The background of this journal is the victim children of marriage disharmony that made their cognitive development not optimal in communication and actualization even can lead to being a false personality. This journal has the purpose to make a model of Cognitive Behavior Therapy based on the Bible and to see the implementation of Cognitive Behavior Therapy based on the Bible to depression children in River Life Community Binh Duong, Vietnam. Use qualitative method by literature study, observation, and interview for data collection and analysis. This journal succeeds to model an approach to Cognitive Behavior Therapy based on Bible and has a proven implementation in the River Life Community to change the lives of many depressed children to be confident and faithful children. AbstrakPenelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kondisi anak yang sering menjadi korban ketidakharmonisan rumah tangga, yang mengakibatkan pertumbuhan kognitif seorang anak tidak optimal dalam berkomunikasi dan mengaktualisasikan permikiran bahkan dapat menjadi pribadi yang putus asa. Penelitian ini bertujuan membentuk model pendekatan konseling perilaku kognitif berbasis Alkitab dan mengetahui implementasi pendekatan konseling perilaku kognitif berbasis Alkitab terhadap anak yang mengalami keputusasaan hidup di River Life Community, Binh Duong, Vietnam. Penelitian dilakukan secara kualitatif berdasarkan kepustakaan, observasi, dan wawancara. Hasil penelitan memberikan bentuk model konseling dengan pendekatan perilaku kognitif berbasis Alkitab dan keberhasilan pemanfaatan konseling dengan pendekatan perilaku kognitif berbasis Alkitab di River Life Community dalam mengubah keputusasaan anak menjadi anak yang berpengharapan dan percaya diri.

Pentecostal-Charismatic Leadership has often drawn criticism from controversy, and many have negative nuances. However, this leadership has dynamic strength which its character, and it must be realized by many parties. The purpose of the discussion in this article is to show the characteristics of Pentecostal-Charismatic leadership through the modeling shown by Daniel. With a qualitative approach and using a descriptive interpretive analysis method in the passage of Daniel 6: 4, the result is that Daniel's charismatic leadership is indicated by the phrase "extraordinary spirit". In conclusion, Pentecostal-Charismatic leadership must be characterized by the work or manifestation of the Holy Spirit within the leader, so as to make the leader have an extraordinary spirit, as the quality or value of his leadership.AbstrakKepemimpinan Pentakosta-Karismatik seringkali menuai kritik kontroversi, dan tidak sedikit yang bernuansa negatif. Namun demikian kepemimpinan ini memiliki kekuatan yang dinamis yang menjadi karakteristiknya, dan harus disadari oleh banyak pihak. Tujuan pembahasan da-lam artikel ini adalah untuk menunjukkan karakteristik kepemimpinan Pentakosta-Karismatik yang melalui permodelan yang ditunjukkan oleh Daniel. Dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan menggunakan metode deskriptif analisis interpretatif pada nas Daniel 6:4, maka diperoleh hasil bahwa kepemimpinan karismatik Daniel ditunjukkan oleh frasa “roh yang luar biasa”. Kesim-pulannya, kepemimpinan Pentakostal-Karismatik haruslah dikarakterisasi oleh pekerjaan atau manifestasi Roh Kudus dalam diri pemimpinnya, sehingga membuat pemimpin tersebut memili-ki roh yang luar biasa, sebagai kualitas atau nilai kepemimpinannya.

