Jurnal Gramatika: Jurnal Penelitian Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia (2442-8485) & (2460-6316), well-known as GRAMATIKA, is an international forum for original research focused on identities as local contexts, like an identity in linguistics, identity in literature, and identity in language education in global and local contexts, especially in Indonesia. These may include but are not limited to various fields, such as we are interested in interdisciplinary studies examining how issues of linguistics, literature, and education in language influence individual and community identities. In order to publish in GRAMATIKA, a study must have an overview of previous research or theoretical concepts that are packaged to justify the novelty/uniqueness of this study and central focus on local, foreign, minority, heritage, or indigenous languages (or non-standard dialects) and their intersection with either identity and/or education in language, linguistics and literature. We welcome a variety of topics, theoretical orientations, and methodological approaches (both qualitative and quantitative). Jurnal Gramatika: Jurnal Penelitian Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia published by Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia Universitas PGRI Sumatera Barat, in collaboration with Asosiasi Dosen Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia (ADOBSI) and Perkumpulan Pengelola Jurnal Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia serta Pengajarannya (PPJB-SIP). Issues are published biannual (April and October) in English since 2020. Submissions are open year-around. However, before submitting, please ensure that the manuscript within Jurnal Gramatika: Jurnal Penelitian Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia is written in English or Bahasa Indonesia and follows our focus and scope and author guidelines. Jurnal Gramatika: Jurnal Penelitian Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia has been accredited by the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education, the Republic of Indonesia in 2018 (SINTA 3). Now, Jurnal Gramatika: Jurnal Penelitian Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia has been accredited SINTA 2 (2020) by the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education, the Republic of Indonesia started from Volume 6 Number 1 (2020). The last accreditation is valid until 2025.

Abstract

The reseach aims to describe the effectiveness of cooperative integrated reading and composition strategy in writing argumentation composition learning to class X students at SMAN Bua Ponrang. The reseach is  experiment research which employs true experiment design. Thesubject of the research were class X students at SMAN 1 Bua Ponrang of academic years o2016/2017 with the total of 245 students. The sample of the research were taken by using randomtechnique and class X4 was chosen as the experiment class and class X6 was chosen as the controclass. The data obtained were analysed by using descriptive and inferensial statistics analysis witt-test. The result of the research reveal that there is significant difference between writingargumentation composition learning using CIRC strategy and writing argumentation compositionlearning without using CIRC strategy, and abilities and writing argumentation composition betweethe group which was given the treatment is effective to be used as a strategy in writingargumentation composition learning to class X SMAN 1 Bua Ponrang. The effectiveness of writing argumentation composition is showed by t-test in initial an final test of the experiment and controlthe experiment group wich obtained t count 5.159 with db 31 and p score 0.000. The p score ismaller that the significant level 5% which stated that learning is effective. The control class theinitial and final test obtained it count 5.697 with db 31 and p score 0.000. The p score is smallethat significant level 5%. Which stated that learning in the experiment class is effective.

Abstract

 Abstrak This research is motivated by several things, among others: writing is one form of work that is often written by students. the resulting work must be in accordance with good grammar. Basically, it is often encountered in student performance, not in accordance with the correct grammar. The developed sentence has not seen cohesion and coherence between paragraphs. Cohesion and Correction are needed in writing so that the meaning conveyed by the author is understood by the reader. The cohesion and the korehensi of a sentence are inseparable from the use of non-language words like conjuncers. The purpose of this research is to describe the type of conjunctor in student paper FKIP UMMY Solok. The type of this research is qualitative research using descriptive method, with the following steps (1) reading data in the form of student papers, (2) providing encoding by circling and giving special code such as giving data number, (3) reporting all data which has been encoded, (4) language data according to the function of each conjunctor, (6) make concise recommendations and. Based on data analysis, the total number of conjunctors used in student papers is 104 data. From the data it can be concluded that the students have not varied in using conjunctor. They use conjunctors for, because in PPD courses that are associated with participants who not only include the concepts, but also the benefits of each material contained in the paper. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh beberapa hal antara lain: karya tulis ilmiah merupakan salah satu bentuk karya yang sering ditulis mahasiswa. Karya yang dihasilkan haruslah sesuai dengan kaedah tata Bahasa yang baik. Pada kenyataannya, sering ditemui dalam penulisan tugas mahasiswa, tidak sesuai dengan tata bahasa yang benar. Kalimat yang dikembangkan belum memperlihatkan kohesi dan koherensi antar paragraf. Padahal kohesi dan korensi sangat dibutuhkan dalam menulis agar makna yang disampaikan oleh penulis dalam dipahami oleh pembaca. Kohesi dan korehensi sebuah kalimat tidak terlepas dari pemanfaatan unsur-unsur bahasa seperti konjungtor. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan jenis konjungtor dalam makalah mahasiswa FKIP UMMY Solok. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif, dengan langkah-langkah sebagai berikut (1) membaca data yang berupa makalah mahasiswa, (2) memberi pengkodean dengan cara melingkari dan memberikan kode khusus seperti memberikan nomor data, (3) mencatat semua data yang telah diberi pengkodean, (4) membahasa data sesuai dengan fungsi masing-masing konjungtor, (6) membuat kesimpulan dan saran. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, secara keseluruhan jumlah konjungtor yang digunakan dalam makalah mahasiswa sebanyak 104 data. Dari data tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa belum bervariasinya mahasiswa dalam menggunakan konjungtor. Mereka cenderung menggunakan konjungtor untuk, karena pada mata kuliah PPD yang berhubungan dengan peserta didik sehingga makalahnya tersebut tidak saja berisi konsep-konsep, tetapi juga manfaat dari masing-masing materi yang dijelaskan dalam makalah tersebut. Keywords: Konjungtor, Makalah, UMMY SOLOK

