Abstract

The importance of media relations which is commonly used by several public relations in government has implications for government policies according to the information needs of the public. One of them is the Madiun Regency Communication and Information Service regarding the problems of socializing government programs. This study aims to describe the media relations of the Madiun District Communication and Information Service in optimizing the dissemination of Government work programs. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative. Through data collection techniques, namely interviews and documentation in the discussion of this study. The results of the study, the media relations of the Madiun Regency Communication and Information Service, namely managing relations, developing strategies, and developing networks. In implementing media relations, there are forms of media relations by the Madiun District Communication and Information Office, namely Press Conferences, Press Receptions, Press Briefings, Press Gatherings, Press Gatherings, and Press Tours

Abstract

Hoaxes related to Covid-19 continue to increase on social media in Indonesia. As one of the largest internet users in Indonesia, hoax production is predicted to continue to occur. This research wants to map the hoax of Covid-19 news, especially related to vaccine news in Indonesia. Data were obtained from the hoax buster page of the Committee for Handling Covid-19 and Aptika Kominfo from January 18 to May 28, 2021, as many as 36 hoaxes. This research is important to be a guide to understanding hoaxes so that anti-hoax activists can formulate effective hoax prevention strategies. The results of this study found that most of the hoaxes were related to misleading information about the impact of vaccines, found as many as 12 news stories spread through social media on Facebook, more specifically spreading distrust of the government. Other hoax themes are partly targeting some individuals who deliberately use the name of a doctor to provide misleading information. The covid-19 hoax that spreads a lot has a pattern of attach, sort, straighten, resettle, and break. That is, hoax makers make use of images or text from real events and then changed them according to certain intentions and purposes.

Abstract

The Presence of Law no. 33 of 2014 concerning Halal Product Assurance mandated by Badan Penyelenggara Jaminan Produk Halal (BPJPH) has an impact on changing the halal logo in Indonesia. Now the Indonesian halal logo consists of a logogram and logotype. Using semiotic analysis from Roland Barthes, researchers try to examine the signs, connotations, and myths on the Indonesian halal logo. The use of kufi calligraphy in logotypes is inseparable from its history, that kufi khat has been used since the time of Rasulullah SAW. Furthermore, in its application, logogram and logotype cannot be separated. The researcher analyzed the use of white as the background in the logo, representing that BPJPH wants to show a new beginning based on the values of purity, sincerity, simplicity, and independence. The purple color in the logogram and logotype is believed to represent faith, piety, and high imagination. Historically, purple has represented courage. Apart from purple, this logo also has turquoise as its secondary color. Toska is considered to represent wisdom, calm, and stability.

Abstract

The development of information technology brings a change in society. The presence of gadgets, especially in the form of smartphones, has contributed a lot in everyday life, as a medium for seeking information, interacting, getting entertainment, and even doing business activities are also included in it. This journal aims to find out how the influence of gadgets on adolescent behavior in the Al-Hidayah dorm environment. This research is based on changes in adolescent behavior due to excessive use of gadgets. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The data was obtained through observing several residents of the Al-Hidayah dorm who used gadgets excessively. Data analysis was carried out from the beginning of this assignment until the assignment was collected.

Abstract

Occult alternative medicine is a treatment of human health using strange things that are not by reason or methods of treatment in scientific medicine. One of the figures who overcome supernatural medicine by dismantling the actions of shamans under the guise of ustad is the Pesulap Merah on his youtube account "PESULAP MERAH OFFICIAL". Does this research want to reveal how the concept of communication is carried out by the Pesulap Merah in tackling shamans under the guise of religion according to the perspective of Islam? The purpose of this study is to find out the concept of communication carried out by the Pesulap Merah in overcoming alternative occult medicine according to the perspective of Islam. The method used in this study is qualitative. The data source uses descriptive results from the observations of the Youtube channel as well as comments from netizens. The results of this study show that the concept of proselytizing communication carried out by the Pesulap Merah wants to reveal the action of occult alternative medicine under the guise of Islam so that people do not fall into misguidance.
