Abstract

In the 21st century, cosmetics have become one of the most important goods for society, especially for woman in a productive age. The halal certified cosmetics industry in Indonesia is also increasing every year because of highly demand from Indonesian Muslims people. As a muslim, it is a obligation to consume halal cosmetics. This study aims to analyze the effect of religiosity, subjective norms, perceived behavioral control, and product quality on purchase intentions in halal certified cosmetic products. The data collection method was done through a questionnaire. The population this study is muslim female students resided in Semarang who have purchased halal certified cosmetic products in the last 2 months. Sample gathred in this study is  106 respondents. This study uses multiple linear regression analysis techniques using the SPSS 25 application. Results of this study shows that religiosity has no effect on consumer purchase intention on halal certified cosmetic products. Subjective norms, perceived behavioral control, and product quality has effect positively on consumer purchase intention on halal certified cosmetic products.

Abstract

Demand on halal toursim is increase recently, especially in Indonesia that is in the 2nd place based on GMTI 2019. Furthermore, application of tourism also related to business management. While at the same time Indonesia itself is one of the largest Muslim country in the world, this leads more demand on the application of Islamic-based management which is the management that comprehensively practices the value of Islam that based on the al-Quran and as-Sunnah.  One of that practical aspect in Isamic-based management that can be seen  in tourism is hotel sector. This study try to explore the application of Islamic values in Islamic based management in Haz Syariah hotel, Semarang. This study is a qualitative approach, with a single instrumental case study as a method where only focus on one particular issue. The reason for choosing this method is to discussed more specifically about the evaluation of Islamic values in the practice of Islamic-based management at the Haz Syariah Hotel Semarang. The results of the study show that leadership and staff have a good understanding of the application of Islamic values in business management. These values are trust and responsibility, help, fairness, ihsan, halallan thayyiban, and deliberation. However, the values that are not included in this study is about honesty, reading and a sense of consideration.

Abstract

Industrial relations in Indonesia continues to grow with many Islamic companies. This leads to a neccessary condition to take a review through a comparison between the conventional economic system and the Islamic economic system, so hopefully others parties have perspective not only on conventional aspect but also islamic economic perspective related to Industrial Relations. This is a qualitative study with method used in this research is library research with a comparative approach. This literature research explains and compares industrial relations systems in conventional economics and in Islamic economics. The data analysis technique used is descriptive-comparative. Data can be obtained by reviewing books, scientific works in print or electronic form, and all other written material. The author tries to describe the two research objects and analyze them and then compare the results of the two objects. The results showed a fundamental difference from the conventional way of life and the Islamic way of life. The differences between them can be categorised in terms of the rights and obligations of employers and workers, determination of wages, and the role of government. The differences in both viewpoints arise due to the foundational aspect.

Abstract

Business competition faced by Bank BNI Syariah in Semarang is very tight. With the  increasing number of competitors, Bank BNI Syariah should increase loyalty level of its customers. This study aims to determine the impact of service quality and complaint handling on customer satisfaction and customer loyalty. Sample used in this research is 105 respondents, taken from customers of BNI Syariah in Semarang. Data were collected through questionnare and distributed by google form. Data that have been gathered then were processed using SPSS 23. Data analysis techniques used in this study are decriptive analysis and path analysis.The results of this study show that service quality and complaint handling have a positive and significant impact on customer satisfaction partially and simultaneously. Customer satisfaction has a positive and significant impact on customer loyalty. Based on path analysis, service quality and complaint handling do not have a direct impact on customer loyalty.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of Islamic work ethic, work discipline, and leadership style on employee performance at the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religious Central Java Province. Population in this research is employees at the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religious Central Java Province. 72 respondents are sample that are taken by using purposive random sampling techniques. Data collection method in this study uses questionnaire and processed by SPSS Statictics 23. Data are analysed by multiple linear regression analysis, goodness of fit test, and coefficient of determination. Determination coefficient shows that employee performance at the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religious Central Java Province is 87,2% affected by Islamic work ethic, work discipline, and leadership style. The rest 12,8% is explained by other variables outside this study. Then, Islamic work ethic, work discipline, and leadership style have a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religious Central Java Province either simultaneously or partially. Furthermore, among these three variables, the most dominant effect is Islamic work ethic.
