Abstract

Abstract:  Teachers are a key element in the success of education, but the selection of the best teachers at SMKN 1 Setia Janji has so far been subjective. This can lead to less than optimal results and does not reflect teacher performance comprehensively. This study aims to optimize the selection of the best teachers by implementing the Composite Performance Index (CPI) method as an assessment system based on a composite performance index. This method allows the integration of various assessment indicators, such as academic performance, discipline, innovation in teaching, and student responses to teacher teaching methods. This study uses a quantitative approach with data collection through documents, surveys, and interviews. Furthermore, the data is analyzed using the CPI calculation to produce a performance index for each teacher. The results of the study indicate that the CPI method is able to provide more objective, transparent, and accountable results in determining the best teachers. By eliminating subjectivity in the assessment, this method can also increase teacher motivation and strengthen a work culture based on achievement in schools. From the evaluation results, it was found that the CPI not only increases accuracy in the selection of the best teachers, but also provides a fairer and more comprehensive assessment standard. The findings of this study contribute to the development of a more effective teacher performance evaluation system, especially in the SMKN 1 Setia Janji environment.Keyword: best teacher selection; composite performance index (CPI); decision support system. Abstrak: Guru merupakan elemen kunci dalam keberhasilan pendidikan, namun pemilihan guru terbaik di SMKN 1 Setia Janji selama ini masih bersifat subjektif. Hal ini dapat menyebabkan hasil yang kurang optimal dan tidak mencerminkan kinerja guru secara komprehensif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan pemilihan guru terbaik dengan menerapkan metode Composite Performance Index (CPI) sebagai sistem penilaian berbasis indeks kinerja komposit. Metode ini memungkinkan integrasi berbagai indikator penilaian, seperti kinerja akademik, kedisiplinan, inovasi dalam pengajaran, serta tanggapan siswa terhadap metode pengajaran guru. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui dokumen, survei, dan wawancara. Selanjutnya, data dianalisis menggunakan perhitungan CPI untuk menghasilkan indeks kinerja setiap guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode CPI mampu memberikan hasil yang lebih objektif, transparan, dan akuntabel dalam menentukan guru terbaik. Dengan menghilangkan subjektivitas dalam penilaian, metode ini juga dapat meningkatkan motivasi guru dan memperkuat budaya kerja berbasis prestasi di sekolah. Dari hasil evaluasi, ditemukan bahwa CPI tidak hanya meningkatkan akurasi dalam seleksi guru terbaik, tetapi juga memberikan standar penilaian yang lebih adil dan menyeluruh. Temuan penelitian ini berkontribusi dalam pengembangan sistem evaluasi kinerja guru yang lebih efektif, khususnya di lingkungan SMKN 1 Setia JanjiKata kunci: pemilihan guru terbaik; composite performance index (CPI); sistem pendukung keputusan.

