This journal was first published in 2020 and is periodically published twice per year in June and December. Since 2020 this journal has been online. Al Muawanah: Journal of Community Service is a communication medium used by researchers, lecturers, teachers, practitioners, and students to convey information or concepts and research results that have been achieved in the field of community service. All articles published by Al Muawanah Journal will have a unique DOI number. In 2022, Al Muawanah Journal will apply for accreditation to the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia to ensure that the authors have chosen the Al Muawanah Journal as a place to publish their community service articles. The focus of this journal is a scientific multidisciplinary journal published by Pusat Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat - Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (LP2M) UIN Raden Intan Lampung. It is in the national level that covers a lot of common problems or issues related to community services. The aim of this journal publication is to disseminate the conceptual thoughts or ideas and research results that have been achieved in the area of community services. The Al Muawanah Journal aimed to gather information or concepts and the results of research that has been achieved in the field of community services. Al Muawanah Journal published the multi-disciplinary scope article, including Field of Community Studies, Technology Innovation for Village Communities, Village Community Development, Policy for Village Communities, Village government governance, and All fields related to Community Service.

Abstract

The process of making student cards at SMA Mahaputra Tello Makassar is currently still using third party services in this case printing. In the process, the TU staff provides data to the printer and then waits for a month for the printing process. This is very ineffective because of the long build time. This Community Service aims to provide training for the staff of SMA Maha Putra Tello Makassar so that they can make desktop-based student cards. Later it helps facilitate staff in making student cards. The application of desktop-based student card making applications at SMA Maha Putra Tello Makassar is very much needed and can help the work of TU staff in making student cards and provide benefits to the school in this case reducing the cost of making student cards.

Abstract

Kegiatan penyuluhan ini dilakukan oleh tim pengabdian masyarakat karena masih kurangnya edukasi terhadap anak-anak terkait perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat (PHBS) serta masih minimnya pemahaman anak-anak tentang pentingnya menjaga kesehatan diri dan kebersihan lingkungan. Kegiatan ini diselenggarakan di ruang kelas dan area sekitar Taman Pendidikan Al-Qur’an (TPA) Al-Muttaqin yang berada di Desa Negara Bumi, Kecamatan Sungkai Tengah, Kabupaten Lampung Utara. Metode yang dilakukan adalah dengan cara memberikan penyuluhan kepada para murid (anak-anak) Taman Pendidikan Al-Qur’an (TPA) Al-Muttaqin dengan peserta berjumlah 20 orang. Tujuan diadakannya kegiatan penyuluhan ini adalah untuk mengedukasi peserta bahwa perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat (PHBS) serta menjaga kesehatan diri dan lngkungan itu sangat penting untuk diketahui dan diterapkan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Hasilnya, para peserta (anak-anak) Taman Pendidikan Al-Qur’an (TPA) Al-Muttaqin sudah mengetahui dan menerapkan Perilaku Hidup Bersih dan Sehat (PHBS) dan mampu menjaga kesehatan diri dan lingkungannya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.

Abstract

Penyakit hemoroid merupakan gangguan anorektal yang mempunyai gejala perdarahan dan penonjolan saat defekasi. Kejadian hemoroid  cenderung meningkat seiring dengan bertambahnya usia  seseorang, dimana usia  puncaknya adalah umur 45-65 tahun. Penanganan  hemoroid meliputi perubahan gaya hidup, manajemen konservatif berupa medikamentosa, manajemen invasif minimal sampai terapi yang agresif meliputi pembedahan. Tujuan pengabdian ini untuk mengetahui analisis  terapi anti hemoroid pada pasien di Rumah Sakit Imanuel Way Halim Bandar Lampung. Hasilnya diketahui sebagian besar Pasien Hemoroid berjenis kelamin perempuan (64.3%), berusia 36-45 tahun (26.8%), mendapatkan terapi farmakologi (62.5%) dan  diresepkan golongan obat anti hemoroid (149 %). Dari hasil pengbadian, penyakit hemoroid banyak ditemukan pada pasien perempuan berusia diatas 36 tahun. Penanganan yang didapatkan berupa terapi farmakologi dan diberikan obat anti hemoroid.