Abstract

The purpose of this study describes the history, structural analysis, and the value of character education of the legend of Masinan Kijang Ngrayudan Ngawi, East Java. Data collection through interviews, documentation, and observation. Data analysis technique used qualitative analysis of inductive model with purposive sampling technique. Based on the research results found that the Legend of the Former Deer consists of figures Raden Patah or Kiai Ageng Gagar and Putri Sendang Kaputren. There is a disappointment of love that claps one hand between the two. Until finally Putri Sendang Kaputren pregnant and displaced in a forest. After her birth, her baby is suckled by a deer when the Princess is looking for food for her baby. Found six elemental structures and four character values. Analysis of the structure that is 1) theme: sacrifice, 2) plot: forward, 3) character and characterization: Kiai Ageng Gagar (dashing and hard), Putri Sendang Kaputren (good and patient), Putri's father Sendang Kaputren (firm, hard, (4) setting: Ngrayudan Village, Gagar Village, Telaga Sarangan, and Ngrayudan Forest in the afternoon and evening with a sad and gripping atmosphere, 5) point of view: third person all-knowing , 6) message: not selfish and always keep nature and its contents. The four character values are the value of religius, independent characters, responsibility, and hard work. Tujuan penelitian ini mendeskripsikan sejarah, analisis struktural, dan nilai pendidikan karakter legenda Masinan Kijang Ngrayudan Ngawi, Jawa Timur. Pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, dokumentasi, dan observasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis kualitatif model induktif dengan teknik purposive sampling. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa legenda Masinan Kijang terdiri atas tokoh Raden Patah atau Kiai Ageng Gagar dan Putri Sendang Kaputren. Terdapat kekecewaan cinta yang bertepuk sebelah tangan di antara keduanya. Hingga akhirnya Putri Sendang Kaputren hamil dan mengungsi di sebuah hutan. Setelah kelahirannya, bayinya disusui oleh kijang saat Sang Putri mencari makanan untuk bayinya. Ditemukan enam struktur unsur dan empat nilai karakter. Analisis struktur tersebut yakni 1) tema: pengorbanan, 2) alur: maju, 3) tokoh dan penokohan:  Kiai Ageng Gagar (gagah dan keras), Putri Sendang Kaputren (baik dan sabar), Ayahanda Putri Sendang Kaputren (tegas, keras, dan berwibawa), dan  seekor kijang (baik hati dan suka menolong), 4) latar: Desa Ngrayudan, Dusun Gagar, Telaga Sarangan, dan hutan Ngrayudan pada petang dan malam hari dengan suasana sedih dan mencekam, 5) sudut pandang: orang ketiga serba tahu, 6) amanat: tidak egois dan selalu menjaga alam beserta isinya. Keempat nilai karakter tersebut yakni nilai karakter religius, mandiri, tanggung jawab, dan kerja keras.

Abstract

This article aims to describe the effort of the public reading for the society as a increase reading interest at public reading Karang Putih di Kelurahan Batu Gadang Padang, described the obstacles faced by the public reading in the use of public reading as learning resources and describe the efforts made by public reading in the utilization of public reading as increase reading interest. The data collected through observation, interviews, and video recordings. Analysis of data by a descriptive. Based on the result of research it was concluded things are follows as. First, the utilization of public reading for the Karang Putih in the Batu gadang of Padang, the availability of a collection, location, promotional, educational activities, cooperation, and the skill of librarian. Second, obstacles faced by public reading which was hard to get a varied collection of children’s book, the promotion of public reading only with the scope of a small lack of volunteers or the teachers, lack of officers. Third, the efforts made by the public reading in the utilization of public reading as a source of learning that is, buy books out of the area and take advantage of a network of bookstores or publishers, the public reading of building networks in the community, bringing volunteers or teachers, and have training of officers.

