Abstract

The Indonesian government has designated the Corona Virus (Covid-19) outbreak as a national disaster in 2020 and is still ongoing until mid-2021. The pandemic has had a negative impact on the financial performance of companies that have been hit. On the other hand, the company is obliged to carry out corporate social responsibility (CSR) with poor financial performance conditions. Companies are faced with the decision to reduce the budget for csr implementation or implement CSR more actively to the community. The purpose of this study is to analyze the disclosure and ratio of CSR contributions before and during the Covid-19 pandemic and test the effect of disclosure and the ratio of CSR contributions to company value during the Covid-19 pandemic. The population in this study used companies permine listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2019 and 2020. The taking of sample used purposive sampling technique so that it was obtained by 13 companies as sample. The data analysis methods used are paired sample t-test and multiple regression. The results show that there is no difference in the disclosure and ratio of CSR contributions before and during the Covid-19 pandemic. This makes it clear that the company continues to carry out CSR even though its financial performance is not good. In addition, the disclosure and ratio of CSR contributions during the Covid-19 pandemic has no effect on the value of the company. This shows that investors do not pay much attention to csr activities carried out by the company during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research practically contributes to the literature by suggesting that companies continue to carry out CSR as a form of responsibility for the impact resulting from company operations to be able to help reduce social problems.

Abstract

Pandemic of Covid-19 makes people increase the awareness of insurance in their daily lives. This increase in awareness has led to the importance of insurance companies that have a good level of health and their performance can be assessed by the public. Performance in insurance companies can be reflected in a system called the Early Warning System. Meanwhile, the health level of the insurance company is reflected in Risk Based Capital.  The Early Warning System consists of several ratios, including the premium growth ratio and claim expense ratio This study aims to test whether the premium growth ratio and claim expense ratio affect the health level of the insurance company. The health level of the insurance company is proxied with Risk Based Capital (RBC).  The population used in this study were insurance companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from the 2020-2021 period. The sample selection method used is purposive sampling. The hypothesis testing of the research used is multiple regression analysis using the eviews program. The result of this study is that there is no influence between the premium growth ratio and the health level of the insurance company and there is an influence between the claim expenses ratio and the health level of the insurance company.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of company size and audit characteristics of committee audit to the acceptance of Audit Report Lag with tenure of public Accounting Firm’s as moderate variable. The samples of this research are mining sector companies which listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) in 2016 to 2020. The samples used as many as 85 companies with a purposive sampling technique and interaction test with the help of SmartPLS software. The result of this research show that company size is significant influence on audit report lag, hile audit characteristics of committee audit is no significant effect on the Audit Report Lag. And then after moderating show that that tenure of public Accounting Firm’s is moderating variable in the company size on auditreport lag whereas for tenure of public Accounting Firm’s is not moderating variable in the relationship characteristics of committee audit on audit report lag

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to investigate the effect of work environment and leader behavior on work stress and turnover intention. The study was conducted at community of Tembalang culinary (Komunitas Tembalang Kuliner), with 184 employees as a respondent who work in 35 culinary places. All data is processed using Structural Equation Models (SEM) which assisted by application program of Analysis of Moment Structure (AMOS) 21.0 version. According to the analysis, it is concluded as the followings: work environment has a positive effect on work stress; leader behavior has a positive effect on work stress; and work stress has a positive effect on turnover intention.

Abstract

Employee performance is important in the production process of a company. With good performance, it can produce quality products, the number of products according to the target, high sales and huge profits for the company. Company and management have a big hand in increasing their work performance by actualizing job satisfaction for employees. Employee job satisfaction can be realized through leadership style and motivation which is met with their employee. This study aims to determine the influence of leadership style and work motivation on the performance of APRI Collection employees in Sukoharjo Regency. The population of this study was all 61 employees who were for the sample taken 60 people because the leaders were excluded from data collection so that the data was not biased. The analysis technique used multiple regression with the help of SPSS to calculate it. The results showed that leadership style and motivation had a positive and significant effect on the performance of APRI Collection employees in Kabupaten Sukoharjo.
