It is important to detect stroke to prevent the condition from getting worse, but sometimes the elderly often ignore the signs of stroke related to the condition they are experiencing. This study aims to determine the influence of the balance eyes face arms speech time (BEFAST) detection method on the risk of stroke in the elderly in Suwalan Village, Jenu District. Method. The research design used in this research is Quantitative True- experimental using the Post Test Only Control Design research method. The population in this study were elderly people who had actively attended posyandu in the last 3 months, totaling 83 elderly people who were selected using a cluster random sampling technique. There were 21 elderly people at posyandu post 1, 21 elderly people at posyandu post 2 and 28 elderly people at posyandu post 3 as samples. The instrument used in this research is an observation sheet consisting of 6 statements. Results and Analysis The results of the research carried out were analyzed using the Man Whitney test with a significance level of α=<0.05. The result obtained is that the sig value. (2-tailed) of 0.001 is proven to reduce the risk of stroke in the elderly, it can be concluded that the hypothesis is accepted the difference between the results of the risk of stroke in the elderly in Suwalan Village, Jenu District in the experimental and control groups. Discussion. Providing the balance eyes face arms speech time (BEFAST) detection method influences the risk of stroke in the elderly. This is influenced by several factors, namely increasing age and hypertension, because as you get older the risk of having a stroke also increases. Hypertension sufferers are more susceptible to stroke, because hypertension accelerates the occurrence of osteochlorosis which can cause weakness in blood vessel walls so that they become brittle and break easily.

This research was conducted at Abdurrahman Syamsuri Paciran Lamongan Hospital. The research instrument uses a questionnaire sheet. This research was tested statistically using the Spearman rank (Rho) test. Result&Analysis. Based on the results of research using the Spearman statistical test with a significant level of a = 0.05, the result was p = 0.000, where the value of p < 0.05 can be concluded that H1 is accepted, which means there is a significant relationship between the quality of nursing interpersonal communication in nursing care and the level of patient satisfaction. hospitalized at Abdurrahman Syamsuri Paciran Lamongan Hospital. Discussion. This research was used as information for hospitals to maintain and improve the quality of nursing services provided to the community so that patient satisfaction is higher.

Abstract

Introduction. Toddlers with a low Body Mass Index or poor nutrition tend to experience motor delays due to a lack of energy and muscle mass needed for physical activity. On the other hand, toddlers with a high Body Mass Index or obesity often face obstacles in moving due to excessive body weight, which can reduce balance, agility and physical endurance. The aim of this research was to determine the relationship between body mass index and gross motor development in Tegalrejo Village, Merakurak. Methods. This research used a correlational analytical method with a cross sectional approach with a population of 206 toddlers aged 2-5 years. The sampling method used simple random sampling technique to obtain a sample of 136 toddler respondents aged 2-5 years. The instruments used were a stature meter, scales and a Denver II observation sheet using the Spearman's rho correlation test. Results&Analysis. The results of the research carried out after being analyzed using the Spearman's rho test with a significance level of α = < 0.05 obtained a value of ρ = 0.000 < 0.05, so H1 was accepted. Based on the results of this data analysis, it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between body mass index and gross motor development in toddlers aged (2-5 years) in Tegalrejo Village, Merakurak. Conclusion. There is a relationship between body mass index and gross motor development in Tegalrejo Merakurak Village. Abstract

Introduction. Cerumen (earwax) can clump and harden to form a cerumen blockage or cerumen prop. This hardening of earwax occurs slowly and over a long period of time, so we often don't realize it. Lumps of earwax (cerumen prop) are only discovered after they cause a disturbing impact in the form of disturbances or complaints to our sense of hearing. Method. This type of research is pre-experimental research using a one group pre-post test design. The population in this study was 54 children with a sample of 48 children under five using simple random sampling. The independent variable in this study is health education based on animated cartoon videos. And the dependent variable is prevention of prop cerumen as a risk of conductive deafness. The instruments in this research were a module outreach program unit and a prop cerumen prevention questionnaire. Result & Analysis. The research results obtained through the Wilcoxon test were p-value 0.000 < -0.05, it can be concluded that H1 was accepted, the difference between the results of preventing prop cerumen with health education based on cartoon animated videos for the pre test and post test. Discussion. This research shows that preventing prop cerumen with health education based on cartoon animation videos has an effect on preventing prop cerumen, shown by almost all students having good knowledge after receiving the intervention compared to before the intervention.
