Abstract

Introduction: This study examines the effectiveness of educational programs on the importance of trademark registration for partner business groups of Ohoi-Owned Enterprises in Ohoi Rat, Kei Kecil Timur District, Southeast Maluku Regency.Purposes of The Devotion: This educational program aims to increase public understanding of intellectual property rights protection, especially in terms of product brand registration. Method of The Devotion: The methods used include counseling, focus group discussions, brand registration simulations, and individual consultations.Results Main Findings of the Devotion: The results of pre- and post-education surveys show a significant increase in public understanding of the benefits and procedures of brand registration.  As many as 75% of respondents understand the importance of brand registration after the program, an increase of 60% from before.  Several obstacles were identified, such as high registration fees and complex procedures.  Policy recommendations include providing incentives, simplifying procedures, and improving access to information.  This program is expected to contribute to the improvement of the village economy through Brand protection for Micro and Small Enterprises.

Abstract

Introduction: This study aims to determine how the socialization of Law Number 32 of 2009 concerning Environmental Protection and Management in Gadingan Village, Mojolaban District, Sukoharjo Regency, and to evaluate public understanding of the contents and implementation of the law.Purposes of The Devotion: Socialization regarding environmental protection and management is very important to increase public awareness in maintaining environmental sustainability and fulfilling legal obligations related to sustainable natural resource management. Method of The Devotion: Legal counseling activities in Gadingan village, Mojolaban District, Sukoharjo Regency were carried out by the Panel Discussion method where the presenter delivered the material in turn, then continued with a question and answer between the speaker and the community.Results Main Findings of the Devotion: The results of the study indicate that the socialization carried out by the local government is still limited, both in terms of frequency and reach of participants. The community in Gadingan Village still has a low understanding of the importance of environmental protection based on the law. Therefore, it is necessary to increase the intensity of socialization and more active community involvement in environmental programs. This study is expected to contribute to efforts to increase community understanding of the importance of environmental management and protection in accordance with the provisions in force in Law Number 32 of 2009.

Abstract

Introduction: The importance of community service activities is that the academic world is obliged to provide education and legal understanding for the community. As a form of protection for citizens from all forms of discriminatory acts, it is the implementation of constitutional rights.Purposes of The Devotion: Coastal communities, especially those in Kampung Seri, Negeri Urimessing, understand the authority of institutions in regulating the determination of coastal area rehabilitation regulations and responsibility for the environment as well as to obtain suggestions and inputs from coastal communities directly that can be studied by the Government. Method of The Devotion: Community service activities through legal counseling are considered important to be carried out in order to provide legal understanding that legal tools in the form of regulations are very important to be held to ensure the protection of the environment and as a legal basis in rehabilitating areas that have experienced environmental damage, especially in coastal areas.Results Main Findings of the Devotion: Through this Community Service program, it is how to build legal awareness related to the importance of establishing regulations related to the rehabilitation of coastal areas as an effort to restore the environment as the responsibility of the community and the government. This activity involves the community and the government in the Urimessing Country, Ambon City. The problems examined in Community Service activities are closely related to the problems faced by the community today, with this community service activity it is expected to provide legal awareness and solutions about the importance of legal tools that function as an initial protection for the community and its environment to ensure sustainable environmental benefits.

Abstract

Introduction: Domestic violence, especially against wives, is a legal event that we often encounter in Indonesian society. Violence against wives that occurs in the household is not only experienced and found in the public sphere, but also very prevalent in the domestic sphere.Purposes of The Devotion: Providing Understanding to the Community, Community Service in Waipirit Village, Kairatu District, West Seram Regency, about Domestic Violence and efforts to resolve domestic violence crimes experienced by wives can be done using a restorative justice approach. Method of The Devotion: The method used is legal counseling to the community about efforts to resolve domestic violence crimes experienced by wives can be carried out using the Western restorative justice approach in Waipirit Village, Kairatu District, West Seram Regency.Results Main Findings of the Devotion: The implementation of Community Service activities  in Waipirit Village, Kairatu District, West Seram Regency,  can be found in efforts to resolve  domestic violence crimes experienced by wives can be carried out using a restorative justice approach where it provides opportunities for  parties  who are involved, especially the perpetrator and the victim, to participate in solving the case in such a way that the  role of the perpetrator and victim here only acts as witnesses when the case of violence is resolved by the police, especially in the Child Protection Law.

Abstract

Introduction: Lack of understanding of the community's rights around the mining area and lack of understanding of the permit and approval procedures from the indigenous peoples before the operation of the oil and gas mining company. This is the basis for the consideration of the Civil Law section of the Faculty of Law, Pattimura University to carry out community service activities as a form of implementing the Tri Dharma of higher education.Purposes of The Devotion: Providing legal knowledge related to the procedures for mining business license holders who carry out their business activities in the mining area. Method of The Devotion: The method used is the legal counseling method in the Bati Tribe, Kian Darat District, Eastern Seram Regency.Results Main Findings of the Devotion: Activities of PT. Balam Energy Limited and PT. Bureau Geophysical Processing without going through a process of requesting approval from the Bati Tribe community, which has an area that will be used for oil and gas mining management activities. This is contrary to Article 33 paragraph (3) of Law Number 22 of 2001 concerning Oil and Gas (Oil and Gas Law). And it has implications for the use of land owned by indigenous peoples related to land that is considered to have sacred value, settlements, public facilities and infrastructure, nature reserves, cultural heritage and land belonging to customary law communities.

Abstract

Introduction: Corruption is one of the biggest challenges for Indonesia, which is still being fought to be eliminated. Acts of corruption can not only damage the economic and legal order of the country, but more than that also damage the social and moral integrity of society.Purposes of The Devotion: To increase the awareness of State High School students of State High School 14 Central Maluku on the dangers of corruption and the importance of holding strong moral values in their daily lives in an effort to become agents to eradicate corruption from an early age both in the school environment, family, and the wider community. Method of The Devotion: It was carried out face-to-face with the resource persons in the classroom, and continued with an interactive discussion session where students were given the opportunity to ask questions related to corruption and its eradication efforts, and then explained again by the resource persons.Results Main Findings of the Devotion: Students of State High School 14 Central Maluku have become more aware of the importance of anti-corruption education as the basis for the formation of self-integrity and can know their role as Gen Z in eradicating corruption in all aspects of their lives. At their current critical age, where their moral values and integrity are beginning to take shape and their potential as learners that are still in the learning stage allows them to more easily accept and even apply the principles of honesty and accountability in their daily lives. The spirit of access to technology and communication through social media, which is very familiar to them, allows them to get information quickly and easily, and gives them the opportunity to be able to spread anti-corruption messages and increase public awareness at large and effectively. This certainly empowers students to become leaders with integrity, dare to speak out against corruption, and be able to create an environment that is free from corruption in the future.

Abstract

Introduction: Corruption of village funds is still an astonishing phenomenon in the midst of the implementation of village government. It is even recorded that villages are one of the largest contributors to corruption cases in Indonesia today.Purposes of The Devotion: This service aims to provide education to the community, how important it is to prevent potential corruption of village funds and how to involve community participation in prevention. Method of The Devotion: This activity was carried out in the form of legal counseling in Waipirit Village, Kairatu District, West Seram through a panel discussion where the presenters delivered material in turn and then continued with questions and answers between the presenters and the community.Results Main Findings of the Devotion: Based on the legal counseling activities carried out, one of which is a discussion, it shows that many participants, especially from the community, initially consider corruption in the management of village funds as a trivial problem. However, after participating in the discussion, they became more aware of the negative impact of corruption and the serious legal consequences for the perpetrators.
