This journal was first published in 2020 and is periodically published twice per year in June and December. Since 2020 this journal has been online. Al Muawanah: Journal of Community Service is a communication medium used by researchers, lecturers, teachers, practitioners, and students to convey information or concepts and research results that have been achieved in the field of community service. All articles published by Al Muawanah Journal will have a unique DOI number. In 2022, Al Muawanah Journal will apply for accreditation to the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia to ensure that the authors have chosen the Al Muawanah Journal as a place to publish their community service articles. The focus of this journal is a scientific multidisciplinary journal published by Pusat Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat - Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (LP2M) UIN Raden Intan Lampung. It is in the national level that covers a lot of common problems or issues related to community services. The aim of this journal publication is to disseminate the conceptual thoughts or ideas and research results that have been achieved in the area of community services. The Al Muawanah Journal aimed to gather information or concepts and the results of research that has been achieved in the field of community services. Al Muawanah Journal published the multi-disciplinary scope article, including Field of Community Studies, Technology Innovation for Village Communities, Village Community Development, Policy for Village Communities, Village government governance, and All fields related to Community Service.

Abstract

Brand Guidelines are guidelines for using an institution's brand or logo which are used as the identity of the institution and play a role in increasing institutional accountability, enhancing the positive image of the institution and supporting promotional activities. Brand guidelines contain a series of regulations regarding the meaning, philosophy, and use of a brand or logo and its application in various media, ranging from print media, electronic media, indoor media, and outdoor media. Service activities by making guidelines for the use of this brand or logo are carried out at IAIN Metro Lampung, which aims to carry out the preparation and socialization of the use of the IAIN Metro logo that is correct in size, color, shape, and precision, as well as uniform and consistent application by all IAIN academics Metro. There were 3 service sessions conducted using the ABCD (Asset Based Community Development) service research method, namely: 1). Preparation (study of case analysis, collection of required information data such as IAIN Metro STATUTE), 2). Implementation (planned regarding content layout and brand guidelines, compiling a draft of the decree as the legality of brand guidelines and dissemination of the use of brand guidelines), 3). Reporting The results of this service activity show that there are still many academics who are wrong in using the IAIN Metro logo, both in terms of terrain, size and position, this service activity received a positive response from all socialization participants and IAIN Metro institutions.

Abstract

For people who are economically disadvantaged, Legal Aid Institutions (LBH) play an important role in upholding justice and guaranteeing their access to the legal system. LBH has a very important role in ensuring that human rights enforcement and the legal system operate efficiently in an increasingly complex global context. This socialization activity was carried out by the 131 KKN team as a form of community service because there was still a lack of understanding of the importance of LBH in society. The purpose of this outreach is to provide understanding to the public about the importance of LBH in society to help uphold justice, especially for the less fortunate. This socialization activity was held at the Traditional Hall in Pekondoh Village, Way Lima District, Pesawaran Regency. The method used was to conduct outreach to the Pekondoh Village community with 31 participants. As a result, the participants or the Pekondoh Village community, understood the importance of LBH within the community.

Abstract

This research was carried out in Durian Village, Padang Cermin District, Pesawaran Regency. The focus of the study was to identify the factors contributing to juvenile delinquency. Juvenile delinquency refers to the violation of rules or laws by teenagers. The behavior exhibited can range from minor offenses like skipping school or breaking school rules, to more serious offenses such as vandalism, gang fights, and drug use. The author utilized the Qualitative Descriptive method, which involves describing the phenomena observed in the field based on the actual conditions and using problem-solving procedures that are appropriate for these conditions. The Accidental Sampling technique was used to select samples based on certain considerations that were expected to provide the most comprehensive data. The findings of this study revealed that the predominant type of juvenile delinquency in Durian Village was the use of cannabis-type drugs. The lack of parental supervision and attention, as well as the absence of religious and moral values in the children's environment, were identified as the primary causes of juvenile delinquency. Teenagers resort to drug use due to the influence of their environment and peers who engage in deviant behavior, while having limited understanding of the dangers associated with drugs. The families of adolescent drug users in Durian Village were found to be unable to provide the necessary attention, affection, and care to their children, leading the adolescents to behave as they pleased without anyone taking an interest in their actions.

Abstract

Semukuk Indah Beach is a source of regional income for the community in Pauh Tanjung Iman Village, but currently the beach rarely receives maintenance such as cleaning up rubbish and maintaining existing facilities and infrastructure. The aim of the service is to analyze the management strategy for Semukuk Indah Beach to optimize regional income and empower the people of Pauh Tanjung Iman Village. The method for the community service program implemented in Pauh Tanjung Iman Village is by coordinating and discussing with village officials and community leaders in the village both online and offline. The research results show that the management strategy for Semukuk Indah Beach to optimize regional income is carried out by promoting tourist attractions through social media, namely Tiktok and Instagram. Then, to increase the number of visitors at Semukuk Indah Beach, the beach location was repaired and cleaned so that it was clean, orderly and beautiful. Furthermore, community empowerment is carried out by maintaining the cleanliness of the beach environment by completing the necessary facilities and infrastructure such as providing trash bins

Abstract

The digital marketing engagement strategy was implemented to increase profits and branding of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Harundang Village, Cikeusal District, Serang Regency, Banten Province. Harundang Village has MSME potential in the form of opak, ceplis and papaya stick production. This Seminar activity on Digital Marketing aims to provide knowledge and open the community's insight into MSME players in optimizing the use of digital media as an effective marketing tool, so that they can expand market reach, increase interaction with consumers, and build a stronger brand image. Through collaboration between students and the Harundang Village community, this activity was carried out using the lecture method and various training and mentoring programs were implemented, including the use of social media, creative content strategies, and data analysis to understand consumer behavior. It is hoped that the results of implementing this strategy will show a significant increase in consumer engagement, sales growth, and strengthening MSME branding which will have an impact on improving the economy of the Harundang Village community. This article concludes that proper digital marketing engagement can be one of the keys to success for MSMEs in increasing competitiveness and business sustainability in the digital era.
