Abstract

Schools introduce the health to students, it should not be too difficult because each school have a School Health Enterprise (UKS). The Clean and Healthy Behaviour (PHBS) is the spearhead for health development in order to improve people's healthy living behavior. PHBS efforts if not carried out by each family and family members will be a risk factor for disease, both infectious or non-communicable diseases. How to apply the PHBS indicator at the household level, at school, at work, in public places and other places, of course depends very much on the awareness and active participation of the community in their respective neighborhoods. The population is students of Sultan Agung Semarang Islamic Junior High School. There are 13 classes with different number of its students, so sample size is determined by proportional stratified random sampling so that they can represent each class. The data is obtained by filling out the questionnaires and observed by checklist.. The results of the study showed that respondents stated that they followed the rules of the school as many as 60 respondents or 75%. Most respondents in doing PHBS were influenced by friends as many as 53 respondents or 66.22%. Conclusion is there are no relationship between the regulations and influence of friends with PHBS behavior

Abstract

The postpartum period is a transition period for the mother, baby and family physiologically, emotionally and socially. The low quality of health services can lead to low success in health promotion and early detection and adequate management of problems from diseases that arise in the postpartum period. The aim of the study was to described the counseling obtained by postpartum mother at the fourth postpartum visit. This study uses a descriptive method, with a survey approach. The population was all post-partum mothers who received the fourth postpartum attendance in the area in Public Health Care of Rowosari 0I. The number of samples was 34 respondents. The sampling technique used saturated samples. The results showed that the counseling was obtained at the fourth postpartum visit was still based on the complication history of the puerperium period which was still not good (76.47%), and based on family planning counseling that was still not good (79.41%). The midwives should assessing the mother complications and providing family planning counseling

Abstract

The birth process is to help and encourage safe and healthy births for mothers and babies, so that the roles and responsibilities of health workers are needed to anticipate and overcome the complications that occur in labor. Prolong labor is one of the factors that influence maternal mortality. The result of the Survey on 2015 is Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) is 305 per 100,000 live births in Indonesia. The rebozo technique is a non-pharmacological method that makes the muscles of the pelvis more relaxed and gives the pelvic space more space and  open so that it helps accelerate the opening of the cervix and help descending of the fetal head, so that can help shorten the time of delivery. The aim of the study was determined the differences in the effectiveness of the rebozo technique on cervical dilatation and descend of the fetal head in active phase of first stage in labor mothers. Methodology of this study was Quasy experimental design. It take pre-post test on one group design. Population and sample were 20 primigravidas mothers in active phase of the first stage of labor. Sampling technique used accidental sampling. The result of this study that there was effectiveness of rebozo technique on opening of the cervix during the active phase with p-value 0.012. Conclusion is there was an effectiveness of the rebozo technique for descending of fetal head in the active phase of the first stage of maternal delivery with p-value 0.028

Abstract

One of the symptoms and signs of disease in female reproductive organs is vaginal discharge. Wrong personal hygiene behavior can cause itching in the vulva, vaginal discharge to an unpleasant odor in the female area. Teenagers are indeed a large group, vulnerable and at risk of reproductive health problems. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between knowledge about personal hygiene with the behavior of preventing whiteness vaginal discharge in young women in Karang Taruna RW 2, Hamlet Village, Cipari District, Cilacap Regency. This study used a cross sectional design. The population is teenage girls aged 16-18 years as many as 30 people. The study use total sampling technique. Result of this study was most respondents were 16 years old (57.1%), Most of the personal hygiene knowledge is sufficient 11 respondents (36.7%), most of the positive behavior of young women in preventing vaginal discharge is 29 respondents (96,7%). There is a significant relationship between the knowledge of personal hygiene with the behavior of prevention of whiteness vaginal discharge (p value 0.01). It means there is a relationship between the two variables. Suggestions in this study is the female teenagers is expected to increase the provision of information on personal hygiene and vaginal discharge prevention for young women and the community

Abstract

Family planning is an effort to create a quality of family by regulating the birth of children, the ideal distance and age of childbirth, and regulating pregnancy. One of the contraceptives that are less attractive to couples of childbearing age is the Alat Kontrasepsi Dalam Rahim (AKDR). Health education with video media can be done as an effort to increase the use of AKDR contraception. Theory of Planned Behavior states that a behavior begins with the formation of attitudes and intentions. This study used an quasi experimental study with non equivalent control group design on attitude variables and static group comparison on intention variables. Data analysis used paired t test on attitude and chi square on intention. The results of the study that health education with video media effectively increases attitudes in the used of AKDR with p value = 0.00 (p value 0.005) with video media more effective 4.75 higher than leaflet media, while health education with video media was not effective in increasing the intention to used an AKDR with p value = 0.269
