Abstract

An image is rich in information, but often the images we possess undergo image quality degradation, such as a decrease in image quality due to defects or noise, overly contrasting colors, lack of sharpness, blurring, and so on. Image enhancement is a commonly used method to improve image quality. Image enhancement aims to achieve a visually better representation of the image. Various techniques or methods are employed in image enhancement, including the use of histogram equalization methods. The use of digital images is increasing due to the advantages they offer, such as ease of obtaining, reproducing, and processing images. However, not all digital images have a visually pleasing appearance. Dissatisfaction may arise due to noise, poor lighting quality in digital images being too dark or too bright. Therefore, methods are needed to improve the quality of these digital images. To enhance the image quality in terms of color contrast, treatment can be applied to its histogram. The treatment referred to in this article is histogram equalization on grayscale images. An image histogram is considered good if it can involve all possible levels or shades in grayscale. Of course, the goal is to display details in the image for easy observation. The process of changing and improving digital image quality is carried out using MATLAB.

Abstract

PT.Jovi Karunia Jaya is a company that sells medical equipment, parts such as thermometers, stethoscopes, oxygen cylinders, blood pressure monitors and others. In the company PT. Jovi Karunia Jaya has been accredited for excellent health and sales to the public. The problem that occurs in sales selection is that companies experience difficulty in selecting the best salesman to be promoted to sales manager because currently companies determine their best salesman by only looking at the amount of sales turnover generated by each salesman, but paying little attention to other factors. which can support the assessment, resulting in the management making the wrong choice and making a decision, and can also give the impression of favoritism towards one of the salesmen and can give rise to social jealousy. To overcome problems that occur at PT. Jovi Karunia Jaya to determine the best health sales, by making decisions using the WASPAS method so that the results are more efficient. The alert method is a method that can reduce errors or optimize estimates for selecting the highest and lowest values. Therefore, the role of decision support systems is needed in overcoming the problems currently faced. Based on calculations carried out using the WASPAS method, the highest ranking result was obtained, namely Nurhayati Saragih (A3) with a score of 5.3675.

Abstract

Auditors are parties who play an important role for company management in decision making. Auditors are expected to be able to produce quality audits for management's needs in the decision-making process. This will help PT. Barindo Abadi Semesta in improving company performance through the auditor performance results obtained. One effort to get quality auditors is to carry out performance assessments and give awards to auditors for the performance and achievements they have made while working as auditors. One of the methods used is the Multi Attribute Utility Theory (MAUT) method using Rank Order Centroid (ROC) weighting. Based on the results of calculating the final value using the Multi Attribute Utility Theory (MAUT) method, there is an alternative choice, namely A2 as the best alternative choice with a final value of 0.847.

Abstract

Predicting demand for raw materials is one of the important things that PT. Arma of Eternal Grace. However, there are still obstacles such as excessive accumulation of raw materials in each branch store. So we need to predict so that in the future when we enter moments such as Eid al-Fitr, New Year, Chinese New Year and Christmas we can handle them so that there is no accumulation of raw materials so as not to cause losses to the PT company. Arma of Eternal Grace. Therefore, calculations are needed when predicting raw materials that are more accurate and well controlled. The C4.5 algorithm method is a method used to predict demand for raw materials in branch stores to make it more efficient and controlled so that there are no shortages or excesses in each branch store. The result of this research is the application of data mining using the C4.5 algorithm method which can predict demand for raw materials with more accurate decisions in the future.

Abstract

MIN 3 Deli Serdang is a public school located at Jalan Mesjid, Beringin Village. MIN 3 Deli Serdang provides education for elementary school (SD) and the learning time of MIN 3 Deli Serdang is held from morning to afternoon. Many facilities are provided at MIN 3 Deli Serdang school, from teaching equipment, field and library. In the Deli Serdang library there are many books that can be read from grade 1 to grade 6, the books provided are in accordance with the education provided. Some problems in the preparation of the layout are students who read books according to their interests and complete assignments given by the teacher, books that are read only on the nearest shelf this is because the library guard cannot arrange the layout of books that are often used by students every day according to their needs considering that there are many books to read. This research uses the K-Harmonic Means method for the preparation of library book data layout at MIN 3 Deli Serdang school. With the implementation of the K-Harmonic Means method, the MIN 3 Deli Serdang library can easily arrange the layout of book data.
