Islamic economics and finance in Indonesia have developed rapidly in last two decades. However, Indonesia’s Islamic economic literacy is still low at 16,3%. One way that the government has taken toincrease Islamic economic literacy is by encouraging Islamic boarding schools to increase Islamic economic and financial literacy. The purpose of this research is to determine the level of Islamic economic literacy High School Santri of Islamic Boarding School Bahrul Ulum Tambakberas Jombang using a quantitative approach. Sources of data in this research are primary data and secondary data. Primary data is obtained from answers given by respondents in distributed questionnaires. Secondary data were obtained from library research. The number of respondents was 89 santri. Data were collected using a questionnaire. The test on the research instrument was the validity test and reliability test. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistics. The result showed that the Islamic economic literacy level of santri was in the sufficient literate category with an average of 73,64%. The Islamic economic literacy index is obtained by calculating the literacy rate of each aspect multiplied by the weight of the constituent aspects, so the result of islamic economic literacy index of santri is 36,61% (well literate).

The development of halal tourism using the Quadruple Helix concept is a concept that combines the roles of four actors in supporting the halal tourism development program. This concept divides the roles of the Government, Academics, Private sector and Community to become a good collaboration in the development of halal tourism in the Cisarua-Lembang Tourism Area. This study aims to determine the role of Quadruple Helix actors in the development of halal tourism in the Cisarua-Lembang Tourism Area. In this study using a qualitative descriptive research method using primary data and secondary data. Interviews, field observations, and documentation are data collection techniques used in this study. The results of this study indicate that the role of the Quadruple Helix in the development of halal tourism in the Cisarua-Lembang Tourism Area has not played an optimal role and there has not been significant cooperation among Quadruple Helix actors.

There is a purpose of this study to determine the effect of discounts on people's purchasing power in Sidoarjo district in the new normal era. This research uses quantitative methods and analytical tools using validity and reliability methods as test instruments, simple linear regression method, hypothesis method (T), and coefficient of determination method (R2). The results of this study indicate that the discount variable has a positive and significant effect on the variable of people's purchasing power in Sidoarjo district. The application of discounts in the new normal era can increase the purchasing power of people in Sidoarjo district.

The high demand for ornamental fish like Guppy, both on local and international market, has increased the opportunity for Guppy fish cultivation. However, there are many people who lacks basic knowledge and technical support to cultivating Guppy. As a result, many fish that has been cultivated did not meet the standards on the market. The purpose of this research was to describe Islamic Business Ethics Application on Guppy's Farmers in Guppy Junior Surabaya. The researchers used descriptive-qualitative research methods to describe how was the cultivation process of Guppy fish by Guppy Junior Surabaya and to know whether the method is appropriate with Islamic Business Ethics. As for the method to collect data is using interviews, conducted on main and supporting sources, and followed by documentations and direct observation to obtain data. The results of this study state that in the process of guppy fish cultivation carried out by guppy junior surabaya, they are able to apply the principles of Islamic business ethics which include the principles of unity, balance, free will, responsibility, and honesty/kindness

This research conducted to see the effect of impulsive buying behavior factors on muslim female consumers in Madiun who purchase muslim fashion products online during the new normal period. The non-probability sampling technique used was purposive sampling and the population is muslim female consumers in Madiun, East Java and calculated using the unknown populations formula. The quantitative approach used in this research is based on primary data sources. Multiple linear regression analysis are used in hypothesis testing. Based on the research results, the consumer characteristics and situational factors has a significant positive effect, the website characteristics has a significant negative effect. The religiosity has no significant effect. The simultaneous test results showed a significant positive effect between consumer characteristics, website characteristics, situasional factors, and religiosity to impulsive buying behavior in purchasing muslim fashion products on the marketplace in the new normal.

