Abstract

This study aims to identify the constraints on potato farming and marketing in the Gayo Highlands of Aceh. The research sample consisted of potato farmers and traders who were involved in potato marketing in Bener Meriah Regency. Determination of the sample of traders is done by snowball sampling technique. The identification of constraints uses a qualitative descriptive approach, while the income analysis uses an analysis of costs and farm revenues. The results showed that there were constraints in potato farming in the form of wilt disease which caused potatoes to be harvested immediately and the fruit produced was smaller. This will have an impact on decreasing the income of potato farming. The relatively high use of pesticides during the rainy season has implications for increasing the cost of potato farming, on the other hand the difficulty of accessing capital causes farmers to enter into potato farming partnerships with collector traders with the provision that potato marketing must be done to these traders. The development of potato farming in the Gayo Highlands of Aceh has encountered several obstacles including fluctuations in potato prices, lack of weed control which has implications for decreasing potato productivity, difficulty in accessing capital which will determine the sustainability of farming, income and farmers' welfare. farmers, namely selling potatoes through collectors, through wholesalers, and selling directly to consumers. Factors that determine farmers' decisions in marketing potatoes are the selling price, farm capital assistance, farm location, and potato quality. Direct marketing of potatoes (3rd type) to consumers is more efficient than other potato marketing channels because it can reduce farming and marketing costs. However this is rare and the sales volume of potatoes is very small.

However, this agency has not guaranteed a significant return on government losses due to corruption. The writing of this thesis uses a normative legal research methodology and serves two purposes, namely, to analyze the laws and regulations governing the authority of prosecutors as prosecutors in relation to the restitution of state losses, and to study and describe the role of prosecutors to make the restitution to guarantee government assets or to offset government losses. due to criminal acts of corruption. Therefore, it is necessary to review the existing regulations so that the existing regulations do not open opportunities for corrupters to avoid being responsible for restoring government losses. Abstract

ABSTRACT The Citizenship Amendment Act, 2019, (Act) narrows India's path to citizenship and calls into question its secular beliefs. This is the first time that India has been designated as a Hindu country. The Act grants Hindu, Christian Sikh, Parsi, Buddhist,, and Jain immigrants from Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Bangladesh Indian citizenship. The legislation offers them citizenship if they arrived in India before December 14, 2014. Due to its multicultural, multilingual, and multi religious communities, India is known for its unity in diversity. This article focuses on the Indian Parliament's approval of the Citizenship Amendment Act of 2019 (CAA) impacting minority populations in India and its neighbouring states. Minority populations in modern South Asian countries suffer a number of challenges. As a result, numerous countries create policies and adopt laws to safeguard the weak. Minorities worldwide form diverse cultures and communities. For nations to transform their organisations and cultures into a civilized world that achieves unity in diversity, empowerment is required. Majority-minority tensions are surfacing at an alarming rate in Asia and Africa's emerging and poor nations. This article examines the flaws in the Indian government's Citizenship Amendment Act of 2019, which discriminates against some minority groups' fundamental rights and the Indian Constitution's secular ethos. This research also aims to address issues that have plagued minority populations since antiquity. South Asian governments and majority-minority organisations are encouraged to use innovative ways. Culture, customs, religion, race, color, caste, and creed separate minorities. This study looks into many facts, causes, and interactions in the Amendment Act of 2019, with an emphasis on religious minorities and their rights. Many issues that impact minority communities in South Asian countries are being investigated for their cause-and-effect relationships.
