The design used is a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental pre-post test design without control. The patient population was obtained as many as 138 patients with a sampling technique using the Slovin formula with an error rate (margin of error) of 10%, so the number of samples was 58 respondents. The instrument used in data collection is the HARS scale questionnaire. The results of the study The highest patient anxiety level before giving lavender aromatherapy experienced a mild level of anxiety with a score of 14-20 as many as 42 people or 72.4%, after being given lavender aromatherapy the highest patient anxiety level experienced a non-anxious anxiety level with a score of <14 as many as 28 people or 48.3% with the results of the paired t-test statistic obtained the value of = 0.001 where the level of significance (ρ <0.05). Abstract

Nosocomial infections are a major problem faced by hospitals and are still quite high in Indonesia. Failure to maintain proper hand hygiene is a major cause of nosocomial infections. Nurses as a central position are very influential on the risk of spreading nosocomial infections because nurses are officers who often make direct contact with patients and must comply with hand hygiene practices. This study aims to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge, attitude, motivation, length of work and emotional intelligence on the compliance of nurses in carrying out hand hygiene in Labuang Baji Hospital. The research design used in this study was an analytical observational research design using a cross sectional approach. The determination of the sample is done by total sampling technique with a sample size of 47 people. The relationship test was carried out using the Chi-square statistical test with a significance level of < 0.05. The results showed that there was a relationship between motivation and nurse compliance in carrying out hand hygiene (ρ-value 0.036). Meanwhile knowledge with compliance (ρ-value 0.635), attitude with compliance (ρ-value 0.404), length of work with compliance (ρ-value 0.317) and emotional intelligence with compliance (ρ-value 1.000) had no relationship with nurses' compliance in carrying out hand hygiene. The conclusion of this study is that there is a relationship between motivation and nurses' compliance in carrying out hand hygiene. While the variables of knowledge, attitude, length of work and emotional intelligence have no relationship with nurses' compliance in carrying out hand hygiene at Labuang Baji Hospital. Suggestion that nurses need to be given an understanding of the importance of hand hygiene so that they carry out hand hygiene.

Abstract

Kangaroo Mother Care (KMC) is one of the non-pharmacological measures in handling the incidence of LBW. The success of KMC is supported by several factors, namely knowledge, attitudes and family support. This study aims to determine the factors associated with Kangaroo Mother Care (KMC) in low birth weight (LBW) infants in Sorowako Village. The research design used is a quantitative research with a cross sectional approach. This research was conducted in Sorowako Village in April 2022. The sample was determined using a total sampling technique with a sample size of 30 respondents. The relationship test was carried out using the chi-square statistical test with a significance level of < 0.05. The results showed that the majority of mothers had less knowledge as many as 17 people (56.7%), the majority of mothers had a good attitude as many as 17 people (56.7%), and the majority of mothers had good family support as many as 16 people (53.3%). ). There is a relationship between mother's knowledge and the application of the kangaroo method (ρ = 0.001), there is a relationship between mother's attitude and the application of the kangaroo method (ρ = 0.004) and there is a relationship between family support and the application of the kangaroo method (ρ = 0.002). The conclusion of this study is that there is a relationship between knowledge, mother's attitude and family support with the application of the kangaroo method. Therefore, it is hoped that mothers who give birth to LBW babies can learn about LBW and KMC and can apply them at home. Abstract

Pulmonary Tuberculosis is a disease caused by the bacterium Mycobacterium tuberculosis. The main problem that is often experienced by pulmonary tuberculosis patients is the accumulation of sputum which results in ineffective airway clearance. To overcome the ineffectiveness of airway clearance, it can be done by providing therapy with drinking warm water and effective coughing. This study aims to determine the comparison between drinking warm therapy and coughing effectively on airway clearance of pulmonary tuberculosis patients at the Bontomarannu Health Center. This research is a quantitative study using a quasi-experimental design where the researcher uses a two group pretest-posttest design. The determination of the sample is done by simple random sampling technique with a sample size of 42 respondents. This study used the Mann Withney test and the Wilcoxon test. From the results of research that has been carried out, it was found that drinking warm water therapy was effective on airway clearance (p=0.027) and cough therapy was effective on ineffective airway clearance (p=0.003). Based on the results of the study, it was shown that cough therapy was more effective in clearing the airway than drinking warm water therapy. It is suggested that this research can be used as a reference to develop knowledge regarding the handling of clearing the airway using the therapy of drinking warm water and coughing effectively

Abstract

Preeclampsia is a disease that is not contagious but can cause death in pregnant women. Preeclampsia can be treated with non-pharmacological methods, one of which is foot bath therapy with warm water. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of foot soak therapy with warm water on reducing blood pressure in preeclamptic pregnant women at the North Galesong Public Health Center. This study is a quantitative study with a quasi-experimental design and a one group pretest-posttest design which was conducted on 37 preeclamptic pregnant women. The sampling technique used was purposive random sampling with a total sampling method that had been adjusted to the inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria. Bivariate analysis used the Wilcoxon test with a significance level of < 0.05. The results of this study indicate, before giving foot bath therapy with warm water to pre-eclamptic pregnant women there is mild and moderate preeclampsia blood pressure, after giving foot soak therapy with warm water to preeclamptic pregnant women there is normal and mild preeclampsia blood pressure, Wilcoxon test shows the pretest- posttest on blood pressure p Value = 0.000. The conclusion of this study is that there is an effect of giving foot soak therapy with warm water on blood pressure in pre-eclamptic pregnant women at the North Galesong Health Center. Therefore, warm water foot soak therapy can be used as a non-pharmacological therapy that can be done independently to reduce blood pressure in preeclamptic pregnant women.