Abstract

Abstrak: Royal University, located in Kisaran City, North Sumatra, is one of the institutions receiving KIP Scholarship allocations from LLDIKTI Region 1. However, the selection process for scholarship recipients is still conducted manually, making it prone to bias and inaccuracies. This study aims to develop a Decision Support System (DSS) using the Profile Matching method to optimize the recipient selection process. The system evaluates candidates based on five criteria: income, dependents, social status, academic achievement, and housing status. The Profile Matching method calculates gaps between candidate profiles and ideal criteria, assigning weighted scores for ranking. The results show that the system successfully automates and enhances the accuracy, efficiency, and transparency of recipient selection. The final ranking aligns with manual calculations, confirming the system’s reliability. Putri Alya Ramadhani was ranked as the most eligible recipient. The implementation of this system significantly reduces human error and subjectivity, ensuring that scholarships are awarded to truly deserving students. This research demonstrates that a DSS based on Profile Matching can serve as an effective solution for fair and efficient scholarship distribution at Royal University.Keywords: KIP scholarship; profile matching; decision support system. Abstrak : Universitas Royal, yang berlokasi di Kota Kisaran, Sumatera Utara, merupakan salah satu perguruan tinggi yang menerima alokasi beasiswa KIP Kuliah dari LLDIKTI Wilayah 1. Namun, proses seleksi penerima beasiswa masih dilakukan secara manual, sehingga rentan terhadap bias dan ketidaktepatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan Sistem Pendukung Keputusan (SPK) berbasis metode Profile Matching guna mengoptimalkan proses seleksi penerima. Sistem ini menilai kandidat berdasarkan lima kriteria utama: penghasilan, tanggungan, status sosial, prestasi akademik, dan status rumah. Metode Profile Matching menghitung selisih antara profil kandidat dengan kriteria ideal, lalu memberikan bobot untuk menentukan peringkat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem ini mampu mengotomatisasi serta meningkatkan akurasi, efisiensi, dan transparansi dalam seleksi penerima beasiswa. Hasil perangkingan sistem sejalan dengan perhitungan manual, yang membuktikan keandalannya, dengan Putri Alya Ramadhani sebagai kandidat terbaik. Implementasi sistem ini secara signifikan mengurangi kesalahan manusia dan subjektivitas, sehingga memastikan beasiswa diberikan kepada mahasiswa yang benar-benar berhak. Penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa SPK berbasis Profile Matching dapat menjadi solusi yang efektif dalam distribusi beasiswa yang lebih adil dan efisien di Universitas Royal.Kata Kunci: beasiswa kip kuliah; profile matching; sistem pendukung keputusan.

Abstract

Abstract: Rabies is an infectious disease caused by the Lyssavirus virus from the Rhabdoviridae family. This disease is spread through the bite of animals such as dogs and cats, which are widely kept by the community. Lack of information about rabies causes its spread to be increasingly widespread. Therefore, an expert system is needed that can help early diagnosis of this disease. This study aims to develop an expert system based on the Certainty Factor (CF) method in diagnosing rabies in pets. Rabies symptom data were collected and calculated using the CF algorithm to determine the level of certainty of the diagnosis. The results showed that the expert system was able to diagnose rabies with high accuracy. Of the 100 samples tested, 90% showed symptoms of the prodromal stage, which is the early phase of infection. This system also provides prevention recommendations for pet owners. In conclusion, an expert system based on Certainty Factor can help early detection of rabies and provide useful information for pet owners in taking preventive measures.Keywords: rabies; certainty factor; expert system; disease diagnose. Abtrak: Rabies adalah penyakit menular yang disebabkan oleh virus Lyssavirus dari keluarga Rhabdoviridae. Penyakit ini menyebar melalui gigitan hewan seperti anjing dan kucing, yang banyak dipelihara oleh masyarakat. Kurangnya informasi mengenai rabies menyebabkan penyebarannya semakin luas. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan sistem pakar yang dapat membantu diagnosis dini penyakit ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sistem pakar berbasis metode Certainty Factor (CF) dalam mendiagnosis rabies pada hewan peliharaan. Data gejala rabies dikumpulkan dan dihitung menggunakan algoritma CF untuk menentukan tingkat kepastian diagnosis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem pakar mampu mendiagnosis rabies dengan akurasi tinggi. Dari 100 sampel yang diuji, 90% menunjukkan gejala tahap prodromal, yaitu fase awal infeksi. Sistem ini juga memberikan rekomendasi pencegahan bagi pemilik hewan. Kesimpulannya, sistem pakar berbasis Certainty Factor dapat membantu deteksi dini rabies serta memberikan informasi yang berguna bagi pemilik hewan dalam mengambil tindakan pencegahan.Kata kunci: rabies; certainty factor; sistem pakar; diagnosis penyakit.

