Abstract

Gresik is one of the districts in the east java province with a large population, especially those who are Muslim. The purpose of this study is to find out the effect of promotion on digital wallets on Muslim consumption in Gresik. Research subjects were taken using sampling methods and data sources in the form of primary and secondary. The validity test is conducted quantitatively through the SPSS application. The results of this study using a simple linear regression test showed the effect of promotion on digital wallets on the consumption of Muslim communities in Gresik. in the T hypothesis test, it shows that the promotion of digital wallets partially on the consumption of the Muslim community in Gresik. The results prove that promotion on digital wallets has a major contribution to Muslim consumption in Gresik, regardless of the digital wallet brand used or transactions made.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of musyarakah and murabaha contract financing on return on assets at Islamic Commercial Banks in Indonesia for the period 2015 to 2019. This research data was taken from access to the official website of OJK (Financial Services Authority) monthly reports on Islamic banking statistics for the period 2015 month. January to December 2019 month. The approach method uses the ECM (Error Correction Model) model. The results obtained on the variable of Musyarakah contract financing have a significant and significant effect on return on assets in long-term conditions. Meanwhile, in short-term conditions, it does not have a significant and significant effect on return on assets at Islamic Commercial Banks in Indonesia for the period 2015 to 2019. In the variable murabahah financing in long-term or short-term conditions, it does not affect return on assets at Islamic Commercial Banks in Indonesia. 2015 to 2019. This could happen because the interest offered by commercial banks is lower than the margin level provided by Islamic commercial banks, so many people choose to take financing from commercial banks.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out the strategies used by Grab drivers in Surabaya in increasing income and welfare during the Covid-19 pandemic and to find out the strategies carried out from an Islamic perspective. The approach taken uses a qualitative approach. The variables used are the driver grab strategy and the improvement of economic welfare. The population used is the grab driver who is in Surabaya by using an interview approach and recording the results of the interview. The data used are primary and secondary data types. Primary data was obtained by conducting direct interviews with informants, and secondary data obtained from online media. The results of this study indicate that strategies such as moving places, making good use of operating hours, offering promotions, providing the best service and maximizing existing incentives can improve welfare and nothing deviates from Islamic teachings.  All strategies carried out do not harm any party and are allowed in Islam, the income of Surabaya grab drivers has also increased after using their respective strategies.

Abstract

Syirkah is a partnership with the enactment of the right to something for two or more parties with the aim of the partnership to run a business or business, both in the field of trade or services where the provision of capital can come from any allied party or from one of them. Activities of running capital can be carried out by all parties involved, or some of the parties who share. Likewise with the distribution of profits that will be divided according to the applicable agreement. This study aims to determine the application of UD syirkah. Pride, and to find out from the perspective of fiqh muamalah regarding the application of syirkah at UD. priviledge. Previously UD. Pribawa is a trading business which is engaged in the sale and purchase of batteries for motor vehicles which is run by three brothers. This research uses descriptive qualitative method. To collect data this technique uses interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the syirkah system used at UD. Pribawa is using syirkah inan. In addition, at UD. Pribawa has carried out the renewal of syirkah cooperation, because two of the three shareholders/capital owners have died.

Abstract

This research aimed to find out the digital marketing strategy in Aqiqah Nurul Hayat through endorsements. In addition, this study also aimed to determine the conformity of endorsement activities with the concept of Islamic business ethics. This study used qualitative research methods i.e. field research and library research. The data was collected through interview, observation, and documentation. The results indicate that Aqiqah Nurul Hayat's digital marketing strategy is through endorsements on social media (instagram and tiktok). This strategy is able to expand market reach as proved by increased Instagram engagement through the number of likes, comments, shares, views, and reposts. However, the agreement between the celebrity and Aqiqah Nurul Hayat who uses the barter system is still considered weak. The results show that, the implementation of celebrity endorsement at Aqiqah Nurul Hayat is not following the principles of responsibility and truth under the concept of Islamic business ethics, whereby sometimes some celebrities do not carry out their obligations in accordance with the terms and conditions of the endorsement. However, the principles of unity, balance, and free will are in accordance with the principles of Islamic business ethics whereby the endorsement procedure benefitted both parties through negotiations and freedom of opinion while conducting business.

