Abstract

The first 1000 days of life are critical times in the child's growth and development stage. Nutrition and stimulation received by infants have a long-term impact on life during adulthood. Baby spa is a form of stimulation that combines baby massage and swimming which has many benefits for babies. The purpose of this study was to determine changes in body weight of infants aged 6-12 months before and after getting a baby spa. The design of the study was comparative analytic, with a prospective approach. The study population of 35 infants using accidental sampling technique obtained a sample of 32 infants aged 6-12 months who met the inclusion criteria. The research instrument used baby weight scales. Data analysis using paired t test. The results showed that there was a change in body weight of infants aged 6-12 months before and after receiving a baby spa with an average body weight before baby spa 8092.19 grams to 8673.44 grams after 2 treatments (p value <0.001). Baby spas can increase vagus nerve tone (10th brain nerve) which causes an increase in the levels of the enzyme absorption of gastrin and insulin, so that food absorption will be better and can increase the baby's weight. A baby spa with regular frequency is needed to maximize the growth and development of the baby. Keywords: Baby Weight, Baby Spa

Abstract

Mother's concern before pregnancy to check her nutritional status is still very lacking, this will result in the undetectability of nutritional problems experienced by mothers, such as anemia and chronic energy deficiency. The study aimed to determine the attitudes of pregnant women about antenatal care using the Maternal Cycle Simulation media. The design of this study was pre-experimental with One Group Pre-Test-Post Test design. The sample used was pregnant women aged 22-28 weeks who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria of 27 people with simple random sampling technique. Health education was carried out in three meetings, including pretest and provision of media Maternal Cycle Simulation, explanation of media use, demonstration of media use, re-demonstration by pregnant women using media, re-examination and monitoring using media, and posttest. The results showed 74% of mothers had a negative attitude in antenatal care at the time of the pretest and there was a decrease in the negative attitude rate to 15% after receiving the Maternal Cycle Simulation media with a p value <0.001, which means there was an influence of the use of the Maternal Cycle Simulation media towards the attitude of pregnant women about antenatal care care. Abstract

The presence of health cadres in early detection of high risk pregnancies is important to identify possible complications of pregnant women. Not all cadres have the skills in early detection of high-risk pregnancies. In this case, it is necessary to make efforts to increase knowledge and skills through training in filling out the Poedji Rochjati Score Card. The aim of the study was to determine the effect of training in filling out pregnancy risk assessments on the skills of posyandu cadres in early detection of high-risk pregnancies. The pre-experimental research design used the one group pretest-posttest design approach, with a population of all Posyandu cadres in Ampeldento. The sampling used a total sampling technique with a sample size of 30 respondents. The research instrument used the Poedji Rochjati Scorecard and checklist. Data analysis used the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. The results showed that there was an effect of training in filling out pregnancy risk assessments on the skills of Posyandu cadres in early detection of high-risk pregnancies (p value <0.001 with Z score -4.630). Cross-program and sectoral coordination is needed in implementing cadre skills in early detection of risky pregnancies. Keywords: Pregnancy Risk Assessment Training, Early Detection of Risk Pregnancy

Abstract

Complications that need to occur in pregnant women and need to be done is preeclampsia. From 2012 to 2016, pre-eclampsia was ranked as the first cause of AKI in East Java, the case of preeclampsia in 2016 was 30.90% (1). In Jember in 2015 there were 31 cases of preeclampsia deaths. Data from the Ajung Puskesmas (2017) were 45 preeclampsia cases from January to September. A preliminary study of 10 preeclampsia TM III pregnant women, using a structured interview method, obtained 6 mothers undergoing routine checks with a record of 3 mothers achieving success but not yet performing optimally. The purpose of this research is to make a model of health promotion for midwives in pregnant women with Trimester III preeclampsia based on the Change Phase. The design of this study is quasi-experimental. Sampling using simple random sampling technique totaling 75 respondents. R&D research. Instrument questionnaire sheet. Obtained differences after being given bidkes based on the stage of change. Statistical test analysis with the value of Pre Conteplation Z count (-7,022)> Z Table 0.05 (1.96) so that Ho is rejected, the value of Pre Conteplation is increasing, Hi Conteplation Z count (-6,244)> Z Table 0.05 (1 , 96) so that it can quickly increase the value of increased conteplation. Preparation Stage Calculated Z values ??(-7,253)> Z Table 0.05 (1.96) Ho is rejected the value of increasing contemplation. Action stage Z count (-6,304)> Z Table 0.05 (1.96) so that Ho is rejected the value of Conteplation increases. Changing the behavior of preeclampsia requires a health promotion model that is informed according to policy level. Keywords: Preeclampsia Pregnant Women, Promotion Model, Stage of Change

