Abstract

This study aims to analyze the needs for developing the Merdeka Curriculum in the subject of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) and Character, based on local wisdom at the senior high school level, with a focus on the cultural context of West Java communities. The background of this research lies in the predominance of textual and normative approaches in PAI instruction, which have not fully accommodated local values such as religious traditions, regional languages, and living cultural practices within society. Using a mixed-methods approach with a concurrent triangulation design, data were collected through questionnaires and interviews involving 373 students and 191 PAI teachers from five public senior high schools in West Java. The findings indicate that more than 70% of respondents support the integration of local wisdom values into the PAI curriculum. The most prominent aspects include the need for contextual learning guidelines, the scarcity of locally relevant textbooks, and the importance of using regional languages in delivering religious materials. The study concludes that developing a PAI curriculum adaptive to local cultural contexts is not only crucial for enhancing the relevance of learning but also strategic in shaping an inclusive, moderate religious identity rooted in students’ social realities. The results of this needs analysis are expected to serve as both a conceptual and practical foundation for designing a PAI curriculum that is contextual and responsive to the dynamics of Indonesia’s multicultural society.

Abstract

The phenomenon of posthumanism in Indonesia is no longer merely a theoretical discourse, but has become an everyday experience that reshapes social relations, identity, and human existence in the digital era. This study aims to examine how Wregas Bhanuteja's film Andragogy (2023) represents the dynamics of power in posthuman cinema through visual and narrative studies, with the Actor-Network Theory (ANT) approach from Bruno Latour and Jacques Lacan's gaze theory. The results of the study show that the virality of Bu Prani's video in the film functions as a non-human actor who has agency in shaping public opinion, mobilizing social networks, and distributing power. Social media is not only a space of representation, but also regulates social narratives that oppress individuals. Bu Prani loses control over her own identity, trapped in the logic of algorithms and collective power exercised by netizens through the mechanisms of gaze and méconnaissance. Through visual framing that shows how Bu Prani's personal space is reduced and her narrative is constructed by digital social networks, this film highlights the crisis of the subject in the posthuman era. Andragogy is not only an aesthetic critique of the post-pandemic era, but also reflects how power has shifted from humans to digital objects that are able to significantly modulate social life. The findings of this study emphasize that in posthuman networks, humans are no longer the absolute center of social construction, and cinema can be a critical medium to dismantle the tension between human agency and algorithms

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of honesty cages on the development of business ethics among Management students. A quantitative approach was used, employing a simple linear regression method. The sample consisted of 39 students from Class 2G who had direct experience of using honesty canteens. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using statistical software. The results of the analysis show that the honesty canteen variable significantly affects student business ethics. This is evidenced by a t-test significance value of 0.000 and a t-count value of 8.693. The F-test also produced significant results, with an F-count value of 75.570 and a significance value of 0.000. With a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.671, 67.1% of the variation in student business ethics can be explained by the honesty canteen variable. It can therefore be concluded that honesty canteens play a role in fostering honesty, responsibility and ethics among students. These facilities are not only places for transactions, but also serve as a means of character education relevant to business ethics. This study therefore recommends developing and integrating honesty canteens into character education programs in higher education institutions

Abstract

The transformation of learning in higher education is an urgent need to face global challenges and realize the vision of Golden Indonesia 2045. This article aims to examine and formulate the development of a higher education curriculum based on the Ulul Ilmi Model that integrates Islamic values with 21st-century skills. The Ulul Ilmi Model is understood as a learning paradigm that emphasizes the unity between spiritual depth, intellectual breadth, and analytical acumen in the educational process. The research method used is a systematic literature study with a qualitative-analytical approach to relevant primary and secondary sources, including studies of the Qur'an, Islamic educational thought, national education policies, and literature on 21st-century skills. The results of the study indicate that the integration of Islamic values such as monotheism, morality, scientific ethos, and social responsibility with 21st-century skills including critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, communication, and digital literacy can shape the profile of graduates who are intellectually superior, have character, and are adaptive to changing times. The implementation of the Ulul Ilmi Model in curriculum development encourages holistic, contextual learning, and is oriented towards strengthening character and global competence. This article is expected to provide a conceptual contribution to the development of a higher education curriculum that is based on Islamic values and is responsive to the demands of the nation's future towards Golden Indonesia 2045