Abstract

Language acquisition is one of the interesting things to study. The language acquisition of each child cannot be equated with each other even though they are in the same period of development. This study aims to describe the phonemes that are spoken by children who are in the period of early lingual development (ages 1- 2.5 years). The method used in this study is a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The data in this study are derived from the speech of two children who are in the period of early lingual development. Data was collected by recording children's expressions and taking notes in a note. Based on the results of data analysis and discussion it is known that children in the period of early lingual development have been able to pronounce the phonemes of language. All vowel phonemes [a], [i], [u], [e], [o] have been pronounced well. While the consonant phonemes are pronounced only phonemes [b], [c], [d], [h], [j], [k], [l], [m], [n], [p], [s] , [t], [w], [ŋ], and [ň]. Some of the phonemes spoken by these children have been pronounced well and some are still not right. The sequence of acquisition of these phonemes has followed the sequence of universally applicable phonological acquisition. Every child gets different sounds even though they are in the same period of development.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low level of studentsskills in listening to short stories.This can be seen in the value of listening to students who are under the minimumcompleteness criteria (75).This is due to the lack of interest and motivation of studentsin listening to short stories, learning models applied by teachers that are less precise,and the classroom atmosphere that is less supportive of the achievement of listening learning objectives. This type of research is Classroom Action Research. This researchmethod is qualitative and quantitative methods. The purpose of this study was toincrease the activity and student learning outcomes in learning to listen to short storiesby applying theQuantum Teaching model in class XI IPS 1 of SMA Negeri 2 Rambah.The results of this study were (1) improving the quality of student activity from cycle I by46%, cycle II by 62%, cycle III by 76%, and cycle IV by 96%, there was an increase instudent activity in listening to short stories to be very high quality, and (2) thecompleteness of learning outcomes from the first cycle is 41.38% with an average valueof 73.06, the second cycle is 55.17% with an average value of 78.65, the third cycle is72, 41%with an average value average of 82.07, and cycle IV of 100% with an averagevalue of 87.10. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the applicationof the Quantum Teaching model in learning to listen to short stories can increase theactivity and learning outcomes of class XI IPS 1 SMA Negeri 2 Rambah Hilir.

Abstract

The objective of this research was to to search the identity of the main character in And the Mountains Echoed novel by Khaled Hosseini. This study uses a psychoanalytic approach with content analysis methods. Data collection techniques using documentary techniques in the novel And the Mountains Echoed by Khaled Hosseini. Data analysis techniques with the following steps: data collection, data reduction, data presentation with interpretation, and conclusions. The results showed that the process of finding the main character of the main character Pari in the And the Mountains Echoed novel consisted of the following seven stages: 1) Trust vs. Mistrust: Hope begins at birth-18 months with an example of independence and self-confidence from the family; 2) Autonomy vs. Shame, Doubt: Will starts from 18 months to 3 years in the form of independence and simplicity taught by the family; 3) Initiative vs. Guilt: Purpose starts at 3-6 years of age in the form of learning strength from separation from family and learning to take initiative; 4) Industry vs. Inferiority: Competence starts from 6-12 years in the form of talent development facilitated by his adoptive family and independent learning; 5) Identity vs. Role Confusion: Fidelity starts from 12-18 years in the form of an understanding of its strengths in Mathematics, its lack of attitude; 6) Intimacy vs. Isolation: Love starts from 18-40 years in the form of understanding and accepting the presence of the wife; and 7) Generativity vs. Self-Absorption, Stagnation: CareI begins at the age of 40-65 years in the form of a struggle to educate children, struggle against disease, and struggle to obtain the youngest professor's degree. Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of Riau folklore in the development of children's language behavior in TK Pembina Negeri of Rokan Hulu Regency, Riau Province. The results of the study show that Riau folklore is very important to be applied, one of which is to preserve regional culture to the younger generation. In addition, Riau folklore can help develop children's language behavior. Children who are classified as active tend to respond verbally while children who are classified as passive tend to give nonverbal responses. Stimulus can also be given to children, which can be in the form of singing, praise, and reward. Children's language behavior can develop well because it uses various methods or techniques in the application of folklore, including using audio-visual media, image media, and hand puppets.
