Abstract

The process of counting fish seed is still done manually by scooped the baby  fish using a simple steam shovel (similar scoop). The manual counting requires a lot of power and frequently encountered  problems  or  obstacles  such  as  time  in  counting  and  the  inaccuracy  of  the calculation result. To resolve this problem required a fast and precise calculation method. Thus, the method of calculating fingerlings were designed using the keys number (keypad). The counting of baby fish, compare the input the keys number (keypad) and photodiode sensors. Output will be displayed to the seven segment viewer. If the seven segment show the same number, then the DC motor will work to close the tap line and the sensor stops working. Based on test results, the number of fish that measured 30, 50 and 100 individu. Test result "Z" uses the value of error of 5%, then these tools can be accepted as a means of calculating fish seeds with  95%  confidence  level.  The  factors  that  affect  the  overall  ability  of  the  tool  is  fish population, fish uniformity, the sensors construction,  the volume and water conditions.   Keywords : keypad, baby fish, the “Z” of test

Abstract

Abstrak - Energi listrik merupakan hal yang sangat penting bagi kehidupan manusia. Saat ini kita telah merasakan krisis energi sehingga kita harus memanfaatkan energi listrik dengan sangat  bijak.  Potensi  energi terbarukan khususnya energi air saat ini merupakan solusi dari krisis energi saat ini. Simulator Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Piko Hidro adalah merupakan suatu alat atau media yang mirip dengan pembangkit listrik tenaga air asli yang kegunaannya untuk memperkenalkan  atau  menjelaskan serta membantu dalam pemahaman agar lebih memberikan pengertian dari suatu alat yang skalanya lebih besar. Dalam   penelitian   ini   memaparkan hasil pengukuran dan pengujian simulator Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Piko Hidro (PLTPH) serta pembuatan modul praktikum yang belum tersedia, simulator ini dirancang untuk mengetahui mengenai skema Pembangkit  Listrik  Tenaga  Air (PLTA) sebagai bahan pembelajaran. Setelah simulator PLTPH di uji cobakan, Maka didapatkan debit pada saluran 0.29 L/det dan nilai head 22,85 meter, Dengan potensial daya sebesar 500  W atau  0,5  kW dengan  efisiensi generator 0,85 dan efisiensi turbin 0,9. serta  jumlah kutub generator 4  kutub dan kecepatan 1400 rpm. Diharapkan penelitian ini, dapat mempermudah pengguna dalam memahami mengenai pembangkit listrik tenaga Air. Kata Kunci: simulator,PLTPH.

Abstract

ABSTRACT- In the 3G communication network for the  operator Three, there are  locations where 3G internet signals received less than the maximum in its Internet services, so that conducted this study to determine the cause of less maximal 3G internet service  provider  in  the  Area  Three  Khatulistiwa Plaza. The study consisted of RSCP calculation using the model Cost-231 Hatta. Measurement RSCP, Ec/No, and use the Walk Test Throughput. Calculations and measurements are divided into 2 of the calculations and measurements before and after you install repeaters installed repeaters. The purpose of the installation of the repeater is to amplify the signal, in order to obtain a better signal. The result of the calculation before and after you install repeaters indicates the received signal power level is in the range of 0 to -74, this indicates the received signal quality is very good by the standards of operator  Three,  as  well  as  measurement  results before and after you install repeaters indicates the level of signal strength is above the acceptable standard of operator Three, the standard lowest signal RSCP for Three operators are in the range of - 86 to -90. 3G network for data quality before and after you install repeater is below the standard of operator Three, the standard lowest signal Ec/No to Three operators are in the range of -8 to -12. For repeater is used on the Khatulistiwa Plaza does not affect  the  measurement of  RSCP  and  Ec/No,  only affect the measurement throughput, this indicates that the repeater does not work optimally, based on the results of the analysis of this is because the repeater is used Repeater RD-1840 works at a frequency of GSM1800 MHz, while the frequency of  the transmitter Node B to the 3G network is 2100 MHz, it is recommended that you should use the repeater SP- 2110, SP-2100 because the repeater is working on WCDMA2100 MHz frequency. Abstract