Memahami Penolakan Soteorologi Gnostik oleh Gereja Perdana Eduward Purba

Gnostics are synchronic character ideas from a variety of Hellenistic types of beliefs and philosophies that try to influence early Christian salvation theology. The infiltration effort has opportunities because of: the cultural context of the missionary and recipient of the gospel, the decline of the Church of Jewish background, the emergence of Jewish Diaspora, the use of Hellenic terms in the New Testament and by the Early Church. This research is qualitative research literature. Researchers collected data by determining the qualifications of Gnostic library sources, both from Gnostic sources themselves and from Christian theologians. The steps taken are recording findings, combining all findings, both theories or new findings of Gnostic soteriology, analyzing findings, and finally criticizing Gnostic ideas. The results found that gnosis was the first condition in Gnostic soteriology that produced catharsis as a way of releasing divine sparks from the body with variations in business such as fasting, monasticism, torturing oneself until the legalization of murder. So, in the Gnostic idea, the principle of traditional Christian salvation has no place at all. In conclusion, ownership of gnosis by understanding the importance of releasing the spirit or divine spark from the body is a major condition in Gnostic soteriology. On this basis, the early Church rejected this gnostic idea because it was considered very speculative and heretical. AbstrakGnostik merupakan gagasan berkarakter sinkritis dari variasi tipe keyakinan dan filsafat Helenistik yang berusaha memengaruhi teologi keselamatan Kristen perdana. Usaha infiltrasi memiliki peluang karena konteks budaya pekabar dan penerima Injil, kemunduran jemaat berlatarbelakang Yahudi, kemunculan Yahudi diaspora, penggunaan istilah-istilah Helenis da-lam Perjanjian Baru dan oleh gereja perdana. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif literatur. Peneliti mengumpulkan data dengan menentukan kualifikasi sumber pustaka Gnostik, baik dari sumber Gnostik sendiri dan dari teolog Kristen. Langkah yang dilakukan yaitu men-catat temuan, memadukan segala temuan, baik teori atau temuan baru tentang soteriologi Gnostik, menganalisis temuan, terakhir mengkritisi gagasan Gnostik. Hasil yang ditemukan bahwa gnosis syarat pertama dalam soteriologi Gnostik yang menghasilkan katarsis sebagai cara melepaskan percikan ilahi dari tubuh dengan variasi usaha seperti puasa, monastik, menyiksa diri sampai legalisasi pembunuhan. Sehingga dalam gagasan Gnostik, prinsip keselamatan Kristen tradisional tidak memiliki tempat sama sekali. Kesimpulannya, bahwa kepemilikan gnosis dengan memahami pentingnya melepaskan roh atau percikan Ilahi dari tubuh merupakan syarat utama dalam soteriologi Gnostik. Atas dasar ini gereja perdana menolak gagasan Gnostik ini karena dianggap sangat spekulatif dan sesat.

Lately the topic of "grace" has also become a discussion and debate which is being discussed in the church environment. The term is also commonly called "modern grace" or "grace reform". The term is used by a number of teachers or characters in explaining their theological understanding of grace which they consider to be a new revelation of grace. The teaching of the gospel of grace does not refer to a particular church, but rather to theological teaching or understanding that is spreading very quickly to various churches throughout the world. There are some figures who write a number of books in their books describing the gospel teaching of grace, some of which are well-known and influential are Paul Ellis, Joseph Prince, Steve McVey, Clark Whitten and other gospel instructors of grace. Joseph Prince cannot be denied as one of these "grace" teachers who also influences the views of Christians in Singapore, America and Indonesia. AbstrakBelakangan ini topik mengenai “anugerah” (grace) juga menjadi diskusi dan perdebatan yang marak dibicarakan di lingkungan gereja. Istilahnya biasa juga disebut “kasih karunia modern” atau “Reformasi kasih karunia”. Istilah tersebut digunakan oleh sejumlah pengajar atau tokoh dalam menjelaskan pemahaman teologi mereka mengenai kasih karunia yang mereka anggap sebagai pewahyuan baru mengenai kasih karunia. Pengajaran tentang injil kasih karunia bukan merujuk kepada suatu gereja tertentu, tetapi lebih kepada pengajaran atau pemahaman teologi yang sedang merebak dengan sangat cepat ke berbagai gereja di seluruh dunia. Ada beberapa tokoh yang menulis sejumlah buku yang di dalam buku mereka menjelaskan pengajaran injil kasih karunia, beberapa diantaranya yang terkenal dan berpengaruh adalah Paul Ellis, Joseph Prince, Steve McVey, Clark Whitten dan pengajar injil kasih karunia lainnya. Tidak dapat disangkal Joseph Prince sebagai salah satu pengajar “anugerah” ini yang juga mempengaruhi pandangan orang-orang Kristen di Singapura, Amerika dan Indonesia.

