Abstract

Teknologi bawah air kurang mendapatkan perhatian dari masyarakat, masih banyak kegiatan bawah air yang dilakukan dengan cara konvensional dan memiliki resiko yang tinggi. Oleh karena itu robot yang mampu bergerak di bawah air sangat dibutuhkan untuk membantu tugas manusia. Robot  bawah air yang dirancang adalah jenis mini ROV berbasis mikrokontroler Atmega 16. Robot ini menggunakan 3 buah motor penggerak untuk bermanuver dan dilengkapi dengan kamera serta sistem pencahayaan untuk memantau kondisi bawah air. Mikrokontroler Atmega16 sebagai pengendali utama yang terhubung ke joystick control melalui kabel agar robot dapat dikendalikan dari atas permukaan air. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah terwujudnya sebuah robot bawah air yang dapat menggantikan cara konvensional pada kegiatan bawah air. Hal yang paling penting dalam perancangan mini ROV adalah sistem pengendaliannya dan sistem kedap air. Dari hasil pengujian kekedapan air, tidak terdapat kebocoran pada bodi, sistem pemantauan dan sistem pencahayaan. Sedangkan pengujian gerak robot ketika berada di air, robot masih bisa bermanuver sesuai perintah. Ketika maju dengan jarak 2,25 meter memerlukan waktu 11,51 detik dan mundur dengan jarak yang sama dengan waktu 10,65 detik. Untuk menyelam dengan kedalaman 60cm memerlukan waktu 5,5 detik sedangkan naik atau timbul dengan kedalaman yang sama dengan waktu lebih cepat yaitu 2,8 detik karena tidak melawan tekanan air. Pada saat berputar ke kiri dengan sudut 0-360̊  waktu yang dibutuhkan 8,53 detik, sedangkan ke kanan dengan sudut 0-360̊ waktu yang tercatat lebih lama yaitu 9,72 detik. Untuk sistem pemantauan dan sistem pencahayaan masih dapat bekerja dibawah permukaan air walaupun hasil yang ditampilkan sistem pemantauan kurang maksimal. Hasil pengujian menyimpulkan bahwa robot bisa bermanuver sesuai perintah serta dapat membantu kegiatan pemantauan bawah air.   Kata kunci: robot bawah air, mini ROV, Mikrokontroler Atmega16

Abstract

Masjid Raya Mujahidin memiliki struktur bangunan yang tinggi, dimana 4 buah tower masing-masing memiliki tinggi ± 62 meter dan kubah yang berada di tengah dengan tinggi ± 40 meter. Mengingat hari guruh di wilayah Kota Pontianak yang sangat tinggi yaitu 219 hari/tahun, maka Masjid Raya Mujahidin sangat rentan akan sambaran petir. Oleh karena itu untuk menghindari dampak dari sambaran petir, Masjid Raya Mujahidin sangat perlu dipasang proteksi petir eksternal. Metode yang digunakan dalam penentuan proteksi petir adalah metode bola bergulir (Rolling Sphere Method), karena Masjid Raya Mujahidin memiliki bentuk struktur bangunan yang rumit. Masjid Raya Mujahidin memiliki tingkat proteksi petir level 1 dengan radius perlindungan sebesar 20 meter dan mampu memproteksi arus petir sampai 3 kA. Setelah melakukan simulasi dengan menggunakan bola bergulir pada sistem penangkap petir konvesional, maka jumlah finial yang dugunakan sebanyak 5 buah dengan tinggi 2 meter dan penampang konduktor penyalur yang digunakan adalah kabel BC 50 mm2. Sistem pembumian yang digunakan adalah Single Rod Grounding dengan panjang batang pembumian 6 meter dan dengan resistansi 0,6 – 1,2 Ohm.   Kata Kunci : Masjid Raya Mujahidin, Proteksi Petir Eksternal, Metode Bola Bergulir.