ABSTRACT- Propagation model in cellular communication is needed to know the characteristic of propagation and it can be used to predict the value of receiving power level cellular network. The value of receiving power level is one of the indicator to see the signal quality and the influence in the prediction of beam coverage in BTS that is usually called coverage. Propagation model that would be used in this research was outdoor Walfisch-Ikegami. This research located at city center with taking the receiving power that radiated from BTS Santika that taken by using measurement from software G-NetTrack Lite in 3G Signal. The purpose of this research was to analyze the receiving power level by using Walfisch-Ikegami propagation model approach. The value of receiving power known by Walfisch-Ikegami propagation calculation and measurement by using G-NetTrack Lite towards 5 points street around BTS Santika was Agus Salim  Street,  Merapi  Street,  Antasari  Street, Diponegoro Street, and Teuku Cik Ditiro Street. The result of propagation model calculation was founded as follow, -102.21 dBm, -89.68 dBm, -82.46 dBm, -96.05 dBm, and -76.49 dBm. The result of measurement by using the G-NetTrack Lite was founded as follow, -71 dBm, -73 dBm, -75 dBm, -81 dBm, and -75 dBm. The smaller the loss value or attenuation value, the value of receiving power that was founded would be closer with standard which has been set. The bigger the loss value or attenuation value, so the value of receiving power that was founded would be further with standard which has been set. Abstract

Nilai tahanan jenis tanah sangat bergantung pada jenis tanah tersebut. Dalam menentukan sistem pentanahan kita perlu mengetahui nilai tahanan jenis tanah. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan pengukuran tahanan jenis tanah pada tanah lempung (clay). Pengukuran dilakukan dengan metode tiga titik berdasarkan musim yaitu musim hujan dan musim kemarau dengan variabel kandungan air tanah, suhu dan pH tanah lempung. Alat ukur yang digunakan yaitu earth tester dengan bantuan elektroda uji (E) elektroda bantu arus (C) dan elektroda bantu tegangan (P) dengan jarak terjauh antara elektroda uji dan elektroda bantu tegangan adalah 40 meter dan memindahkan elektroda bantu tegangan (P) setiap lima meter. Hasil pengukuran menunjukan pada musim kemarau nilai tanahan jenis tanah sebesar 1472,58 Ω.m, kandungan air 8,85%, pH 5-6,7, dan suhu tanah sebesar 310C. Tahanan jenis tanah pada musim hujan  530,13 Ω.m, kandungan air 22.26%, nilai pH 6,7-6,8, dan suhu sebesar 27,50C. Kesimpulan yang dapat diambil dari data-data diatas adalah semakin rendah nilai kandungan air maka nilai tahanan jenis tanah akan semakin tinggi, semakin meningkatnya suhu tanah nilai tahanan tanah juga akan semakin meningkat, nilai pH tanah lempung tidak berpengaruh besar pada nilai tahanan jenis tanah tersebut.   Kata kunci: pentanahan, tanah lempung

Abstract

Antenna received power is one of the parameters that can indicate the quality of the Internet network used by the client. Technician PT. JPNN Media Link Pontianak installing client antenna to get good acceptance simply by estimating the distance and direction of the antenna manually into consideration to gain acceptance without performing mathematical calculations. This study was conducted on 10 client PT. JPNN Media Link Pontianak. Then the results of some research data comparisons will be drawn conclusions and suggestions about the factors that influence the quality of the received power antenna AirGrid M5HP client PT. JPNN Media Link Pontianak. The average yield received power at the antenna AirGrid M5HP 10 client PT. JPNN Media Link Pontianak is entered in both categories that have a range between -73 dBm to -66 dBm, based on the received power standards set by Ubiquiti Networks. From the testing that was done on 10 client, the client only 2 that have received power value in the category enough antenna, this is because the client 2 has the farthest distance of 20 km, the frequency used is also high at 5700 MHz and are a barrier in the beam path between the transmitter antenna and receiver antenna on the client 2. Factors that could cause the value of the received power decreases M5HP AirGrid antenna is the distance between the transmitter antenna and receiver antenna, the geographical situation of the earth through which the signal, frequency of use, and precision pointing of the antenna.   Keywords: Receive Power Antenna, AirGrid M5HP, Media Link, Wireless.