Abstract

Cooperation with a profit-sharing system is considered more profitable than a rental system, both for landowners and farmers. The people of the Mojosari sub-district did not clearly say that the contract they were carrying out was mukhabarah. The purpose of this study was to find out the practice of sharing agricultural products (mukhabarah), a review of Islamic law and the reasons why the villagers of Kebondalem cooperate for agricultural products (mukhabarah). This type of research is qualitative. The subject of this research is the owner of the field and the farmer/farm laborer or cultivator. Based on these criteria, five research subjects were found. Informant retrieval technique using purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis in this study refers to the interactive analysis model proposed by Huberman and Miles. The results showed that The practice of agricultural production sharing (mukhabarah) in Kebondalem Village with a production sharing agreement with the maro system (half) and the 30/70 system, namely 30% for land owners and 70% for small farmers. The review of Islamic Economics in the application of profit sharing which is carried out daily with the mukhabarah system in the village of Kebondalem, Mojosari District, Mojokerto Regency which has not been fully carried out based on existing Islamic rules, but they use it according to the habits of the local community, namely by not specifying the period of validity. mukhabarah contract and the distribution of the results in accordance with the agreement of the land owner with the tenant farmer only. The mukhabarah transaction process carried out in the village of Kebondalem can be categorized as a valid cooperation because it contains the principle of muamalah, namely the existence of an element of mutual willingness and is a custom that does not conflict with the Qur'an and Hadith and does not contain any harm. The aspect of justice that occurs in the practice of profit sharing in the village of Kebondalem is not very visible, because both parties are mutually pleased, understand each other and are considerate of each other.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to see the implementation of Good Corporate Governance by applying 5 principles, and the principles are transparency, accountability, responsibility, independence, and fairness, and also the performance of employees at the amil zakat institution on fundraising of funds obtained by the amil zakat institution. This study uses a qualitative phenomenological method using purposive sampling technique and in collecting data using interview and observation techniques. In this study, there were 3 sources as a reference for interview data, they are the Chairman of the Governing Body, Head of the Office, and Muzakki Lazismu Sidoarjo. The results of this study showed that the implementation of good corporate governance and employee performance has been implemented properly and correctly, which can be seen from the effective and efficient institutional performance system as well as the high achievement of targets made by Lazismu Sidoarjo employees, but due to a pandemic Covid 19 has caused the collection of funds at Lazismu Sidoarjo to experience a significant decline.

Abstract

The growth in net asset value of sharia mutual funds continues to increase, while the amount of funds under management and market share of sharia mutual funds are still smaller than conventional mutual funds, this shows that investment intention in sharia mutual funds is still low. The purpose of this study was to determine effect of investment motivation and technological progress on investment intention in sharia mutual funds in generation Z in Surabaya. The method used in this research is quantitative and data analysis techniques used multiple linear regression. The results of this study reveal that investment motivation partially affects the investent intention in sharia mutual funds in generation Z in the city of Surabaya. Technological advances partially have no effect on the investment intention in sharia mutual funds in generation Z in the city of Surabaya. And simultaneously, investment motivation and technological progress have an influence on investment intention in sharia mutual funds in generation Z in Surabaya.

Abstract

Muamalah activity is one of the activities prescribed by the Islamic religion, namelywages or cooperation. As social beings, in carrying out muamalah activities, we definitely need the help of other humans. Wages in fiqh muamalah are known as Ijarah. The practice of wage labor for cattle is a collaboration between the two parties, namely the owner of the cow and the laborer. The practice of wage labor for cattle is often carried out by the people of Tengger Kulon Village - Tuban as a side profession to meet their daily needs. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with the aim ofknowing the review of Islamic law on the wage mechanism for cattle keeping workers in Tengger Kulon Village - Tuban. Based on the results of the study, it shows that the wage transactions for cattle workers in Tengger Kulon Village – Tuban are not fully in accordance with Islamic law which refers to the Qur'an and hadith because there are disadvantages that contain elements of dzulm because they have not achieved justice.

Abstract

Rahn is a pawn service product that is based on sharia principles. Ensure that in marketing the product, there are several stages of strategy which include planning, implementation, and evaluation. The purpose of this study is to find out and analyze how the marketing strategy of sharia pawn products is applied to the Pegadaian Syariah Blauran Surabaya Branch, especially during the covid-19 pandemic. This research uses descriptive qualitative method and purposive sampling technique. The results of this study conclude that the marketing strategy used by Pegadaian Blauran Surabaya Branch in increasing customer interest during the pandemic includes 3 processes, namely strategic planning, strategy implementation, and strategy evaluation. These three things are interrelated and to achieve company goals. In the planning strategy, Pegadaian Syariah Blauran Surabaya Branch plans the target market and the target market to be addressed, namely potential customers. Then in the implementation of the strategy, Pegadaian Syariah Blauran Surabaya Branch carried out a 7P marketing mix strategy, namely: product, place, price, promotion, people, physical evidence, and processes. And the last is the strategy evaluation, the Pegadaian Syariah Blauran Surabaya routinely evaluates once a month. The process of the three marketing strategies carried out by Pegadaian Syariah Blauran Surabaya Branch has been carried out well, as evidenced by a very significant increase in the number of customers from 2020-2022.
