Abstract

Internal soliton wave is the wave that happen below of sea surface. This wave occur is caused by distinction of mass density of seawater layer. The characteristic of this wave is defend it form and velocity. The aim of this research are to study model and analyzed the effect of amplitude, mass density, and thickness of layer towards internal soliton waves velocity. This research analyze equation of Korteweg de Vries of internal soliton wave to get the soliton solution from the result of this research was designed a program using Matlab 7.0. The result of program are an output of velocity and modelling chart in three dimensional. This result shows the effect of amplitude, mass density, and layer thickness towards velocity and widening of wave pulse

Abstract

The existence of minerals magnetic guano can be identified by knowing the kind of the minerals magnetic contained in guano. This research is to identification the kind of minerals-magnetic-guano from Bau-Bau Cave, East Kalimantan. The kind of minerals magnetic are Identified  using X-Ray Diffraction (XRD). Kind Minerals magnetic  is  determined by comparing the measured data with database of minerals. The measurement results showed that the guano samples have a mineral magnetic content. Kind of minerals magnetic in guano is magnetite (Fe3O4), it can be seen from the pattern at XRD measurements fractions. Data analysis showed that there are minerals magnetic in guano, it is happen because minerals magnetic transport from environments in to the cave

Abstract

Heatsink is one of the multiple device of coolant on computer or electronics device commonly made of metal. Heatsink as cooler is very interesting to be analyzed the model of its heating distribution. The purpose of the research is to analyse the model of transient heating distribution and the influence of material heatsink at the model of heat distribution which is produced. The methods which is used on the research is finite different that functions to get model of heating distribution. It is a the descriptive research namely modeling heat distribution at heatsing and comparing it with existing theory. The result of research indicates that heat distribution model at heatsink is almost  spread evenly. The material  of heatsink has an influence towards heat distribution of heatsink. The large value material of conductivity has a better heat distribution

Abstract

Serpentine rock alteration of olivine is widespread with content that is rich in magnesium oxide and silica. It has done research on the serpentine from Jorong Sungai Padi by giving heat treatment for investigating the crystal structure of serpentine. The samples of serpentine were crushed and sieved till form powder and calcined at temperature 725 ℃ to 825 ℃ for 1 hour. The results calcination were characterized by X-Ray Diffraction (XRD). Abstract

This research was conducted to find out the structureof the mineral dunite before and after calcination. This important research is done to increase the utilization of dunite. Determination of the structure of the dunite use characterization x-ray Diffraction (XRD). Dunite is heated with temperature variation, to see its effect when given the variations in temperature. The results obtained indicate the given temperature variation of structure of hexagonal dunite turned into orthorombik, with concentrations growing against the increase in the temperature of calcination.