Abstract

Transmission system fiber optics between STO Pontianak Centum STO Siantan, now already using two lane fiber optics. The first lane be name"Main" and the second lane "protection", if  the one of lane impaired breaking cable, than be use coupler application for resolve corruption data traffic between STO Pontianak Centrum - STO siantan. For this application usage coupler that has been measured and calculated total attenuation and acceptance on both of  lane, before coupler being installed and after coupler installed. For the result to measurement total attenuation befor intalled coupler on lane "Main" : 9 dB and lane "Protection" :8.5 dB and the result calculation on lane "Main":7.4 db and lane"Protection":10.75 dB. While the results measurement acceptance after installed coupler on lane"protection": -12.5 dBm, and result calculation on lane "Main":-13.4 dBm and lane" Protection": -11.75 dBm. On measurement and calculation total attenuation also acceptance, before and after install coupler, there is a difference result that have find from measurement and calculation. This is because of the difference connectors are not clean, connection that is not "pres" and bending on optical fiber. This difference will not becoming a problem because result that be obtained equally-equally good, and in the circumscription that be given devices (lath). For device attenuation total that is 6 dB until 24 dB, and to receptivity that is -6 dBm until – 24 dBm. After in do it measurement and calculation attenuation total and receptivity before mounted coupler and after mounted coupler, then it can be concluded that the coupler can be used to overcome the interference broken off  the fiber optic cable and a coupler in installed at night and a coupler installation does not require a long time. Abstract

Abstrak - Ketidakseimbangan beban pada suatu sistem distribusi tenaga listrik terjadi diakibatkan oleh ketidakseimbangn pada beban-beban satu fasa pada pelanggan jaringan tegangan rendah. Akibat dari ketidakseimbangan beban tersebut adalah munculnya arus di netral transformator. Arus yang mengalir di netral transformator ini menyebabkan terjadinya losses (rugi-rugi), yaitu losses akibat adanya arus netral pada penghantar netral transformator dan losses akibat arus netral yang mengalir ke tanah. Metode penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pengukuran langsung ke lapangan dengan menggunakan Power Harmonic Analyzer Fluke 41 B yang dilakukan pada saat beban puncak yaitu dari jam 7 malam sampai jam 12 malam, selanjutnya dari data yang diperlukan diolah dengan menggunakan perhitungan losses (rugi-rugi) akibat adanya arus netral pada penghantar netral transformator dan losses akibat arus netral yang mengalir ke tanah. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukan bahwa jika terjadi ketidakseimbangan beban yang besar, maka arus netral yang muncul juga semakin besar, akibatnya losses yang terjadi akan semakin besar.

Abstract

Analysis of the performance of NEC's PASOLINK system radio receivers at the grand crown pontianak used to compare the results of the power received on a radio device with power received in the calculation results. To compare the results of the received power at a radio device with the calculation results of received power required calculation parameters are: Feeder Loss, Loss Rain, Free Space Loss, Gain Antenna, EIRP, and Accept Input Power Receiver. Based benchmarks used for acceptance refers to the standards of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), namely Pr -50 dBm then proceeds received power on the device is very good radio. From the calculation of the received power obtained without the K factor is -53.454 dBm. Whereas the results of power received by the K factor is -54.784 dBm. Based benchmarks used for acceptance refers to the standards of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), namely Pr = < -50 s / d -88 dBm then the power received on the calculation HSIL good enough. Walaupaun data retrieval is done with the conditions and at different times, the results gained acceptance fairly stable. Measurement used to power the results received signal referring to the standards of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), namely Pr> - 50 dBm, then it is very good, Pr = < -50 s / d - 88 dBm, then it is good enough, Pr < - 88 dBm, bad. Preventive maintenance on radio equipment NEC PASOLINK should run well because it aims to prevent equipment damage during surgery. Preventive maintenance is done on a scheduled basis according to the estimated life of the equipment. Results received power at a radio device in the grand crown of october until november is very good because the received power is greater than -50 dBm. Abstract

Pada skripsi ini dikaji mengenai sistem dan kapasitas PLTS sebagai suplai cadangan di Hotel Kini Kota Pontianak. Untuk menekan biaya investasi awal, maka sistem yang diterapkan adalah sistem PLTS grid connected tanpa baterai. Menggunakan panel surya 300 Wp, dengan intensitas harian rata-rata paling minimum Kota Pontianak /hari, suhu rata-rata paling maksimum Kota Pontianak 28,22 °C, Hotel Kini memerlukan panel surya sebanyak 99 buah, inverter single phase grid connected 10.000 watt sebanyak 3 buah. Berdasarkan letak geografis Kota Pontianak, panel surya dipasang dengan sudut kemiringan 0° (mendatar). Daya keluaran panel surya sebesar 90,003 kWh/hari atau sebesar 32.851,095  kWh/tahun. Dengan investasi awal untuk PLTS tersebut sebesar Rp 688.201.200,00, dan berdasarkan analisis ekonomi Net Present Value (NPV), Profitability Index (PI), dan Discounted Payback Period (DPP), dari ketiganya  menyatakan bahwa layak untuk diterapkan.