This research discusses Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender and pastoral services carried out by the church in helping people to know God's Love. In this study, the author examines pastoral care to deal with lesbian gay bisexual transgender in the Jemaat Kristen Indonesia Oikos Pelangi Kasih church. With descriptive qualitative research method using literature review and field data. Perform well the function guiding, supporting function, healing function, restoring function and maintenance function will really help the lesbian gay bisexual transgender people to experience recovery and know the truth of God’s word. AbstrakPenelitian ini membahas seputar Lesbian, Gay, Bisex, Transgender dan pelayanan pastoral yang dilakukan oleh gereja dalam menolong orang-orang untuk mengalami kasih Tuhan. Pada pene-litian ini, penulis meneliti tentang pelayanan pastoral untuk menangani kaum lesbian, gay, bisex, transgender di Gereja Jemaat Kristen Indonesia Oikos Pelangi Kasih. Dengan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif menggunakan kajian pustaka dan data lapangan. Indonesia has begun to enter the Industrial 4.0 era. Preparation of resources must be started early to face this implementation. The adoption of Industry 4.0 causes significant changes in technology, ways of thinking, and social and economic structures. These changes will certainly affect the church in its main task of carrying out God's mission in Indonesia. The church must prepare from now on and not wait for the implementation of Industry 4.0 to affect the church. The purpose of this paper is to provide an understanding of the challenges that occur and the transformation strategies that need to be applied by the church. The transformation carried out will enable the church to read and act accordingly when the Industrial 4.0 era is fully implemented (fast and agile capability). This study uses a narrative analysis method by looking at the challenges faced and implementing the right strategy from a complete perspective. As a result, God's mission remains the same but with the right strategy so that it can be applied in carrying out missions in the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0.AbstrakIndonesia mulai memasuki era Industri 4.0. Persiapan sumber daya harus dimulai semenjak dini untuk menghadapi penerapan ini. Penerapan Industri 4.0 menyebabkan terjadinya perubahan dalam teknologi, cara berpikir, serta struktur sosial dan ekonomi yang signifikan. Perubahan tersebut dipastikan akan mempengaruhi gereja dalam tugas utamanya menjalankan misi Allah di Indonesia. Gereja harus mempersiapkan diri semenjak sekarang dan tidak menunggu penerapan Industri 4.0 akan mempengaruhi gereja. Tujuan tulisan ini memberikan pemahaman tantangan yang terjadi dan strategi transformasi yang perlu diterapkan oleh gereja. Transformasi yang dilakukan akan menjadikan gereja mampu membaca dan bertindak menyesuaikan diri di saat era Industri 4.0 diterapkan secara penuh (fast and agile capability). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis naratif dengan melihat tantangan yang dihadapi dan penerapan strategi yang tepat dari sudut pandang yang utuh. Hasilnya, misi Allah tetap sama namun dengan strategi yang tepat sehingga dapat diterapkan dalam melakukan misi di era revolusi Industri 4.0.

This paper aims to describe the religion of the Israelite ancestors. The problem discussed in this paper is which God the Israelite ancestors worshiped. The approach is to analyze several sources of the Old Testament relating to Israelite religion. Even though the three Semitic religions of Judaism, Christianity and Islam worship the same God "El/ Allah", that does not mean that all three teachings are the same. The teachings are different because the beliefs of the three are based on tradition and the scriptures (which are considered each as a revelation) are different about the same 'El / Allah'. AbstrakTulisan ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan religi para bapak leluhur Israel. Masalah yang dibahas dalam tulisan ini adalah Tuhan manakah yang disembah para bapak leluhur Israel. Pendekatannya adalah menganalisis beberapa sumber Perjanjian Lama berkaitan dengan agama Israel. Sekalipun ketiga agama Semitik Yahudi, Kristen dan Islam menyembah Tuhan El/Allah yang sama, itu tidak berarti bahwa semua pengajaran/aqidah ketiganya sama. Pengajaran/aqidah berbeda karena kepercayaan ketiganya didasarkan tradisi dan kitab suci (yang dianggap masing-masing sebagai wahyu) berbeda mengenai El/Allah yang sama itu.

