems in Indonesia, community nursing care and issues related to issues and trends in community health problems in the context of major health services with an emphasis on improving health, preventing disease and health care. Occupational Health Nursing Focusing on the basic concepts of health and community nursing, health programs / government policies in addressing priority health problems in Indonesia, community nursing care and issues related to issues and trends in community health problems in the context of major health services with an emphasis on improving health, preventing disease and health care. Mental Health Nursing Focusing on nursing efforts in primary, secondary, and tertiary prevention of clients with bio-psycho-socio-spiritual problems and mental health disorders, individual therapeutic relationships in the family context, therapeutic modalities of nursing, mental health / nursing issues and trends in Indonesia and the role of nurses and prevention of mental health / nursing problems. Geriatrics and Gerontology Nursing Focusing on the concept of gerontik nursing which includes the provision of nursing care, carrying out advocacy, and work to improve the ability of elderly independence, prevent and minimize disability and support the death process with dignity. The scope of service in the elderly includes: 1. Institutional-based elderly health services 2. Community-based health services Family Nursing Focuses on the concept of family nursing which includes the role of the family describing a set of interpersonal behaviors, traits and activities related to individuals in certain positions and situations. Maternity Nursing Focusing on understanding the concepts and theories of maternity nursing and government policies in improving the health of women of childbearing age, pregnant women, mothers of birth, mothers after childbirth, and their babies up to 40 days in normal conditions their families. Pediatric Nursing Focusing on optimizing child growth through a comprehensive approach to solving biopsychosocial problems in a healthy range of illnesses and acute, chronic and life threatening conditions. Nursing Education Nursing education includes instruction in topic areas. These are nursing assessment, nursing diagnosis, and nursing care planning. In the United States, nursing students learn through traditional classroom and lab instruction. Nursing education also involves clinical rotations and simulation, throughout their schooling, to develop care planning and clinical reasoning. Abstract

Introduction: In Indonesia stunting still the main problem and concern in the field of nutrition, this condition in mark with height not according to age measured use the z-score. Children said stunting if the z-score <- 2SD until ≥- 3 SD and very short if < - 3 SD. Methods: This study to attemps to analyze the determinant. Stunting using study correlation with case design study case control done measurements on past (retrospektif) 38 group with the total sample case and 38 respondents. Results: The control group thr kind of data used primary data. Respondents who experienced anemia is 20 and 15 respondents (39,5 %) have children stunting and 5 responden (13,5 %) has a normal, with p-value p= 0,019 (p < 0,005) showing there the relationship between the anemia as the stunting in the work area Puskesmas Kasreman Conclusion: The conclusion of research is several factors such in minutely in the work area Puskesmas Kasreman, risk heving the anemia higher have children stunting. Expected health service, parents and knowledge of the factor causing people to stunting to prevent the occurrence stunting

Abstract

Introduction: Bullying behavior committed by fellow students at school is always associated with the search for self-identity and social status, but the behavior is very disturbing and has caused many victims. This study is to analyze the relationship of knowledge about bullying in adolescents and its influence on bullying behavior among peers. Methods: Data for this exploratory study were collected using a cross-sectional model. The study sample consisted of 80 students at SMAN 1 Kebomas Gresik who met the inclusion criteria. The independent variable is bullying knowledge. The dependent variable is bullying behavior. Two questionnaires were used in this study, knowledge about bullying and bullying behavior. The statistical test used is the Spearman Rank test with a significance level of α = 0.05.Results: the average sex of the respondent was 1.38 (SD: 0.487), the average age of the respondent was 1.90 (SD: 0.739), the average socioeconomic respondent was 2.75 (SD: 0.490), the average occupation of the respondent was 2.05 (SD: 0.525), the average bullying behavior of respondents is 1.40 (SD: 0.668), and there is a positive-negative relationship between knowledge and bullying behavior in adolescents (p = 0,000).Conclusion: increased knowledge about bullying can reduce bullying behavior. This is necessary for health education to improve understanding of the terror behaviors that are usually carried out by adolescents as a result of the moral release response from the growth and development process that is always experienced by adolescents so that they leave the knowledge possessed