Abstract

Abstract: Sidapdap Simanosor Village Farmers Group faces challenges in accessing and managing agricultural information efficiently. Limited resources and the absence of a web-based platform hinder the distribution of information quickly and accurately. This study aims to develop a technology-based agricultural forum site to improve the accessibility of information for farmer groups. The method used is the Waterfall software development model, which includes needs analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The results of the study indicate that the agricultural forum website can function well and provide convenience for farmer group members in accessing information, sharing experiences, and increasing collaboration between farmers. The implementation of this information technology has been proven to increase the efficiency of the agricultural information system, support sustainable agricultural practices, and encourage the growth of the agricultural sector in the area.Keywords: farmer groups, agricultural information systems, agricultural websites. Abstract: Kelompok Tani Desa Sidapdap Simanosor menghadapi tantangan dalam mengakses dan mengelola informasi pertanian secara efisien. Keterbatasan sumber daya dan tidak adanya platform berbasis web menghambat distribusi informasi yang cepat dan akurat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan situs forum pertanian berbasis teknologi guna meningkatkan aksesibilitas informasi bagi kelompok tani. Metode yang digunakan adalah model pengembangan perangkat lunak Waterfall, yang meliputi analisis kebutuhan, perancangan, implementasi, pengujian, dan pemeliharaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa situs web forum pertanian dapat berfungsi dengan baik dan memberikan kemudahan bagi anggota kelompok tani dalam mengakses informasi, berbagi pengalaman, serta meningkatkan kolaborasi antarpetani. Implementasi teknologi informasi ini terbukti meningkatkan efisiensi sistem informasi pertanian, mendukung praktik pertanian berkelanjutan, serta mendorong pertumbuhan sektor pertanian di daerah tersebut.Keywords: kelompok tani, sistem informasi pertanian, situs web pertanian.

Abstract

Abstract: Rapid technological developments have had a significant impact on various sectors, including education, where Human Computer Interaction (HCI) plays a role in increasing the effectiveness of technology-based learning. However, there are still challenges in the implementation of HCI, such as interface design, infrastructure, and user engagement. This study aims to evaluate the application of HCI in education by reviewing technologies such as chatbots, e-learning, Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and the use of PowerPoint to support learning. Using the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method based on journals published in 2020-2024 from Google Scholar, the results of the study show that chatbots increase communication efficiency and access to information, while AR and VR-based learning media help understand concepts, especially for students with special needs. The e-learning system designed with HCI principles provides an interactive and user-friendly learning experience, although there are still obstacles such as limited infrastructure and lack of training for educators. In addition, the use of AI in learning media has great potential in increasing engagement and quality of learning. Therefore, this study emphasizes the importance of user-oriented interface design, strengthening technological infrastructure, and collaboration between stakeholders to support more optimal implementation of IMK in the world of education.Keyword: human and computer interaction (HCI); artificial intelligence (AI); augmented reality (AR); education. Abstrak: Perkembangan teknologi yang pesat telah memberikan dampak signifikan di berbagai sektor, termasuk pendidikan, di mana Interaksi Manusia dan Komputer (IMK) berperan dalam meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran berbasis teknologi. Namun, masih terdapat tantangan dalam implementasi IMK, seperti desain antarmuka, infrastruktur, dan keterlibatan pengguna. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi penerapan IMK dalam pendidikan dengan meninjau teknologi seperti chatbot, e-learning, Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), Artificial Intelligence (AI), serta penggunaan PowerPoint dalam mendukung pembelajaran. Menggunakan metode Systematic Literature Review (SLR) berdasarkan jurnal terbitan 2020-2024 dari Google Scholar, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa chatbot meningkatkan efisiensi komunikasi dan akses informasi, sementara media pembelajaran berbasis AR dan VR membantu pemahaman konsep, terutama bagi siswa berkebutuhan khusus. Sistem e-learning yang dirancang dengan prinsip IMK memberikan pengalaman belajar yang interaktif dan ramah pengguna, meskipun masih ditemukan kendala seperti keterbatasan infrastruktur dan kurangnya pelatihan bagi tenaga pendidik. Selain itu, pemanfaatan AI dalam media pembelajaran memiliki potensi besar dalam meningkatkan keterlibatan dan kualitas pembelajaran. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya desain antarmuka yang berorientasi pada pengguna, penguatan infrastruktur teknologi, serta kolaborasi antar pemangku kepentingan guna mendukung implementasi IMK yang lebih optimal dalam dunia pendidikan.Kata kunci: interaksi manusia dan komputer (IMK); artificial intelligence (AI); augmented reality (AR); pendidikan.