Abstract

Hepatitis B is an infectious disease that is a major health problem in the world, including in Indonesia. This disease can attack pregnant women and can affect the fetus they are carrying. This study aims to identify the chance of hepatitis B incidence based on the characteristics of pregnant women with HBsAg positive at dr. H. Koesnadi Bonsowoso. This research is a descriptive quantitative analytic study, with a population of HBsAg Positive pregnant women in 2019 with a sample size of 76 mothers who were taken using a total sampling technique. Collecting data using secondary data from the medical records of dr. H Koesnadi Bondowoso. The results showed that the characteristics of pregnant women with positive HBsAg had the highest chance in the age group 20-34 years (82.9%), mothers who do not work (75%), husbands who work as private employees (40.8%), mothers who do not have a history of surgery (82.9%), and in multigravidas (64.5%), it is concluded that mothers aged 20-34 years, do not work, have no history of surgery, are multigravida, and have husbands who work as private employees have a high chance of getting Hepatitis B in pregnancy. Screening efforts for pregnant women are needed to reduce the risk of transmission from mother to fetus. Pre-pregnancy screening efforts also need to be done on husband and wife to reduce the risk of transmission between partners. Keywords: Hepatitis B, HBsAg, Characteristics of Pregnant Women

Abstract

Use of contraception plays an important role in reducing maternal mortality, especially for high risk fertile age women (FAW), but from several surveys the frequency of use of non-long-term contraceptive methods (non LCM) is still more dominant. Internal factors that play a role in decision-making behavior in the use of contraceptive methods are self efficacy. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of self efficacy with the use of contraceptive methods in high risk FAW. Analytic survey research design with cross sectional approach, with a population of 222 respondents, sampling using simple random sampling technique with a sample size of 56 respondents. The research instrument used a questionnaire. Data analysis used Yate’s Correction test. The results showed there was a relationship between self efficacy and the use of contraceptive methods at high risk FAW (p value 0.046), so it was concluded that the higher the self efficacy then FAW would choose the LCM method. Integrated efforts are needed to change the belief that high-risk FAW has a higher risk of complications, so it is necessary to use the non LCM contraception to prepare for a healthy pregnancy. Abstract

Pregnancy is a natural process, but on the way it does not rule out danger signs in pregnancy. Not all pregnant women and their families understand the danger signs of pregnancy. To increase the understanding of mothers and the public about the danger signs of pregnancy, researchers will develop the art of gamelan by including messages about pregnancy danger signs. The research design used was an experiment with a pretest-post test control group design. The research subjects were 60 pregnant women who were taken by simple random sampling and divided into the control group and the treatment group. Data were collected using a pregnancy danger sign questionnaire, then analyzed using an independent sample test. The results showed that before being given the treatment, 17 out of 30 pregnant women had an understanding in the sufficient category and after being given treatment using the art of gamelan 20 mothers had a good understanding. The results of the independent sample test showed that the Javanese gamelan art media was effective in increasing the mother's understanding of the danger signs of pregnancy (p value 0.001). Gamelan music containing danger signs lyrics can be used as a medium to convey messages about pregnancy danger signs to pregnant women and the public. By using the media of gamelan music, there is a tendency to be able to increase the understanding of pregnant women about the danger signs of pregnancy ranging from moderate to good categories.
