Abstract

Poto Village is a village that produces Ikat and Songket fabrics, which are typical fabrics of the Sumbawa region. During the royal era, Poto Village became a supplier of woven cloth to the Sumbawa Kingdom, for its nobility. Until now, the role as a supplier is still running, but for the general public. This weaving tradition is also supported by the culture of the local community that still survives. These cultural traditions are in the form of local folk arts, such as the Ponan Party (People's Party welcoming the rice planting season), Karapan Sapi, Horse Racing with jockeys aged 5-13 years. The setting of these activities has become a strong tourist attraction for the Sumbawa Besar area. Many of them are foreign tourists, not only wanting to see the results of woven fabrics but also seeing the manufacturing process and the traditional life of the local community. Through historical studies and architectural, environmental, and socio-cultural potentials of the community, the planning and design of Poto Village as a Tourism Village was carried out. From the analysis of the data obtained, a model of architectural and planology planning was made for the ikat industrial area in Poto Village. Based on the results, spatial settings are needed to be able to support the realization of Poto Village into a Craft Tourism Village.

Abstract

Pb metal can be reduced its presence in wastewater containing high organic matter by using a limited mixed bacterial culture in an anaerobic biological reactor. The process of reducing or removing heavy metals in biological reactors occurs through enzymatic processes such as oxidation-reduction processes and non-enzymatic processes. This research was conducted to examine the effect of sulfate compounds as reducing agents as one of the enzymatic processes in microbiological treatment processes to increase lead (Pb) removal in wastewater using limited mixed bacterial cultures. With the addition of sulfate in the anaerobic reactor, it was found that the removal of Pb was greater than the removal of Pb without the addition of sulfate. The maximum Pb removal obtained was 4.53 mg/l/day with the addition of 10 mg/l sulfates with an initial Pb concentration of 77.63 mg/l and a minimum of 0.45 mg/l/day with the addition of 5 mg/l sulfates. with the initial concentration of Pb 13,33 mg/l.

Abstract

The development of handicraft industrial villages is a strategic effort that is beneficial for increasing production and has broad implications for rural social, economic and physical development. This effort is carried out through a regional spatial planning model as an effort to realize the idea of the "one village one product" program. The spatial planning of the Junrejo Village area, will have an impact not only on the development of handicraft production but will broadly affect the economic development of the village, the physical environment of the village as an industrial center, and can also be directed as a village supporting tourism programs because of its strategic location on the Malang-Batu tourist route. Based on the results of the analysis, the synthesis of the spatial planning model of Junrejo Wood Craft Village, Batu City, has the opportunity to be developed better where the facilities and infrastructure for its development are relatively adequate.

Abstract

We tested the accuracy of the machining center table movement in the X-axis direction using laser interferometer-based measurements. The accuracy of the machining center table movements tested included accuracy in positioning, accuracy in angular motion, and accuracy in the straightness of motion. By using a laser interferometer to measure the accuracy of machining center motion, it is hoped that accurate results can be obtained and can be carried out in a relatively short time. The accuracy of the measurement technique with a laser interferometer depends on the stability of the wavelength of the laser beam. The stability is influenced by environmental factors, namely pressure, temperature, and humidity.

Abstract

The typical flow of thought (input, process, output, restriction, and feedback) which is generally accepted for each different subsystem, can still be relied upon as a tool in engineering design subsystems. Improvements with the addition of the feasibility study and procurement subsystems, simplify the phasing of the development process of a project. Without going through the discussion of the procurement subsystem, the development budget will swell. The quality of materials, components, equipment, and machines will not be commensurate with the price paid. The procurement stage allows ordering goods, tools, and machines without waiting for the processes from other stages to be completed. Applying the combined CADD technology, component database with software creation (menu system) that bridges it in the design process, will result in an amazing process speed, thus speeding up the idea into a reality. Application of solar cell technology, which requires quite complex calculations and is trial and error, becomes easy, fast, and accurate because this work is completely taken over by the computer

Abstract

The expansion of national and international urban markets for agriculture created turmoil in the rural economy. Agricultural areas are being pulled into the orbit of the urban economy, turning villagers into cash farmers Availability of labor-saving modern agricultural machinery resulting in reduced rural employment Changes in the dynamics of rural-urban relations contribute to the flow of people with dreams of succeeding in cities More complete An urbanization, the more certain its freedom from natural obstacles, the more the city develops as a free entity (a unit that is born), the more fatal the consequences for the region that dominates it.

Abstract

Heat transfer is the study of how heat moves or flows from a place with a high temperature to a lower temperature so that heat can move due to a "temperature difference". There are three types of heat transfer, but for heat flow through composite materials, heat transfer analysis uses conduction heat transfer analysis. The rate of heat transfer through the composite material will vary depending on several parameters such as material properties, surface area, material thickness, and other parameters. Research to find out how big the influence of heat source variations on the rate of heat transfer through the composite wall resulted in the conclusion that the heat transfer rate also increased in proportion to the increase in the heat source. However, the use of composite walls in series causes the overall heat transfer rate to decrease because it is influenced by the thickness of the material. The thicker the material, the lower the heat transfer rate.
