Abstract

The development of today's increasingly advanced technology such as the use of computers has become popular in the community, the use of computers is very important because the computer is a tool in carrying out data processing activities, so that a job can be completed properly. How the distribution of rice for the poor can work properly using this application. The purpose of the study is to assist the process of distributing rice for the poor at the Sirandorung Village Office. The system analysis stage is a very important stage because errors at this stage will result in errors in the next stage. In analyzing the system, several methods are used, among others. Based on the results of research and discussion that the results of the analysis of the implementation of the distribution of rice for poor households (Raskin) in Sirandorung Village, Rantau Utara District, Labuhanbatu Regency, the implementation is still not precise and has not been implemented properly. This is based on the analysis above and based on the results of questionnaires and interviews with researchers from the Sirandorung sub-district office. All people in the Sirandorung sub-district should be collected and provided with detailed information about the Raskin program so that there is no misunderstanding or receiving inaccurate information about Raskin.

Abstract

The use of the internet in the digital age is common with almost all information that can be accessed through web pages. The form of design of a web page is a major concern when accessing information. The design of the Japanese web page is a concern in this study which aims to analyze the differences in design with other countries ' web pages. Research using this qualitative method is done by analyzing the Python programming language in the creation of web pages. Analysis of web pages from Japan begins with data collection, then data processing, and ends with analyzing the data. The results showed that there is a tendency to differences in the Japanese character writing system, cultural differences, technology developed by the older generation, and slow adoption of new technology. So Japanese web pages tend to look different from other countries.

Abstract

This study utilizes Python for analyzing the spread pattern of COVID-19 during a pandemic. Its purpose is to identify the dynamics and influencing factors of COVID-19 spread, as well as to explore Python's data visualization capabilities for presenting clear and understandable information. The research relies on open data from governmental or related institutions. The analysis includes identifying the ten countries with the highest case counts and determining each continent's contribution to COVID-19 cases. Various visualizations like bar charts, pie charts, and maps are employed to facilitate better comprehension and decision-making. The study's findings demonstrate the effectiveness of Python in analyzing COVID-19 spread patterns, offering valuable insights for addressing the challenges associated with the pandemic. Moreover, Python proves to be a highly effective tool for visualizing data, aiding in understanding the spread patterns of COVID-19. Overall, this research showcases the relevance and usefulness of Python in both analyzing and visualizing COVID-19 data, which can greatly contribute to efforts aimed at controlling and managing the pandemic.

Abstract

In Indonesia, the economy is one of the obstacles to sustainability in the education sector. thus forming a scholarship program. In determining scholarship recipients, a selection is carried out where there are several predetermined criteria. To get the best criteria in determining scholarship recipients, it can be done by using a Decision Support System with the Analytical Hierarchy Process method where the main input is human perception. The criteria used in this study were GPA, parents' income, number of family dependents, active students, and KTP which were very influential in determining scholarships. Each criterion will be given a level of importance, which can be done by comparing one criterion with another. The problem faced is that conventional data collection processes often occur errors. The purpose of the research is to prevent errors in data collection, and the process for results for scholarship recipients is more optimal. This research was conducted at PGRI University, West Sumatra in February 2023. This web-based Decision Support System was designed using the PHP programming language and MySQL database with XAMPP as the local server. The results of this study indicate that the criteria used greatly influence the determination of scholarship acceptance.

Abstract

Diabetes is a disease that has existed for a long time. Until now, the prevalence of this disease is still quite high. Diabetes can occur in people of all ages, both children and adults. There are several factors that can increase the risk of diabetes either from genetic factors, diet, or age. In this study the authors will analyze these factors to see which factors have a strong correlation with diabetes. The analysis will be carried out using the Python programming language with the EDA (exploratory data analysis) method where the data will go through several stages starting from data collection, cleaning, to analysis. Analysis will be assisted by several libraries such as pandas, seaborn, & matplotlib. Data will be presented in tabular form and also in diagram form. In this study the author will also discuss the results of the python code. From this study it was found that things such as body weight, number of pregnancies, and the amount of glucose have a fairly high correlation with the risk of diabetes. Factors that are not natural factors can be prevented/maintained by doing a number of things such as exercising, maintaining food, etc.
