Abstract

The purpose of the study to determine the dosage of phosphate rock fertilizer to enhance growth Combretocarpus rotundatus Miq with arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi inoculated. Seedbed experiment using factorial completely randomized design with three replications. Observations were made on seedling age perepat 14 weeks after weaning, including: height, diameter, leaf number, and for shoot dry weight, P uptake of plants after harvest. Experimental tests on C.rotundatus Miq and phosphat fertilizer inoculated with arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi to prove that the dose of phosphate rock 100 ppm was the best increase C.rotundatus Miq growth in the nursery. Abstract

The parameters of color change zone and color darkness level are affected by the treatment of screw deepthness. The parameter of fragrant level is also affected by treatment of screw deepthness. The treatment of screw deepthness (1,54 cm) is the best, then screw deepthness 1,27 cm and screw deepthness 1 cm respectively. The parameter of terpenoid content is significantly affected by interaction of treatment screw deepthness and giving etepon. Treatment combination of etepon concentration 1,.5% and screw deepthness 1 cm is the best to give terpenoid content value (1,266). Keywords : Mechanical treatment, Etilen, Terpenoid

Abstract

Bamboo is multipurpose plant widely used for many purposes. One of problem in the utilization of bamboo is dimensional change caused by difference of relative humidity. Hence, to overcome this problem is used dimensional stabilization to decrease shrinkage and increase the quality of bamboo. The purpose of this study is to know the effect of bamboo species and concentration of urea stabilizer against tangential and radial shrinkage, Anti Shrink Efficiency (ASE) and ratio of tangential and radial shrinkage (T/R ratio). The bamboo investigated are Gigantochloa apus and Dendrocalamus asper using bulking method at 20%, 40% and 60% urea concentration. Results of the study showed that interaction between bamboo species and urea consentration was very significant effect against tangential and radial shrinkage and Anti Shrink Efficiency (ASE). G. apus stabilized in 20% urea concentration and D. asper stabilized in 60% urea concentration gived lower shrinkage and high tangential and radial of Anti Shrink Efficiency with criteria of dimensional stability was very successful. G. apus had higher dimensional stability than D. asper. Keywords : Bamboo, Dimensional stabilization, Shrinkage, Anti Shrink Efficiency

Abstract

The herbal farm is comfortable with people need trend to consumpt by back to nature. This research aims to know income and profit of the herbal farm, income contribution on farmer income and feasibility of herbal farm on agroforestry system. The method used descriptif analyze by sample survey approach where is the location was defined by purpossive sampling and there are 70 sample of farmer was taken by simple random sampling. The Data was analized by using cost, income and profit analyzing. In addition it was used by return cost ratio (R/C) analyzing and income contribution analyzing. The result show that income of herbal farm is Rp. 2.255.064, - or 39 percent of total farmer income. The profit is Rp. 1.853.719,-. Based on return the cost analyzing and break event point, herbal farm is feasible and profitabel to be developed. Keywords : Herbal farm, agroforestry, income, feasible

Abstract

Watershed is a complex mega-system, and to manage it in an integrated manner requires a systematic method in searching the root problem. Root cause analysis method (Root Cause Analysis /RCA) is a systematic approach to obtain the real root causes of the complex problems. Determination of the exact root of the problem is key to have a good quality resource management planning. Identification results show that the major issues facing in Palung Watershed is a conflict water resources management. While the negative conditions (Undisired Effects) found in this watershed are limited availability of water resources, weak coordination between sectors, the inefficient pattern of water resources utilization, weak implementation in law enforcement and landuse changing in the region from upstream to downstream. The results of the RCA analysis shows that the problems faced by the Palung Watershed is not caused olny by natural resource degradation and injustice of distribution, but mailny caused by lack of economic activities which is heavily influenced by the educational and cultural aspects. Keywords : Root Cause Analysis, Watersheed, Palung, East Lombok