Abstract

Abstract- Induction motor when turned on directly will pull the current 5 to 7 times the full load current. The  current that  began  this  great  can  result  in  a voltage drop on the line so that it will interfere with other devices connected on the same line. For large power motor starting current will also be greater, so for motor with power above 30 or 50 hp are not recommended to turned on the motor directly. Right now, in Siantan Diesel Power Plant using Thermal Overload to protect the overcurrent, therefore in this research is about ”Rancang Bangun Sistem Proteksi Arus Lebih Motor Induksi 3 Fasa Dengan Timer Start dan Trip”. This design started from the selected conditions of  the  motor  field  and  data  in  Siantan Diesel Power Plant. This result of design has result of start current meansurement up to 380A in less than 0,5 seconds, meanwhite the nominal current when its working after the start current is 77A. To achieve nominal currents that needed lest  than 3  seconds, because the setting on the timer start and trip is 3 second, if it exceeds the time limit setting then the circuit will trip. The current trip in the measurement result 2,6A with time tolerance setting less than 3 seconds that can be set on IC 555 through a trimpot. With the delay system, composed of the timer start and trip will reducer configuration overcurrent, all components such as Resistor, LM 741, Relay 12V DC and other expeted to control the current to the motor gradually  in  accordance  with  the  desired  setting. Thus motor starting problem and distraction from the induction motor 3 phase can be overcome. mengalami gangguan yaitu dari arus lebih yang dapat merusak motor tersebut. Berikut  contoh  permasalahan  akibat  gangguan  pada motor induksi di lingkungan industri (PLTD Siantan): 1)   Lifetime peralatan listrik atau mesin semakin menurun. 2)   Seringnya terjadi   kasus   gulungan terbakar, kerusakan bearing pada motor  induksi 3 fasa karena terjadinya arus lebih,dll.   Permasalahan tersebut diharapkan akan teratasi selain menggunakan Thermal Overload Relay (TOR) yaitu  dengan  merancang dan  membuat alat  proteksi arus lebih motor induki 3 fasa dengan timer start dan trip. Dari pembuatan alat pengaman motor induksi 3 fasa ini diharapkan motor dapat bebas dari gangguan khususnya gangguan arus lebih.   2.     MOTOR INDUKSI 3 FASA DAN PROTEKSI ARUS LEBIH A.   Motor Induksi 3 fasa [1 – 3]   Konstruksi motor induksi secara detail terdiri atas dua bagian, yaitu: bagian stator dan bagian rotor. Stator adalah bagian motor yang diam terdiri : badan motor, inti stator, belitan stator, bearing dan terminal box. Abstract

ABSRACT - West Borneo province is very broad and many the villages have not gotten the electricity. Energy sources used to to generate electricity up to now is still dominated by fossil fuels. The wind is renewable energy source and environmently friendly that has the potential to replace fossil fuels and that potential is widely available in the west Borneo. This thesis discussed about analysis the wind power plant which is located in the Sungai Nibung village especially for house of worship ( mosque ) and patrol post. The methods used in the completion of this thesis is assisted by Homer Software to determine the feasibility of building a wind power plant in the village with Electric Generator (generator) with a capacity equal to the wind turbin as a comparison which will see the number of NPC (Net Present Cost ) and the lowest COE (Cost Of Energy). Based on the simulation results of two power plant that is the wind power plant and the generator ( generator ) with 500 watts capacity obtained the NPC for wind turbins $ 3.857 ( Rp 48.212,5 ) , coe $ 0.314 / kwh ( Rp 3.925 / kwh ) and for genarator electricity ( generator ) the npc $ 6.003 (Rp 75.037,5 ) , coe $ 0.489 / kwh ( Rp 6.112,5 / kwh ). Meanwhile for electricity generating 1000 Watt capacity for Wind Turbin NPC obtained for $ 5,386 (Rp 67 325), coe $ 0.439 / kwh ( Rp 5.487,5 / kwh ) and for an electric generator ( generator ) the value of the npc $ 9.758 ( rp 121.975 ) , coe $ 0.795 / kwh ( rp 9.937,5 / kwh ). In accordance with the data peak load of 285 watts, therefore the wind power plant with 500 watts capacity is appropriate to develop in the Sungai Nibung village.   Key words: Analysis The Wind Power Plant, Homer Software Simulation.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Optical fiber media have more reliability for optical fiber capable of delivering the data with a large capacity. Besides speed fiber optic data transfer media may reach 200.000 Mbps (200 Gbs), optical fiber communication systems inseparable from the influence of losses that affect the performance of optical fiber. Losses basically can be affect the Performance of an optical fiber communication system, but the size of the influence losses can be seen by conducting measurements performed that using Yokogawa OTDR AQ 7275 and compared with the results of standardized calculation using the power link budget calculation method. Based on the results of the comparison between the results of measurements and calculations it can be seen the performance of optical fibers. It can be done by performing measurements and calculations in the Pontianak-Sungai Raya link and link-GI GCC. Thus obtained cores with a value of large losses on the link GCC-GI located in the core 9 which has the value 31.261 dB losses which are at a distance 6.4957 km. Losses occurred due to losses macrobending so necessary improvement measures to establish the connection (splicing). Loss of value of measurement results and calculations of optical fiber communication systems from Pontianak-Sungai Raya link and link-GI GCC in PT.Telkom still in good shape and had a good Performance of the average, based on the measurement values are still below the value calculation. Abstract

