Abstract

Hypertension is one of the problems that are often found in the elderly. Hypertension is a health problem that is quite dangerous in the world, due to factors that lead to cardiovascular disease such as heart attack, heart failure, stroke and kidney disease where ischemic heart disease and stroke are the two main causes of death in the world. One of the non-pharmacological therapies that can be done by people with hypertension is relaxation techniques. Slow deep breathing exercise is a relaxation technique that is realized to function to regulate deep and slow breathing to overcome hypertension. This counseling was carried out at the Abadi 9 Gonilan Elderly Posyandu, Sukoharjo with the aim of providing information and knowledge about promotive and preventive efforts in dealing with hypertension problems and counseling was also assisted with leaflet media, as well as question and answer sessions to measure the level of knowledge of the residents. The result of this service activity was an increase in participants knowledge about hypertension and Slow Deep Breathing Exercise from the category of sufficient knowledge to the category of good knowledge.

Abstract

The community service activity aims to build the trainees' self-confidence in the use of basic English in everyday life and enhance the participants' learning enthusiasm during the English training. This service activity has been carried out at the Kasih Nusantara Orphanage for 4 (four) months. The number of training participants consisted of 30 people with educational backgrounds starting from elementary school, junior high school, and high school. In the implementation process, the English training provided is in the form of lectures, questions and answers, discussions, and simulations/practices. The results achieved are that the trainees have increased their ability and confidence in using English. In addition, the response given was positive to the materials provided by the teaching team. Therefore, this community service activity might foster a sense of concern for partners in the application of their knowledge and knowledge so that they have a positive impact on the target partners of this activity.

Abstract

This activity is motivated by the lack of numeracy skills of students. During the distance learning period, students' abilities were not honed due to less than optimal learning. Based on the results of observations at SDN 3 Nagri Tengah Purwakarta, many students in the early grades have not yet maximized their numeracy skills, especially in addition and subtraction. This service aims to develop numeracy skills for elementary students through the Jarimatika method. The method of implementing the activity includes three stages, namely planning, implementing and evaluating. The results of program implementation are (a) there is an increase in students 'numeracy skills, especially in terms of addition using the Jarimatika method with data analysis showing that before the intervention obtained a score of 30.0% then after the intervention obtained a score of 70.0%., (B) the students' ability to use Jarimatika method.

Abstract

In new normal era, PKK Imogiri Bantul were feeling the impact caused by Covid-19. PKK women used WhatsApp stories to sell and promote their wares. However, digital marketing skills and abilities are needed to survive in this new normal era. Content marketing in digital marketing through social media has an important role in increasing attractiveness to consumers. The purpose of assisting in brand creation and marketing content is expected to increase product sales and expand the market segment of PKK women. The method of implementing this service activity is offline mentoring by complying with Health protocols and online mentoring through the whatsapp group. The evaluation showed 80% participants understood about well brand.

Abstract

In this era of globalization, technology plays an important role in various fields, one of which is in the field of education. Being a teacher in this era is required to have competencies that are in accordance with learning in the 21st century. However, it cannot be denied that in reality there are still many teachers who do not know how to operate learning using digital technology, one of which is making learning media using digital technology. Learning using media will increase teacher creativity and make it easier to convey teaching material so that it can be conveyed to students appropriately and more effectively. Through educating teachers by creating a QR code worksheet using the Canva and Vocaroo applications as audio-visual learning media at Mentari Kindergarten will be one of the solutions to problems. The result of this activity is that teachers can find out how to use the Canva and Vocaroo Applications. Furthermore, by holding this training, teachers can express their ideas and creativity in making QR code worksheets, this shows that the evidence of this training activity has been carried out. The huge impact of education for teachers in making QR code worksheet learning media using the Canva and Vocaroo applications makes teachers creative and innovative. Through learning media, an attractive QR code worksheet will increase students' interest in learning.

Abstract

One of the most serious problems faced by people in Indonesia is the waste problem. Waste is an object that is often the cause of environmental pollution, especially plastik waste. In Bantar Gebang District, there are various types of waste, such as plastik waste, household waste and organic waste. Seeing this, a plastik waste recycling program was formed by children. In addition to utilizing plastik waste, this program can also increase children's creativity. The method used in this program is Research Development (RD). The target of this program is children aged 6 to 9 years. The result of this program is a pencil case that children can use to store writing utensils to make it more tidy and also reduce plastik waste in the area around the Bantar Gebang neighborhood, Bekasi City.

Abstract

This training aims to disseminate information about the meaning of student involvement in physical education activities that can be used as development instruments, especially for developing social capital, which is a provision in navigating life throughout their lives. Increasing teachers' understanding of the learning process in schools makes physical education activities a social movement with more advantages for the government and society to realize the community's social life as expected. This training was held at the Auditorium of the Graduate School, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. The result of this training is that the participants are able to design the Social Capital Integration Model program in the Guidance and Development of Physical Education and Sports in the learning process. This training is an initial step to introduce participants to how to create a program to achieve the learning objectives.

Abstract

The increasing use of the internet during the Covid-19 pandemic requires people to carry out activities from home to tackle the spread of the virus. The need for innovation in shopping for sellers to meet their daily needs in serving their customers is certainly a challenge in shopping online with various obstacles and conditions. The challenge in providing information related to the goods that will be offered by buyers, of course, requires insight into presenting a product in the form of a catalog that will be loaded digitally. The product catalog is in the form of product explanations in the form of attractive images and text. Seeing the possibility of an increase in digital shopping habits, the presence or absence of Covid-19 certainly impacts the changing patterns of people's lifestyles in shopping online. Thus, the method of community service itself is carried out by preparing people in Purwakarta Regency who want to offer their products online in the form of catalog-making training, the implementation is carried out on the UPI campus in Purwakarta, and evaluation is the achievement of the training conducted by the workshop organizers. Thus, the expected results are very satisfying for the participants in terms of adding knowledge and insight, benefits and improvements in making catalog designs.
