Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of integrated chemistry practice implementation on student learning outcomes. This research is a quasi-experimental and unbalanced control experiment design. The population for this research was students in class X for the academic year 2020/2021, totaling 165 students divided into six classes of 24-29 students each. A random sample of 58 pupils from the population was drawn and divided into two classes using a random sampling procedure. The test is included into the data collection procedure utilized in this investigation. Analyze the prerequisites using the normality and homogeneity tests. The descriptive statistical analysis and t-test were utilized to analyze the data for the one-party Separated variant model. The outcomes of the analysis are given a significance level of 5%. The findings reveal that, students who complete comprehensive exercises using integrated practicum approaches achieve higher basic chemistry learning values when compared to students who complete cooperative learning in chemistry (control classes). Integrated practice learning approaches, as demonstrated here, have a significant influence on the educational accomplishment of students at SMK PGRI 3 Malang.

Abstract

Kelakai (Stenochlaena palustris (Burm F) Bedd) is a fern plant found in swampy or wetlands. This study aims to determine the effect of adding kelakai extract to the production process of wet noodles on the physicochemical properties of elasticity, water absorption, and moisture content, as well as the organoleptic properties of aroma, color, and texture, in order to determine the optimal formula for kelakai extract in making wet noodles. This study was designed using a completely randomized design (CRD), which consisted of 4 treatments, namely F0 (0%), F1 (60%), F2 (80%), and F3 (100%). The data were analyzed using the Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) statistical test with a confidence level of α = 0,05. If there is a significant difference between the treatments, then continued with the Duncan Multiply Range Test (DMRT) to test the Physico-Chemical properties, and the Kruskal-Wallis statistical test with a confidence level of α = 0,05 for the organoleptic test. If there is a significant difference between the treatments, then proceed with the Mann-Whitney follow-up test using SPSS 25. The results showed that wet noodles with the addition of kelakai extract had a significant effect on elasticity and water absorption where the more extracts, the higher the elasticity and water absorption. Besides, it also having a significant effect on water content, where the more extracts, the lower the water content. The results of the research on the preference level test or organoleptic data showed no significant effect on the panelists' preference for color, aroma and texture. In general, the F2 treatment is the most ideal formulation.

Abstract

Research on the application of fruit waste liquid organic fertilizer to the growth of pakcoy plants (Brassica rapa L.) has been carried out. The purpose of this study was to determine the growth response of the pakcoy plant (Brassica rapa L.) to the application of liquid organic fertilizer from fruit waste at various concentrations hydroponically and to determine the best concentration of liquid organic fertilizer for the research results. The design of this study used CRD (Completely Randomized Design) with experimental data collection methods. This research was conducted with one control treatment, 5 treatments and 4 replications namely D0 (100% AB mix), D1 (25%), D2 (40%), D3 (55%), D4 (70%) and D5 (85%). Data were analyzed statistically through ANOVA test and followed by 5% DMRT test. Based on the research results obtained, the application of liquid organic fertilizer from fruit waste had a significant effect on the growth response of pakcoy plants (Brassica rapa L.). This can be seen in the best treatment found in treatment D5 (85%), as evidenced by the highest average result of fruit waste liquid organic fertilizer at plant height: 22.075 cm, number of leaves: 20.25 leaves and fresh weight: 41. 25 gr/plant. Thus, the use of fruit waste as a POC affects the effectiveness of pakcoy growth.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the growth and yield of sweet corn based on the concentration of phytohormones sprayed day and night. As well as to find out which concentration of phytohormones gives the best effect on the parameters of plant height, number of leaves, age of flowering, fruit weight, and number of fruit. This study used a two-factor completely randomized design (CRD). The first factor of phytohormone concentrations consisted of T0 = 0 ml/L, T1 = 6 ml/L, T2 = 8 ml/L, T3 = 10 ml/L, T4 = 12 ml/L with 3 repetitions and 27 experimental units. The subject of this research is phytohormone and the object of this research is sweet corn of bonanza F1 variety. Collecting data in this study is by direct observation and documentation. Data were analyzed by ANOVA (Analysis of Variance) followed by the DMRT test if there was an effect. Based on the results of the DMRT test, treatment T4 = 12 ml/L had an effect on plant height and fruit weight with values of 195.4 cm and 162 grams, respectively. Treatment T3 = 10 ml/L had an effect on the number of leaves with a value of 18.7 and treatment T1 = 6 ml/L had an effect on the age of flowering with a value of 46.2 HST. The best phytohormone administration is produced from the administration of phytohormone which is sprayed during the day.

Abstract

The production of alternative feeds as a substitute for commercial feeds is expected to reduce the cost of farmers, with fermentation techniques to improve feed nutrition so that it is better and more durable by utilizing rice bran. This study aims to find out the right dose of feed and find out the effect of feeding on the growth of koi fish seeds. The methods used are experimental and observation techniques. Data analysis techniques use SPSS. The results of the study on fish weight produced normally distributed data, homogeneous and there was also a real difference, namely in the treatment A, B, C and K can be seen the best treatment, namely in B (100% fermented rice bran feed). While the results of the study on the length of the fish produced normally distributed data, homogeneous and there was an influence, there was also a real difference, namely the best treatment, namely in B (100% fermented rice bran feed) with the best dose of 0.08gr. Based on the statement above, the fermentation of rice bran affects the growth of koi fish seed cultivation.
