Abstract

One of the important things in implementing public services is the ability of a service officer to interact and communicate with the community. One of the communication programs carried out by the Solok Regency government, in this case, is the Department of Population and Civil Registration is to make a communication strategy program that is public service called "Integrated Sijarla". The method chosen for this research is using qualitative with a case study approach and using social exchange theory. This "Integrated Sijarla" program has been running from 2018 to the present and the results of the Integrated Sijarla program are very helpful for people who cannot come to the Solok Regency Civil Registration Office, especially those who live in difficult and isolated areas and satisfied communities services provided by service personnel working in the implementation of Integrated Sijarla.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the communication strategy of the KPP Pratama Bukittinggi Account Representative in disseminating e-filing to improve taxpayer compliance. The Directorate General of Taxes has set a strategic plan that is the migration of taxpayers to switch to using e-filing. In its implementation or implementation in the city of Bukittinggi, KPP Pratama Bukittinggi is required to succeed in the migration. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data collection techniques used in this study were interviews, documentation, and literature. The informants in this study amounted to 5 (five) Account Representatives using a purposive sampling technique. The results of the study indicate that the Account Representative has a plan for implementing e-filing socialization by approaching taxpayers using language, traditions, and customs of taxpayers. Provide education counseling that the delivery of notification letters (SPT) using e-filing is easier, does not need to be in line, and is safe. The conclusion of this study shows that the KPP Pratama Bukittinggi communication strategy starts from the plan, setting message objectives, approaching the traditions and habits of taxpayers, and using the right media.

Abstract

This study applies the theory of semiotics by Charles Sanders Peirce with the aim of knowing the signs that exist in the design of space in the office as well as for interior designer and architect practitioners to dissect and determine approaches that will serve as references in conceptualizing and designing office interior layouts. This study used a qualitative method. This qualitative study used the theory of semiotics by Charles Sanders Peirce by finding the signs seen in the interior design of the Traveloka office. Other sources of information such as literature and photos of Traveloka's office interior will be combined together using the data observation process. The findings of this study were to look at signs of dynamic and collaborative representation in the layout of the interior design of the Traveloka office located in every area and space, which uses a material with industrial concepts in interior elements. By finding the signs that existed in the interior design of the Traveloka office, it is expected that space users are sensitive to the concept of companies that want to portray the company's image through the design of office layouts.

Abstract

The concept of communication established through social media Instagram is by sharing photos and videos along with descriptions of these posts so that they can attract attention to become followers. Users who are already connected can also interact with each other intensely by providing a comment column on the post. Instagram is widely used by travelers as a reference for tourist sites to be visited. One of them is the Instagram account @desabuluhcina which focuses on posting information related to tourism potential in the Tourism Village of Buluhcina, Riau Province. This study aims to describe the effectiveness of Instagram as a promotional medium for the decision to visit the tourist village of Buluhcina. The research method uses quantitative descriptive methods. The population in this study were 165 people (accounts), and 63 samples used the Taro Yamane formula with a precision of 10%. The data collection technique was carried out using questionnaires and observations on the Instagram account @desabuluhcina. The results of this study are based on the results of the calculation of the hypothesis test using the Pearson formula is 0.947 <0.05 and the coefficient of determination of the effectiveness of the Instagram @desabuluhcina account on the decision of visiting tourists is 90%. Then there is a very high influence of 90% between the effectiveness of Instagram on the @desabuluhcina account on the decision to visit the tourist village of Buluhcina.

Abstract

In disaster communication, the government needs to carry out communication activities appropriately. The implementation of E-government is a must to do. The use of internet-based communication media by the government, in general, is still limited. This article wants to see how the application of internet-based communication media in communicating smog disasters in Riau Province. The theoretical concept used is e-government, government public relations, and disaster communication. These three concepts are considered in accordance with the problems at hand. Data obtained through interviews, focus group discussion. The findings obtained indicate that in the smog disaster communication the Riau Provincial Government has been implementing e-government.

Abstract

Technological developments and knowledge facilitate human beings in all respects. One of them is in interacting without having to meet directly. Unconsciously demanding humans understand what is being hit around it and understand what is again the current trend. One of the applications that many people love today is the online games application. New innovation Games apps, unlike in general that only play individual on the app, but rather this app can play with other real individuals, in this application can also play while chatting, so the competition to win More fun. However, this application is widely used as a matchmaking search event or boyfriend call it Hago application. The application that has 5 features one that is widely loved by men and women is "voice chat". The study uses phenomenological theory as well as qualitative methods with a phenomenological study conducted on twenty informant men of the application games Hago "Voice chat". From the results of this study can be concluded that the meaning of playing games by man users of Hago games "voice chat" as a means of entertainment, establishing relationships, filling the time of the bridegroom, indicating self-existence and maintaining identity Get an appreciation from her environment and find a match. Men using Hago applications are based upon the influence of the surrounding environment as well as on the basis of consciousness.

Abstract

This study found that the social media platforms are taking essential part in the life of every individual and can develop into a weapon of mass persuasion. However, the impact of rapid change within social media networks has created a devastating effect on the mind and society's perspective. As a consequence of these rapid changes, society is not able to decide which information is to absorb or pass it away. In addition, every individual or certain group has a great chance to persuade thoughts and actions within the framework of specific interests such as extremist movement, politics, and so on. Social media and online networking are considered to be anonymity with no cost or low cost as a means of mass communication. This makes social media platforms is an effective option to disseminate a variety of views, including extreme views to anyone who has network connectivity with online. There are steps that have been taken to prevent the communication and information technology of cyber patrols to prevent the dissemination of radical contents. Blocking accounts that contains radical materials can be an alternative to be taken in order to limit the information of radical understanding. However, the government is expected to take an important role in debriefing the fundamental ideology of Pancasila through students organization or social communities.

Abstract

The presence of Media social and all things that are in it color the lives of the community, one of which is tourism activities. The Ministry of Tourism collaborates with Influencer Arief Muhammad to promote tourist areas in Raja Ampat through Vlogs. To find out the aims and objectives in the vlog, the researcher used a multimodality / semiotic social analysis from Kress and Leeuwen. After that, a Stuart Hall representation analysis is carried out to understand how the destination image is described in the vlog. The results of this study indicate that there is an emphasis on destination imagery carried out by Arief Muhammad through his vlog. The emphasized image concepts are namely tourist leisure, tourist infrastructure, general infrastructure, . The concept that is highlighted the most is Natural Resources.