Abstract

Introduction: Diabetes mellitus is a condition in which the body is unable to produce insulin so hyperglycemic. Uncontrolled hyperglikemi can result in several complications, one of which occurs in diabolical ulcers or leg injuries. Prevention of diasecond ulcers can be done by controlling blood sugar levels, exercising, and undergoing foot care. Knowledge of foot care needs to be known by diabetics in order to minimize the risk of diabetic ulcers. The purpose of this study is to know the level of knowledge of foot care in diabetics mellitus with the occurrence of diabetic ulcers. The design used is a scriptive correlation with the cross sectional approach. Methods: The technique of taking sambel with accidental sempling with a sample of 73 respondents. Analyze data using chi square. Results: The results of the study obtained as many as 40 reseponden (55.8%) knowledgeable and 50 respondents (68.5%) did not have a diabetikum ulcer. The results of the chi square analysis test obtained Pvalue = 0,000 which showed that there is a link between the knowledge of foot care and the incidence of diabetic ulcers in diabetics mellitus. Conclusion: From the results of this study, diabetics are expected to perform foot treatment so as to reduce the risk of diabetic ulcers.

Abstract

Introduction: Nutritional needs are a very important requirement for a baby's growth and development. Most of the nutrients needed for babies aged 0-6 months are determined by the quantity and quality of mother's milk because exclusive breastfeeding has a balanced composition and is ideal for babies. The problem of malnutrition is considered by the community as a matter of course so often babies who experience malnutrition are not taken to the community health center or hospital. from the results of a preliminary study in Menganti Village, Glagah Subdistrict, Lamongan Regency, out of 10 babies aged 0-6 months, 10% of infants with poor nutritional status were found. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between exclusive breastfeeding and the nutritional status of infants aged 0-6 months. Methods: The design of this study is a correlation study with a cross sectional approach, with a mother population of 26 respondents, a sample of 25 respondents. Sampling using simple random sampling technique, data taken using questionnaire sheets and observation sheets, then analyzed by spearman test with a significance level of 5 0.05. Results: The results showed that (40%) mothers gave exclusive breastfeeding and (72%) babies had good nutritional status. The statistical test results obtained rs = 0.345 and p = 0.092, where p> 0.05..  Conclusion: The conclusion in this study is that there is no relationship between exclusive breastfeeding and infant nutritional status. The implications of this study require the role of health workers to provide health education to mothers about breastfeeding that is appropriate for infants

Abstract

Introduction: The communication and interaction is the essence of every human as a social being. But, normal communications is not realyzed by the deaf speaking children. Deaf and speech impaired children affect self-concepts that affect communication. Where it will caused them to become inferior or have less confident. The confidence is begins through the formation of self-concept which formed from the experiences in their social interactions. This study aims to find the description of the communication and self-concept of the deaf and speech impaired children in SLB Darma Wanita Sumenep. Methods: This study used qualitative as a research methode with phenomenology approach. Respondents in this study are students of SLB Darma Wanita Sumenep who deaf and speech impaired start on birth. The sampling technique is used purposive sampling counted 10 respondents.    The data collected by observation and in-depth interviews of respondents. The data were analyze with triagulation of the interview , key person, and observation. Results: Based on the results of this study, known that between the deaf speaking children and the normal people have problems in terms of understanding the symbols and sentences that there not regularly, so they often occur discommunication. The self-concept of deaf speaking children is tend to be shy with the opposite gender, less open with new people, but they have a high spirits for they futures. They need encouragement to socialize with new people and other normal people. It can make their self-concept and self-confidence can be better. Conclusion: The communication deaf and speech impaired children experience obstacles in sending or receiving messages due to interference in understanding the symbols and writing that are given.
