Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe strengths and weaknesses of SMK-SPP Samarinda towards the achievement of National Education Standards particularly management, facilities and infrastructure, financing standards and determine SMK-SPP Samarinda Strategy in compliance with national education standards, especially management standards, facilities and infrastructure, as well as financing. Results of the research demonstrated that the strengths of SMK SPP are as follows: sufficient field-study area; availability of main facilities and infrastructure; competitive study programs; ISO 9001-2008 certified; and A-accredited school. Meanwhile, the weaknesses of SMK SPP are: inadequate human resources, both in quantity and quality; education facilities and infrastructure are still not based on information and communication technology; financial dependent; inadequate workshop facilities for selling agricultural products. Strategies that need to be developed to achieve national education standard based on SWOT analysis in SMK SPP Samarinda are as follows: Institutional Strengthening, School of Management Improvement, Learning Quality Improvement, and School Relations with Stakeholders strengthening.

Abstract

It has been obtained a graph of the wave function of Coulombic's non-central potential Schrodinger equation Rosen Morse which is systematically an embodiment of hydrogen atoms and their isotopes. Schrodinger's equation is solved through variable spatial techniques with each variable resolved using a different method so that the radial and angular part wave functions are visualized by Matlab-based computer programming. Visualization of the radial wave function that is formed describes the probability value of the discovery of electrons which are small parts of an atom, while the visualization of the formed angular wave function shows the movement of electrons in an energy level. The mention of the atom itself is already in the Qur'an, Allah says in surah As-Saba verse 3. According to the interpretation of Quraish Shihab the word dzarrah in Arabic refers to a very small object, the size of an ant's child or fine dust. The phrase mitsqalu dzarrah in this verse means the weight of an atom. This implies the presence of a compound whose specific gravity is lighter than an atom.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the variation of sea turtle morphology on the Bantul Coast. Morphometric measurements of sea turtle species (Lepidochelysolivaceae) were done and its morphology was observed. The results of the research were six morphological characters which showed significant differences between hatchlings on Pelangi and Goa Cemara Coast. The morphology between sea turtle hatchlings and the number of carapace 6 pairs, 7 pairs and 8 pairs obtained four significant differences.

Abstract

Indonesia is the third largest tropical forest country. There are about 125 million Ha of total Indonesian forests, in which 27 million Ha are conservation areas. Besides conserving species and ecosystem, national parks are also natural solutions for climate change problem. Despite its vital roles in mitigating climate change, national parks are affected by climate change. Changing in climate alters forest composition and structure, scenic beauty, cultural heritage, biodiversity, and ecosystem services. These impacts eventually could harm tourism, and national park development. National park is an interesting landscape to study climate change. It is a nature conservation area, has native ecosystem, managed using zoning system and mainly used for research, education, and nature tourism. Many of the national parks are protected from urbanization, timber harvesting, grazing, and other non-climate factors. Therefore, it can be said that human is one of the main causes of climate change. Taking into account the nature of national parks and inevitable impact of climate change, research needs to be done to assess how climate change affects national parks. Using literature review, this paper will explore to what extent the research on impacts of climate change in Indonesia national parks has been done and provide information regarding existing mitigation and adaptation actions.

Abstract

This community service was carried out in the farming community and cattleman in Tlogowarak, Giripurwo Village, Gunungkidul Regency. This service was carried out through Direct Coaching and Training activities to the local society. It is aimed to utilize probiotic fermentation technology to increase the value of farmers' rice straw as an alternative feed for cattle and goats in Tlogowarak, Giripurwo, Gunungkidul. Through this service, it is expected that farmers and cattleman have knowledge and skills about bio-fermentation technology to increase the nutritional value of rice straw with the help of molasse bacteria (local microorganisms) or by mixing liquid molasses and EM4 (Effective Microorganism 2-4). The results showed that the knowledge and skills of the farmers and cattleman of Tlogowarak about the bio-fermentation technique are increase after training program, so they were able to process the straw waste into an alternative feed for livestock so that could help farmers in lack of grass in the dry season.