Abstract

Tulisan ini berangkat dari kegiatan kolaborasi pengabdian dosen dan mahasiswa memberikan wawasan  pengalaman dan pembelajaran yang sangat inspiratif. Pengalaman pengabdian di Desa Pandansari Selatan, Kecamatan Sukoharjo, Kabupaten Pringsewu. Mengenal satu sama lain yang berbeda karakter dan pemikiran membuat kami saling mengerti satu sama lain, tuntutan kondisi yang mengharuskan untuk kompak bergerak dan solid. Berbaur dengan masyarakat sekitar yang menyambut dengan hangat, membuat kami menjadi lebih semangat untuk melaksanakan program kerja. Masyarakat desa yang kreatif dan produktif menambah decak kagum tim ketika mengabdi di desa Pandansari Selatan.

Abstract

KKN-Dik activities are a form of activity that supports students' ability to socialize. Because students have the task of education, research and service. This KKN activity is one of the student's tasks to serve the community. In the community, it becomes a laboratory for students, because all the learning processes obtained on campus can be implemented in the community so that they can help and develop in the village. Historical insight is one of the important things to know the history of the nation and the country. In addition, reading literacy is also a major component to form a superior young generation. Therefore, the purpose of this community service is to provide assistance with insight into Indonesian history and reading literacy in order to form a good character and identity as well as an embedded sense of nationalism. The method used is the guidance and delivery of material carried out by students to the children of Mekarsari Village. As a result of this community service, the children of Mekarsari Village have understood and understood the events of Indonesian history and began to be interested in continuing to read.

Abstract

The era of the industrial revolution 4.0 demands an increase in the quality of human resources to be able to compete globally, for that further study at university is one of the efforts to improve the quality of human resources. One of the communities that has great potential but has not been touched by the socialization of the importance of further study to universities in the industrial revolution 4.0 era is Islamic boarding schools. This community service program in the form of socialization is carried out on the basis of collaboration between Alma Ata University Yogyakarta and Islamic Boarding Schools in the Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY) to provide socialization to students about the importance of further study to higher education in the 4.0 era. The method used is counseling or direct socialization to students. The purpose of this service is to increase the awareness and motivation of students in Islamic boarding schools on the importance of further study in higher education in the industrial revolution 4.0 era. The data collection technique was carried out after the socialization was carried out in the form of a questionnaire of interest. The results obtained showed that after the socialization, 81% of the participants were motivated to continue their further studies at universities in the industrial revolution 4.0 era.

Abstract

The use of technology in the world of education is a must where digital technology is currently an important part in supporting teaching and learning activities. Professional teachers have the obligation to plan learning, carry out quality learning processes, as well as assess and evaluate learning outcomes, so to carry out these obligations the first step a teacher must take is to design all learning tools. To improve this, it is considered important to provide workshops or training on Android-based learning media design. The workshop was carried out for one full day with details of the provision of materials, practice of making electronic applications and mentoring of participants after the workshop activities were completed. With the aim of increasing teacher competence in designing and utilizing android-based learning media in the learning process in the classroom. The workshop will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2022 at SMAN 2 Selong. The results of the workshop illustrate that participants have been able to create android-based learning media applications.

Abstract

The rapid flow of information and the free flow of communication on social media has a negative impact on today's millennial generation. The negative impact due to excessive and inappropriate use of social media is the reduction in social interaction and communication among adolescents. Based on the background of the problem regarding the declining communication skills and skills of the current millennial generation, it is necessary to carry out public speaking training activities for the millennial generation, including for teenagers in Purwakarta Regency. This public speaking training activity for youth in Purwakarta Regency has two main objectives, namely: (1) To provide conceptual knowledge about public speaking; (2) Improving practical skills about public speaking. This public speaking training activity is carried out using two methods, namely: (1) Public Speaking Sharing; (2) Public Speaking Training. Based on the implementation of the public speaking training activities, the result is that this public speaking training can build and improve communication skills for youth.
