Focus and Scope Jurnal Perempuan dan Anak (JPA) merupakan media komunikasi dan informasi terkait dengan perempuan dan anak. JPA diterbitkan oleh Lembaga Pengkajian, Pemberdayaan Perempuan dan Anak (LP3A) Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang, sejak Januari 2013. JPA dikembangkan dengan maksud untuk mendorong peran dan perkembangan perempuan dan anak melalui publikasi hasil-hasil penelitian dan telaah kritis (review) terhadap perempuan dan anak dari berbagai aspek kajian. Abstract

Rural women are very dependent on the natural environment. However, in the majority of village resources that do not care about the role of women, increasingly increasing women's access and control of resources in the village and marginalized from the development process. Analysis of post-Indonesian Migrant Workers-Women (PMI-P) using the GIS (Geographic Information System) method and factor analysis in an effort to determine the empowerment program of Indonesian Migrant-Women Workers (PMI-P) in accordance with local wisdom. Women as housewives in addition to their role in helping husbands to find additional income for assistance are also responsible for managing the family economy. Those who survive with very affordable money can still eat well and survive. Acceptable women have an important role in efforts to increase family resilience. Based on the local wisdom of Druju Village, the researcher offers two business choices that make processed products made from batik and processed products made from corn. With the analysis of factors obtained by the results of the female respondents Druju Village prefers processing business products made from batik. Based on the empowerment capital determined by Druju Village, the strategy of empowering women workers is in accordance with the Aras Mezzo strategy, with the aim of empowering the establishment of a Joint Business Group (KUB) of processed products made from batik

Abstract

Song is a set of phrases that is accompanied by musical rhythms, contain message in the lyrics and can be sung. These days, there are many popular songs that have negative value for listeners. Conveying message about sex, love or portrayal of women is still a social debate because of cultural differences as well as rules in the environment. “Versace on the Floor” was one of the Bruno Mars’ famous song which contain sexual message in its lyrics. In this case, this study aims at discovering of students’ perception on Bruno Mars song “Versace on the Floor” about different gender regarding language used fin the song and allegedly contain elements of sex. This study used qualitative research methods to provide a detailed perspective of people about social phenomena such as culture or song. The researcher used students of University Muhammadiyah Malang as research subjects. The number of participants consisted of 20 female students and 20 male students. This research used questionnaire, interview guideline and document analysis to get data. The result indicated that most of students agreed that Bruno Mars’ song “Versace on the Floor” conveys sexual message. Both female and male students agreed that the song conveyed sexual message (female scored the greater number). However, several students thought that “Versace on the Floor” did not imply sexual message. They thought that it was a romantic song, which was expressed like having sexual message. Moreover, more than a half of the respondents (female scored greater number) thought that “Versace on the Floor” had a good melody. Moreover, the song should not be banned in Indonesia because the song was only heard as entertainment.

Abstract

Women are a significant part of every aspect of life, from a large environment to the smallest one, women are sometimes appointed as heads of a unit or organization. The role of women is increasingly felt when in a family that has a category of poverty families, the ability of women to obtain a budget, and expenditure becomes very important. Economic change is faster if women can manage income, expenses, and households well. This study analyzes the role of women in increasing income for changes in the underprivileged economy using Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) by combining secondary data review and direct observation. Strengths Weaknesses Opportunities Threats (SWOT) Analysis is used to determine the environmental conditions used by case studies when conducting research. Analysis is used to determine the relationship between income and changes in the economic level. The data used are secondary data supported by direct data collection and field collection. The number of respondents used as sample data is 145 underprivileged families in the Lawang District of Malang, which are spread across four research areas with 36 data details in zone 1, 25 data in zone 2, 21 data in zone 3, and 63 data in zone 4. Research Results show that the role of women is very important in efforts to improve the welfare of underprivileged families and analysis of the participation of changes in the relationship between increasing income with changes in the economic level of underprivileged families.

Abstract

In 2012, Indonesia was the 5th most malnourished country in the world. This rank is affected by the population of Indonesia which ranked fourth in the world. Toddler malnutrition is a hot issue in Indonesia, and it is the basis of programs that supported by goverment to remedies these problems. The number of malnourished children in Indonesia is currently around 900 thousand people. The amount is 4.5 percent of the number of Indonesian children, which is 23 million people. For this reason it is important to predict the nutritional status of children so that preventive measures can be taken to reduce the number of malnutrition status in children in Indonesia. This study aims to apply the Modified K-Nearest Neighboar (M-KNN) method to identify risk factors for toddler nutritional status. The data used in this study is a combination of two types of data sources (primary and secondary data), where the data is obtained from posyandu in Malang. This study uses anthropometric assessment variables for weight and age. The steps taken include: data input, determination of the value of k, calculating the value of validity and the value of weight voting. Furthermore, to measure the performance of the proposed method, measurement is carried out by calculating the accuracy value of the predicted results. From the results of testing with variations in the value of k obtained an accuracy value of 75% using 295 nutritional status data of toddlers, with neighbors k which is the best value of k = 4.

Abstract

The use of information technology media becomes very important when the needs are increasingly complex or schools are in the development stage because with the use of information technology media teaching and learning activities can be carried out quickly and centrally. In female boarding schools, the use of technology really needs to be considered considering the activities that are so dense both intraculricular and extracurricular activities, on the other hand, Aisyiyah Boarding School Malang High School has quite high activities outside the school, this is evidenced by the many achievements they have from the local to the national level. . At the time this research was conducted, all countries in the world were experiencing the Covid-19 pandemic and required all activities to run online, so this research was conducted to determine the use of information technology at ABSM High School to support teaching and learning activities. The variables used in the study include new desire and interest in learning, motivation and interest in learning, understanding in learning. The research method includes research assumptions and definitions, data collection, analysis of initial conditions, preparation of questionnaires, descriptive analysis. Respondents were students of class X, XI, and XII of SMA ABSM, with a total of 30 respondents who were all ABSM high school students. The results show that in general the use of information technology media can support the teaching and learning process in the school environment for both intraculricular and extracurricular activities.
