Jurnal Sains dan Teknologi Perikanan (JIKAN) merupakan jurnal ilmiah yang bertujuan sebagai sarana dalam menyebarluaskan hasil karya tulis ilmiah dalam bidang perikanan dan kelautan. Jurnal ini diterbitkan oleh Program Studi Imu Perikanan, Fakultas Sains dan Teknologi, Universitas Muhammadiyah Sidenreng Rappang. Jurnal ini diterbitkan dua kali dalam setahun, yaitu pada bulan April dan Oktober. Tulisan-tulisan yang dimuat pada jurnal ini diharapkan dapat menjadi bahan informasi dalam menunjang perkembangan penelitian mengenai perikanan dan kelautan dan menjadi masukan bagi para pelaku usaha perikanan dan kelautan serta pihak-pihak terkait. Bidang : budidaya perikanan, teknologi perikanan, sistem perikanan, sosial-ekonomi perikanan, penanganan hasil perikanan, manajemen perikanan, oseanografi perikanan, estimasi stok dan konservasi perikanan, ekominawisata dan ilmu kelautan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan melihat dosis ampas tahu terfermentasi menggunakan fermentor mikroorganisme mix yang efektif pada pakan terhadap rasio konversi pakan (fcr) udang vaname. Penelitian ini didesain dengan menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan. Perlakuan dosis ampas tahu terfermentasi dalam pakan yaitu 5, 10, 15 dan 20%. Udang dipelihara selama 60 hari dan diberikan pakan 10% bobot tubuh/hari. Pada Akhir penelitian konsentrasi cairan mikroorganisme mix terbaik untuk menghidrolisis tepung ampas tahu yaitu sebanyak 10 mL sebagai fermentor. Pakan dengan dosis ampas tahu terfermentasi tidak memberikan pengaruh terhadap rasio konversi pakan (fcr). Hasil pengukuran kualitas air selama pemeliharaan masih dapat ditolerir untuk mendukung sintasan udang Vanname.

Abstract

Knowledge of fish and fishing gear using fish behavior approaches is done to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of fishing. This study aims to determine the effect of shortening on the position of fish caught in gill nets. This research was carried out by using a flume tank with a size of 500 cm x 120 cm x 120 cm which was divided into 3 parts which were limited by waring insulation from polyethylene and nets made from PA monofilament material with treatment on shortening and hanging ratios namely using 40% and 60% shortening (hanging ratio 60% and 40%). Tilapia used in this experiment as many as 74 tails that have been measured are then placed in a maintenance tank. The experiment was carried out in 10 replications in each treatment (shortening and hanging ratio). The results showed that catching tilapia (Oreocromis niloticus) with 40% and 60% shortening with the same mesh size of 7.62 cm caught fish of different sizes. At 60% shortening fish tend to be caught gilled and have a larger size compared to fish caught on 40% shortening which ranges from 21 cm - 23.5 cm while on shortening 40% fish tend to be caught wedged and have sizes ranging from 19.10 cm - 21 cm. Percentage of bondage area to total length of tilapia on shortening was 40% greater, ranging from 4.10% - 7.14% compared to 60% shortening which ranged from 2.29% -3.48%.

Abstract

Labombo Beach as a beach tourism object saves quite a variety of attractions. Recreational beach tourism activities are the most dominant type of activity at Labombo Beach. Recreational activities utilize coastal resources such as white sand, stretches of beach, views and coastal waters. Tourism potential in Labombo Beach is fully managed by the Regional Government, both preparing the management of alternative areas with interesting objects and attractions, thus affecting the interest / motivation of visiting tourists. This study aims to describe the perceptions of tourists regarding the Labombo Coast Area in Palopo City. Sampling in this study was carried out to tourists visiting the Labombo Coast Area as many as 30 people using the accidental sampling method. Data were collected using questionnaires and analyzed through descriptive analysis. The results showed that tourists' perceptions of Labombo Beach were very good in terms of facilities, comfort, safety and natural scenery. According to visitors' perceptions of transportation facilities to Labombo Beach tourist sites is still lacking, as seen from 87% of visitors said that the transportation facilities were lacking, and as many as 13% of visitors said enough. This is due to the lack of public transportation to tourist sites, although there are public transportation such as taxis in general, the fees charged are expensive for visitors.

Abstract

Kandungan Phospat, Amoniak N-Nitrogen sangat memiliki peranan penting bagi kelangsungan hidup budidaya perikanan khusunya Udang Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingankan kandungan phospat dan n-nitrogen (amoniak, nitrat dan nitrit) pada tambak di wilayah pesisir yang tercemar dan tidak tercemar. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan data Primer dan data Sekunder. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menetukan stasiun penelitian berdasarkan karakteristik pesisir, yaitu dekat dengan tambak baik tambak yang tercemar maupun yang tidak tercemar. Analisa data menggunakan uji independent sample t-tes, kemudian dilanjutkan dengan menggunkan analisis desktriptif kuantitatif. Kadar amoniak pada tambak yang tercemar kurang dari 2 mg/l kadar nitrit pada tambak yang tercemar 0-27,86 mg/l dan untuk tambak yang tidak tercemar 0,00431, kadar nitrat pada tambak yang tercemar 0-1,7 mg/l dan tambak yang tidak tercemar 0,00875. Kadar phospat pada tambak yang tercemar 0,11-0,35 mg/l sedangkan pada tambak yang tidak tercemar 0,494. Secara umum kadar phospat dan N-nitrogen pada tambaktercemar dan tidak tercemar menunjukan perbedaan yang sangat jauh, tetapi dibandingkan dengan PP no. 82 tahun 2001, kadar amoniak dan nitrit masih berada diatas ambang batas normal.

Abstract

The vast Indonesian sea holds a lot of marine fishery potential that can be utilized by the Indonesian people. In the sea there is the potential for marine resources in the form of fisheries. The Indonesian sea has a large number of sustainable potential, namely 6.4 million tons per year. Skipjack tuna is one of the main targets in fishing activities. One of the Cakalang producing areas in Indonesia is the Fishery Management Area (WPP) 713. WPP-713 is a potential water area in Eastern Indonesia. This study aims to provide a basic overview of Skipjack fishery production in Indonesia and WPP-713. The results of this study indicate that the production value and price of Skipjack tuna in Indonesia has increased from 2005 – 2015. In 2015, the Cakalang price reached IDR 18,164 and a production value of ± IDR 7.54 trillion. Meanwhile, in WPP-713 the average catch production of skipjack tuna shows an increase of 11.4%.

Abstract

The results of the analysis using GIS software produce a thematic map of land suitability for lobster culture of the Karamba Floating Nets system with the suitability category obtained by adding up the values ​​of all parameters to get the final score so that the values ​​obtained between classes (Ci) are obtained. The Ci value obtained was 0.7 with a maximum Result Score (SHB) score of 3.0 and a minimum value of 0.8. The suitability category is determined based on the range or class interval where the corresponding criteria (S) are in the class interval 1.6 - 3.0 and the criteria does not match (N) based on the SHB interval 0.8 - 1.5. The results of the suitability evaluation conducted in this study are the actual suitability or land suitability, where the resulting land suitability class is only based on available data, not considering social, economic, financial, and other aspects. The results of the land suitability analysis based on the suitability matrix of the merging results for the lobster culture of the KJA system obtained the appropriate criteria (S) of 71.06 ha and not suitable (N) of 89.15 ha.
