Abstract

In the era of global economic development, the Islamic financial system has emerged as an alternative for various groups who wish to conduct economic activities in accordance with Islamic principles. This study aims to explore how musyarakah contracts are implemented in investment partnerships between investors and businesses in the Islamic financial sector and identify the factors that influence their successful implementation. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach to understand and analyze the implementation of musyarakah contracts in profit-sharing partnerships in the Islamic financial sector. Primary data was obtained through semi-structured interviews with Islamic business actors, investors, and Islamic finance practitioners. Secondary data were obtained from relevant literature, such as scientific journals, books, and annual reports of Islamic financial institutions. The results show that musyarakah contracts based on the principles of profit sharing and risk sharing provide benefits for both parties. Investors can actively participate in business management with better transparency, while business actors get additional capital to support business expansion. The implementation of musyarakah contracts has shown positive developments in the Islamic financial sector, especially in Indonesia, where regulations and policies have supported the development of sharia-based businesses. However, there are still challenges related to investors' and businesses' understanding of the agreement mechanism, as well as the need for strict supervision to ensure compliance with sharia principles. This research is expected to contribute to the further development of musyarakah contracts in the Islamic finance sector and strengthen the position of Islamic finance in the global market.

Abstract

Cyber terrorism uses information and communication technology to scare individuals or governments. In Indonesia, terrorism-related cyberattacks have increased by 300% in the past year, despite regulations such as the Law on the Eradication of Terrorism and the Law on Electronic Information and Transactions (UU ITE). This legal gap in handling cybercrime requires an effective reconstruction of criminal law. This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of law enforcement against cyber terrorism, identify legal gaps, and provide recommendations for necessary legal reforms. The approach used is normative law, with analysis of the Law on Eradication of Terrorism and ITE Law, as well as case studies to explore challenges in law enforcement. It was found that there are normative gaps in the existing regulations. While the ITE Law and Terrorism Eradication Law provide a legal framework, they do not clearly define cyber terrorism or provide sufficiently strict sanctions. There is a need for regulatory reform to cover aspects of cybercrime. Proposed reforms include a clear definition of cyber terrorism, increased sanctions, and the application of technology in law enforcement. International cooperation and public awareness are also important to create a safe environment. To improve law enforcement against cyber terrorism in Indonesia, comprehensive law reform is needed. Gaps in the ITE Law and Terrorism Eradication Law should be addressed with clear definitions and stricter sanctions, as well as through the use of technology and international cooperation

Abstract

An auction is a form of creative buying and selling transaction, where one party commits to give up ownership of goods and the other party agrees to pay the agreed price. This research aims to analyze the legal certainty and protection given to buyers of auction goods, as well as to understand how the auction mechanism can protect the rights of buyers from third party claims. This research uses a normative juridical approach, namely assessing and evaluating formal legal regulations relating to auctions. This method is carried out by analyzing positive legal norms and regulations governing the auction process in Indonesia. The results showed that legal protection for auction buyers is guaranteed through provisions in the Auction Regulations which state that goods purchased through auctions are free from third party claims. Auction buyers have absolute rights to the auction goods they buy, which can be defended from the demands of any party. Preventive legal protection is guaranteed by applicable regulations, which provide legal evidence in the form of auction minutes as the basis for the transfer of ownership rights. This is important to reduce legal risks and ensure fairness in auction transactions. Legal certainty for auction buyers is essential to ensure that the goods purchased are protected from third-party claims

Abstract

Early Clinical Exposure (ECE) is a teaching-learning methodology that involves exposing medical students to patients or clinical scenarios early in the first year of medical education. In this study, the focus is on fifth-semester students, particularly on the integration of basic knowledge with clinical knowledge of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (DMT2), the role of multidisciplinary teams, and interprofessional collaboration. The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of early clinical exposure in integrating basic knowledge with clinical knowledge of DMT2 and knowledge of interprofessional collaboration among medical students at Universitas Prima Indonesia. The method used in this research is a quantitative approach with an experimental design, specifically quasi-experimental research. In this design, 124 fifth-semester medical students from Universitas Prima Indonesia will be given a pretest before participating in Early Clinical Exposure (ECE) and a posttest after completing Early Clinical Exposure (ECE). The results of this study indicate a significant difference in the integration of basic knowledge with clinical knowledge of DMT2 and knowledge of interprofessional collaboration among medical students at Universitas Prima Indonesia, with a p-value of 0.000 (p < 0.05). Therefore, it can be concluded that Early Clinical Exposure (ECE) is effective in improving the integration of basic knowledge with clinical knowledge of DMT2 and knowledge of interprofessional collaboration among medical students at Universitas Prima Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of liquidity, leverage, profitability, and operating cash flow on the possibility of financial distress at PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk during the period of 2014-2023. Using multiple linear regression methods, this research processes financial data obtained from annual financial statements. The analysis results indicate that liquidity and leverage have a significant negative effect on the likelihood of financial distress, while profitability shows a significant positive effect. Operating cash flow does not demonstrate significant influence within this model. The research model has a fairly good explanatory capacity, with an adjusted R-squared of 63.73%. These findings suggest that effective working capital management and strategic use of debt can reduce the risk of financial distress; however, aggressive growth strategies reflected in high profitability increase that risk. This research provides insights into the financial dynamics within Indonesia's construction industry and can assist in formulating more effective risk management strategies.