God's love for the world is the basis for the commandment to make every nation a disciple of Christ. This was emphasized by Christ when He said, “Make disciples of all nations.” The Boti tribe in NTT is part of the target of God's love. They must hear the gospel that will save. The formulation of the problem is what must be done by the evangelist to be able to carry out this great command, especially to the Boti tribe in NTT. The method to answer this problem formulation is to use a qualitative approach by collecting several journals, books, and Bible verses related to the formulation of the problem, especially the Apostle Paul's evangelistic approach, then look for similarities that allow answering this research problem. Contextual evangelism by using elements of local culture is the answer to evangelizing the Boti tribe, thus the gospel can be accepted and transform the lives of the Boti tribe. AbstrakKasih Allah kepada dunia menjadi dasar perintah untuk menjadikan setiap bangsa murid Kristus. Hal ini ditegaskan oleh Yesus ketika Ia berkata, “Jadikanlah semua bangsa murid-Ku.” Suku Boti di NTT adalah bagian dari sasaran kasih Allah. Mereka harus mendengar Injil yang akan menyelamatkan. Rumusan masalahnya adalah, apakah yang harus dilakukan oleh pem-berita Injil untuk dapat melaksanakan perintah agung ini, khususnya kepada suku Boti di NTT. Metode untuk menjawab rumusan masalah ini adalah menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan cara mengumpulkan beberapa data literatur melalui jurnal, buku, dan nas Alkitab yang berkaitan dengan rumusan masalah, khususnya pendekatan penginjilan Rasul Paulus, kemudian mencari kesamaannya yang memungkinkan bisa menjawab masalah penelitian ini. Penginjilan kontekstual dengan menggunakan elemen-elemen budaya setempat menjadi jawaban untuk melakukan penginjilan kepada kepada suku Boti, dengan demikian Injil dapat diterima dan mentransformasi kehidupan suku Boti.

This paper is intended to describe the psychological dynamics of adolescents living in orphanages. How are the psychological dynamics of adolescents in living their adolescence without direct guidance and affection from their parents. This study uses a qualitative approach with phenomenological methods. From the results of this study, it was concluded that there were significant differences in the psychological dynamics of adolescents living in orphanages because they had to be entrusted by parents with adolescents living in an orphanage because of their own desires. Psychologically, adolescents who are forced to live in orphanages tend to close themselves off from their environment. Meanwhile, adolescents who live in homes because of their own desires, they tend to be more open to their environment. In addition, the age factor when they enter the orphanage environment also affects their psychological dynamics. Those who enter the orphanage when they are children tend to be more adaptable. Conversely, those who enter when they are teenagers tend to have more difficulty adapting. Therefore, it is hoped that the management of the orphanage can understand the psychological dynamics of adolescents and their struggles, so that it can help them to live adolescence properly, even without the presence of their biological parents.

Christian faith recognizes the existence of the Holy Spirit as the divine person promised by Jesus. But not all Christians experience the involvement of the Holy Spirit in their lives. Whereas a person who is led by the Holy Spirit will experience spiritual growth, so that he lives according to God's truth and his life bears witness. This study aims to answer the question, what is the role of the Holy Spirit in the lives of believers in leading to all truth? This research is a library research using descriptive analysis method, with the Bible as the main source and support of reliable literature. The conclusion of this research is, first, the Holy Spirit makes the person he leads free from sin and intimidation from the evil one. Second, the Holy Spirit gives wisdom and understanding to know Jesus and live it at every step of the life journey. Third, the Holy Spirit leads to the whole truth of God, so that the person he guides avoids deception.
