Abstract

The aim of this research is to design and implement the chatbot system "Universitas Teknologi Sumbawa Infomatrix", which by utilizing the capabilities of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Natural Language Processing (NLP) produces an interactive and efficient platform for students, facilitating access to comprehensive information about the university and helping makes it easier for students to get the right information to support their academic process on campus. Built web-based chatbot application, developed using the PHP programming language with the Laravel framework, integrated with a MySQL database, and utilizing Dialogflow cloud integration for machine and user conversation chat systems. This research methodology follows Angie Method and in system design, uses a structured design method that combines Context Diagrams, Data Flow Diagram (DFD), and Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD). The system testing uses a beta testing approach. With the presence of this Institutional Chatbot Application, it can make it easier for students to obtain UTS university data and information and become an effort to increase involvement at Sumbawa University of Technology through AI-based interactions.

Abstract

The MySQL database system is one of the database systems that is widely used in the world, both for personal and corporate purposes. However, the increasing number of cyber attacks occurring on database systems makes it increasingly important to secure data security in database systems. Cyber attacks can be via SQL Injection or hacking via connection commands to the database using the application whose database you want to hack. This is the focus of the problem, so it is necessary to secure connections to the database using cryptographic algorithms. This research aims to improve the security of the MySQL database system by implementing the Caesar Cipher cryptography technique and the Stout Codes compression technique in connection commands to the database via a client application built using the Visual Basic programming language. The testing method used in this research is experimental, where the MySQL database system is tested using ordinary connection commands and connection commands that have been encrypted with the Caesar Cipher algorithm and the Stout Sodes algorithm. The test results show that the use of the Caesar Cipher and Stout Codes crypto-compression systems can increase the security of the MySQL database system by making access difficult for unauthorized parties with a success percentage of 100%. Thus, it is hoped that this research can contribute to improving the security of the MySQL database system which is currently increasingly vulnerable to cyber attacks

Abstract

Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) poses a serious threat to public health, caused by the Dengue virus transmitted through Aedes aegypti or Aedes albopictus mosquitoes. DHF can affect individuals of all age groups, especially children, with a mortality rate reaching 25% among children, as noted by the World Health Organization (WHO). Despite a decrease in DHF cases in 2020, the numbers remain high, presenting a significant issue in Indonesia, particularly in Kota Medan. RSUD Dr. PIRNGADI in Kota Medan is one of the hospitals addressing DHF cases. The primary challenge faced is the substantial increase in DHF patients in 2020, leading to a decrease in the effectiveness of patient care and an accumulation of administrative registration issues. Currently, there is no specific predictive system or research on DHF at RSUD Dr. PIRNGADI. This research aims to integrate the Naïve Bayes Algorithm and a website for early detection of DHF at RSUD Dr. PIRNGADI. Data on DHF symptoms are collected through patient medical records, and the Naïve Bayes Algorithm is employed to predict the likelihood of DHF. The detection system will be linked to an API and integrated into the RSUD Dr. PIRNGADI website, enabling users to conduct online DHF detection by entering patient symptoms. With this research, the goal is to contribute to enhancing the management of DHF cases at RSUD Dr. PIRNGADI, improving the efficiency of patient care, and providing a solution for the increasing number of DHF cases. The findings of this research can also serve as a foundation for developing similar systems in other hospitals and contribute to more effective efforts in preventing and controlling DHF

Abstract

− A cooperative is a business entity consisting of individuals or cooperative legal entities that bases its activities on cooperative principles as a people's economic movement based on the principle of kinship. Primkop Kosek I Medan focuses on selling basic necessities and other materials to cooperative members through minimarket sales called Airforce Mart Kosek I Medan. Primkop Kosek I Medan's operational handling still uses book recording and recording on office computer applications such as Microsoft Excel. This causes problems such as inaccurate data recording and requiring a long time to search for data. The aim of this research is to design and build an application to help process data at Primkop Airforce Mart Kosek I Medan using the Design Thinking method. This application prototype was successfully implemented well where users easily operated the application and were able to manage goods and sales data at Airforce Mart Kosek I Medan so that users could more easily obtain sales results data and goods inventory data.

Abstract

Dengue fever is an infectious disease caused by the dengue virus and transmitted through the bites of Aedes aegepty and Aedes albopictus mosquitoes. Naive Bayes is a simple probabilistic classifier that calculates a set of probabilities by summing the frequency and combination of values from a given dataset. In this study, we will analyze dengue hemorrhagic fever disease data using the naive bayes method using 9 variables. This expert system application to diagnose dengue disease is made with a web-based application, so that it can be accessed by the public at large, besides that this application can also help medics to make decisions in diagnosing dengue disease. From the results of the study, the use of the Naïve Bayes method in this application is due to the results of the probability of the accuracy value of the Naïve Bayes method which is close to the accuracy of the experts. In this study, 3 experiments were conducted using 4 test data and the results showed that based on the three experiments, the accuracy value ranged from 96% to 97%, indicating that the classification accuracy had a small error value. So that classification using Naïve Bayes in this study can be applied to determine the classification of dengue hemorrhagic fever incidence.