The citizen of Java Island has an exciting and sacred cultural diversity to carry out. One of the traditions is donating to the wedding procession or what is often known as buwuh. Buwuh is an activity to attend an event or celebration to provide assistance or donations to the owner of the intention. It can be goods, money, or services. The purpose of this study was to determine the cultural practices and traditions of buwuh in the community in Rangkah Village, Surabaya City, and to find out the cultural and traditional practices of buwuh from the Islamic Economics’s perspective. This research is field research, data obtained directly from the field with data collection techniques using interviews, documentation, and observation. The nature of this research is descriptive qualitative to describe the culture and traditions of buwuh as debts in marriage customs. The results of this study indicate that there are two different points of view on the buwuh. The first group is stating that the cultural and traditional practices of buwuh are considered a grant because, in practice, they are purely gifts. The second group stated that the cultural and traditional practices of buwuh are considered an account payable because there is a transaction where they must be returned.

The raise of covid-19 case in East Java have the government to enforce PSBB (Local Lockdown Policy), nevertheless this policy makes peoples spend more money on some particular product. This condition is known as panic buying. In Islam, people are forbidden to have a massive consumption for their own. Its explained in Q.S. Al-Araf (31). To know the consumption behaviour of muslim that having issue on their economy aspect because of covid-19 is the purpose of this study. This is a quantative study with survey method. This study uses validation test, reliability test, and descriptive statistic analysis through tendency variable table. The result of this study explains that the consumption behaviour of muslim in Surabaya that having economic issue because of covid-19 does not contrary to Islamic values.

The purpose of this study is to determine the understanding, assessment, and attitudes given by the community regarding the halal labeling of fast food sold by fast food business outlets and its impact on the development of halal tourism in Surabaya. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach that aims to analyze public perceptions of the halal labeling of fast food. The object of research taken is located in Surabaya. This study uses two data sources which include primary data through online interviews and secondary data obtained from previous research literature. This study uses analysis technique that include data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the public has a high awareness of being more consumptive about the halal and haram of a product according to Islamic law and the MUI fatwa. The form of awareness in the form of supporting halal labeling obtained from MUI on the attributes of fast food business outlets in order to ensure the safety of the products consumed and minimize fraud committed by business actors. The positive impact of halal labeling is the development of halal tourism in the city of Surabaya, which provides an increase in the economy of local businesses and lures tourists to visit the city of Surabaya.

For some people, skincare is included in the need. To meet these needs, there are cosmetic products that are specially formulated to treat skin health. It’s not just one or two brands that skincare products. This is what makes consumers have to be wise in choosing skincare products. Judging on the phenomenon, the author conducted a study with a view to knowing the effect of Islamic Branding, Religiosity, Lifestyle on skincare purchasing decisions in Gresik Regency. The approach used in this study is a quantitative approach and uses an explanatory research type. The rresults of this study are that Islamic Branding has no effect on purchasing decisions for skincare ing Gresik Regency. Meanwhile, Religiosity and Lifestyle affect the purchase of skincare in Gresik Regency.

Islam commands its people to work hard so as not to be lazy. In working there are rules that must be observed so as not to merely seek and gain profit in any way. One of the jobs used by several actors is mask actors who practice ihtikar. The practice of ihtikar or more often referred to as hoarding of goods is an activity of buying goods in large quantities with the aim of being stockpiled and resold when the price of the goods has soared. The purpose of this study is to determine the buying and selling behavior of ihtikar masks in an Islamic economic perspective. This type of research is field observation. Data collection methods using interviews and observation. The nature of this research is descriptive qualitative, that is, it describes the problems obtained through the facts on the hoarding of masks that occurred in the Lailaqueen Store which is seen from the point of view of Islamic economics. The results of this study are the practice of ihtikar carried out by the Lailaqueen Store starting from the covid-19 pandemic, and the type of goods stockpiled is One Care 3ply masks with medical quality. The purpose of this ihtikar practice is to gain multiple benefits, resulting in misery for others because masks are becoming scarce in the market.