ABSTRAC Developments in information technology and multimedia communication at this moment is growing rapidly. One of them is the development of multimedia where MATV used as an information media and entertainment at ​​hotels and apartments. the historical development of television is a technology CATV / Cable TV are known before the advent of new technologies MATV. MATV consists of two types of technology that is digital and analog. MATV is based on two types of differences, although not significant, the difference was only found in the main device is the modulator. If the Digital MATV one modulator unit can operate 4 unit receiver then it can not be done by MATV Analog. Because MATV Analog can only run one unit of Modulator. the results of research conducted by the TV standard parameter with a range of 60 dB to 80 dB. object of research taking samples at Hotel Golden Tulip Essential Pontianak with the output of view that is quite good. the value achieved is still in the measurement standard that is 68 dB, this shows that the system used to work optimally with good quality TV viewing. MATV Digital is a high-resolution TV with High Definition Television (HDTV) is a digital television standard internationa which is broadcast in 16: 9 format television while analog 4: 3. Digital MATV can accommodate broadcast in 1 package due to the use of bandwidth in Digital MATV with greater resolution. The reliability of the MATV Digital that uses the S-Band frequency makes the displayed image remains in good condition without being affected by the weather disturbance. Digital MATV not have an influence on the distance of the transmitting station. It happens because Digital TV receive signals directly from the satellite frequency or Digital broadcasting. when the system is running it creates a new channel from 1 st floor to the 11 th floor and still run according to procedure although the location of the transmitter far from the station transmitter, the results remain good image display without the overlap in different broadcast signals. Abstract

CCTV is surveillance camera system that allows the users to monitoring remotely. This will help in monitoring places that has high level of mobilization, but uneffectively for places that has low level of mobilization suchs storage room and residences. In this paper designed surveillance camera based on Raspberry Pi specialized for low level of mobilization that can be monitorized remotely. Raspberry Pi surveillance camera system will only record when it detected any movements on the camera, then automatically save the recorded video to Google Drive and sent the notification to the user. Based on WiFi USB test, result showed that Raspberry Pi connected with Router of Telecommunication Laboratory of Engineering Faculty of Tanjungpura University and get IP Address which 192.168.0.105. Based on LCD 16x2 test when the program is running, gets that LCD showed date of “24th, may” time “08:38:11” and IP Address that connected with Raspberry Pi 192.168.0.105. Based on surveillance testing running with Tablet Advan T1J+ that connected with GSM network, the result is the program running smoothly. Based on surveillance camera monitoring test of Raspberry Pi, gets the average value of response time for testing using Laptop device with 5 meter distance from Access Point is 8,6 second and distance of 25 meter from Access Point is 8,2 second, meanwhile the average value of response time for testing using Tablet Advan T1J+ device is 8,2 second. Time between on page response monitoring happened based on 2 factors which from RAM Raspberry Pi for testing still running at 512 MB and internet connection. Replacement model of Raspberry Pi that have larger RAM fitur from then can be done so video streaming that showing live in real-time. Average speed of page response monitoring time on every test relatively the same, this is based on how big the available bandwidth is and the bandwidth to run the internet network. The result of integration test between Raspberry Pi and Google Drive, gets that recorded tape result saved nicely on Google Drive and give notification to the user. The notification sent to the Table Advan T1J+ with message of “” BULGAR !!!” video recording successfully saved on Google Drive”. Based on GPIO test, shows that Email receive new message from video record result, so blue indicator LED on.   Key words: Raspberry Pi, CCTV, WiFi USB, LCD 16x2, Google Drive, Email, GPIO.
