Abstract

PT. Tanabe Indonesia is engaged in manufacturing in the health sector and uses cloud-based email and folder sharing facilities. In this case the company does not have a security system that can secure the contents of e-mail messages. In its implementation, the process of sending email on a network does not rule out being read by irresponsible people, such as intruders. This problem can be solved by creating an Email Data Security Application Using a web-based XTEA (Xtended Tiny Encryption Algorithm) Cryptographic Algorithm, so that email messages are not easily compromised. The application that is built also has additional facilities, namely the login process to be able to access it, so that only certain parties who have access rights can use this application. The programming language used in building this data security application is the web-based PHP programming language. From the test results, the file format will change to .sc format. and after going through the encrypt process it will change to be bigger with the average file size increasing by about 22.221 percent from the original file size before going through the encrypt process. From the test results after going through the decrypt process the average file size change will increase by 77.779% percent (22.221 percent reduction), which is the same as the average in the encrypt process

Abstract

Live chat is a customer service that is generally provided by many companies in various fields including PT. Garena Indonesia. However, due to the Covid - 19 pandemic, the service was deactivated because all Customer service staff had to do Work From Home to reduce the spread of the virus. Finally, users can only get assistance via the Ticket report service which requires queuing time to respond. Therefore, a Virtual Assistant was developed which is a development of a Chatbot equipped with Natural Language Processing to understand and respond to messages sent by users when connected to the Live Chat service of PT. Garena Indonesia.

Abstract

Water is the most important part of the agricultural system that cannot be replaced by other media, the problem is that on agricultural land with a limited amount of water this water must be divided equally by all farmers. Often there are disputes between farmers over fighting for water. In the traditional irrigation system, there is generally someone appointed by the residents to manage irrigation in the fields. This officer will open the lid of the irrigation system by hoeing the rice fields and waiting for the water to fill the rice fields to a predetermined limit. But there are frequent water thefts by residents who can't wait to queue. This study aims to design an automatic control device for water flow in rice fields that can make it easier to provide water to the rice fields. The design of the system begins with the use of an Arduino Uno microcontroller, as a system controller, a servo motor to open and close the floodgates, NodeMCU for communication with Telegram and a water level to set a water volume level limit in a rice field can be formulated by measuring the area of land multiplied by the water level. Officers can provide instructions via Telegram installed on the smartphone, so opening and closing the floodgates can be done remotely. With this system, it can help officers and farmers to manage the water supply schedule without having to go to the fields to open rice fields and wait for the water to reach its maximum limit. This system works well if it is supported by a good irrigation network infrastructure

Abstract

Rangkayo Casual Sneakers (RCS) is a product that is engaged in the production of handmade shoes. Currently,sales only rely on customers coming to the store and selling via social media. The problems faced today include inadequate product marketing, less structured product arrangement, more promotional costs, and a lack of updating of information on new products. The purpose of this research is to build an e-commerce-based online store that will make it easier for managers to carry out their business activities. In collecting data, the writer used interview, observation, literature study, and document analysis methods. The documents used are the sales process documents used so far by the Rangkayo Casual Sneaker Shoe Store. Analysis of the ongoing business model using the Business Model Canvas (BMC) and Unified Modeling Language (UML) for its design. While the tools for application development, the author uses a WordPress-based Content Management System (CMS). The result to be achieved in this research is the development of an e-commerce website at the Rangkayo Casual Sneakers Shoes Store to support ongoing business processes. With the implementation of this e-commerce website, it is hoped that the marketing will be wider and easier, the latest product information can be seen directly by customers, and the product arrangement is easy for customers to see so that they can solve existing problems and can improve services to customers in fast, precise and accurate information

Abstract

Currently, when you want to save someone's contact via a business card, it's still done manually, by entering one by one the data from the name card into the cellphone. This is very impractical and quite time consuming. Not to mention the risk that occurs when the data entered is wrong, due to errors in inputting to the cellphone. So we need an application that can help speed up the process of saving contacts from business cards.SIKANA is a mobile application that has a function to save someone's contact by scanning a business card or QR Code. The purpose of making this application is to simplify and speed up the process of saving contacts from business cards.

Abstract

The Instagram account @kulinerkotabatam is an Instagram account that functions to help promote culinary businesses in Batam City. So far, Instagram has been used to promote products / services and photos of its users and not many have promoted culinary delights. In this study, the influence of the @kulinerkotabatam account will be tested on consumer purchase interest using quantitative methods, using random data samples. While the primary data in this study are the results of the answers to the questionnaire and the secondary data used are the results of primary data analysis processed using R Studio software. From the results of data analysis, it is known that the Instagram account @kulinerkotabatam has an influence on consumer buying interest. The results of this study conclude that the independent variable (x) simultaneously has an influence on variable y of 42.88%, the rest is influenced by other factors.

Abstract

Personal data storage performed by each user on a computer in a company has a high risk of data loss or damage. Loss and damage to data is due to data theft or damage to data storage devices on the computer. Lack of user awareness because not all users have knowledge of information technology, data management carried out personally by each user has a very high risk of damage and data loss, which is caused by damaged data storage devices or data theft by unauthorized parties. Active Directory Samba 4 and Linux are centralized data storage solutions (all user data will be stored on the server) by authenticating access to user data according to their ownership. The method used to build an Active Directory Samba 4 and Linux Server is the Network Development Life Cycle. All user data can be stored and accessed properly according to the policies set in Active Directory Samba 4 and Linux .
