Abstract

Torosiaje Village is a 'floating' village which is one of the tourist destinations in Pohuwato Regency, Gorontalo. This uniqueness causes the UMKMs that develop there to be dominated by UMKMs engaged in tourism and culinary. However, the problem is that almost all of these UMKMs are not yet digital-based in their financial management, everything is still manual-based, from bookkeeping to marketing. SI APIK is an Android-based financial application that aims to improve access to finance, encourage UMKMs to upgrade, and encourage the productivity of UMKSs themselves. Therefore we feel the need to provide training/outreach to the community in Torosiaje village regarding Financial Digitalization in UMKM governance, with the hope of increasing UMKM actors' understanding of the importance of digitizing finance using the SI APIK application in every financial activity starting from simple bookkeeping, financial services access to finance, organizational management, business legality and digital financial records.

Abstract

Investment aimed to manage assets and increase people's income from the profit earned. The expected return depends on the investment instrument and the level of risk. The higher the risk, the higher the rate of return. On the contrary, the lower the risk, the lower the return on investment. This principle should be well-introduced to the public in order to avoid "fraud" investments. Cases of fraud of investment that went viral in the society are the portrait of the level of understanding of the society about investment and its risks. This study was conducted from the act of community service activities in Boliyohuto District, Region of Gorontalo.

Abstract

Patchwork waste is very difficult inorganic to be decomposed by the environment. In this case, it becomes a problem if it is just accumulated and then burnt which results in environmental pollution because it creates smoke and gases which are not good for health. Thus, as movers from academia, we conduct training, namely the utilization of patchwork waste into creative products having high selling value. We held this community service activity with PKK wives in Ploso Village and fellow PKN IIM Surakarta students who participated in the implementation. The implementation method in this service started from initial observations regarding the situation, offering solutions and outreaching programs and directing the training. This service activity aims to raise awareness and concern for PKK wives regarding the existence of inorganic waste around the environment, especially patchwork and also to provide knowledge related to selling power so that it can increase income both in PKK and family cash.

Abstract

Literacy can be defined as a complex ability that consists of the ability to read, write, the ability to retrieve and interpret types of texts and the ability of students to think using existing sources of knowledge, both in visual, print and audiovisual forms. Basic literacy skills can be obtained by reading, writing, listening, counting and speaking. In this service, it is specialized in reading literacy with the aim of increasing children's interest in reading. The activities carried out such as the introduction of basic literacy and reading interest; literacy movements in the form of reading children's stories, reading poetry, and reading rhymes; and playing with literacy themes, such as connecting stories and composing words can be used as activities that help foster children's interest in reading in order to support the National Literacy Movement.

Abstract

Abstract This research discusses the implementation of a training program on Friday sermons and the role of imams in Sabililhuda Mosque, Boki Owutango Tamalate, involving 23 participants from various surrounding mosques. The program aims to enhance understanding of religion, religious enthusiasm, and the quality of Friday sermons within the Muslim community. The methods employed in program implementation encompass program planning, execution, post-training activities, program evaluation, collaboration, and community involvement. The results of this program demonstrate improved religious understanding among participants, positive changes in worship practices and Friday sermons, and social impacts encompassing community cohesion, increased social awareness, and community empowerment. The program effectively engaged a substantial number of participants, creating a broader impact that can extend to other mosques within the region. Recommendations include the continuation of the program, training of leaders, further development of training materials, regular evaluations, broader community involvement, and inter-mosque collaboration. This program is a positive step towards strengthening the Muslim community, enhancing religious understanding, religious enthusiasm, and social empowerment. Awareness of the importance of religious education and community empowerment is key to building a better and stronger society. This program marks a positive initial stride in that direction. Penelitian ini membahas pelaksanaan program pelatihan khutbah Jumat dan peran imam di Masjid Sabililhuda Boki Owutango Tamalate, yang melibatkan 23 peserta dari berbagai masjid di sekitarnya. Program ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman agama, semangat keagamaan, dan kualitas khutbah Jumat dalam komunitas Muslim. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelaksanaan program mencakup perencanaan program, pelaksanaan program, kegiatan pascapelatihan, evaluasi program, kolaborasi dan keterlibatan masyarakat. Hasil dari program ini menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman agama peserta, perubahan positif dalam praktik ibadah dan khutbah Jumat, serta dampak sosial yang mencakup kesatuan komunitas, peningkatan kesadaran sosial, dan pemberdayaan komunitas. Program ini berhasil melibatkan banyak peserta, yang menciptakan dampak yang lebih luas dan dapat menyebar ke masjid-masjid lain dalam wilayah tersebut. Rekomendasi termasuk menjalankan program berkelanjutan, pelatihan kader, pengembangan materi pelatihan, evaluasi rutin, pelibatan masyarakat lebih luas, dan kerjasama antarmasjid. Program ini adalah langkah positif dalam memperkuat komunitas Muslim, meningkatkan pemahaman agama, semangat keagamaan, dan pemberdayaan sosial. Kesadaran akan pentingnya pendidikan keagamaan dan pemberdayaan komunitas Muslim adalah kunci untuk menciptakan masyarakat yang lebih baik dan lebih kuat. Program ini adalah langkah awal yang positif dalam arah itu.
