Abstract

Social media provides facilities for citizens to exchange information, upload photos, videos and their daily activities. The activity of sharing personal information is too often referred to as oversharing. Psychological oversharing is a human need for attention and social support. But indirectly, this activity actually endangers the uploader. This study will discuss two problems, namely 1) the context of privacy and protection of personal data and its vulnerabilities and 2) digital literacy for the citizen community to overcome oversharing behavior. The concept of privacy basically provides an option for everyone to sort out private and public spaces for themselves. Personal data is transformed into public data when the owner shares the personal data in cyberspace. Digital literacy is needed to protect netizens from threats in cyberspace such as cyberbullying, intimidation, and even direct crimes such as robbery due to the behavior of netizens who show off their wealth on social media. Digital literacy will increase the social intelligence of netizens to determine what can and should be uploaded on social media. Key words: digital literacy, oversharing, social media.

Abstract

The existence of upakara plants in Bali is increasingly rare. This happens because of the increasingly massive implementation of the ceremony and the community is less concerned about its preservation. On that basis, it is very urgent to plant upakara plants in Bali because in addition to supplying the need for ceremony materials, it is also a form of environmental preservation or conservation of rare plants. This work describes how the scarcity of these plants is along with the efforts to be made to overcome them. One effort that can be done is by replanting and then inspiring everyone to realize that planting upakara plants both in the yard and in the form of a gumi banten garden is very important. Bali will look beautiful if this upakara plant is planted in every yard because it also acts as an ornamental plant. I Gusti Bagus Sugriwa's Doctoral Program at UHN, through community service, seeks to inspire the youth at the Gandhi Puri Ashram about the importance of this upakara plant and directly plant upakara plants at the Ashram location. Through this program, it is hoped that the land in the Gandhi Puri Ashram will be overgrown with various types of upakara plants and the awareness of the residents to actively plant upakara plants and inspire others to actively contribute to preserving the rarer upakara plants.

Abstract

Balinese language, script, and literature are important knowledge that must be mastered by Balinese people, and Balinese ancestors have also inherited thousands of Lontar manuscripts that should be known because they are full of noble values. However, with abundant of literary heritages, only a few people have the interest and ability to write, read, or study the contents of the Lontar. Efforts are needed from an early age, in order to prepare regeneration that is able to maintain and develop the knowledge stored in the Lontar manuscripts. Based on the above background, the dedication of the Department of Religious Language and Literature Education in the 2021 fiscal year will be carried out at the Lontar Dukuh Penaban Museum, Dukuh Penaban Customary Village, Karangasem Sub-district, Karangasem Regency. The method implemented in relation to the Balinese Literacy Writing and Reading Training in Lontar Media at the Lontar Dukuh Penaban Museum, Dukuh Penaban Customary Village, Karangasem Sub-district, Karangasem Regency is a training method. At the beginning, the service team gave an explanation in advance about "Pasang Aksara Bali". With this initial explanation, it is hoped that an initial mapping can be made regarding the ability to write Balinese script for the service participants. Activities are not immediately directed to the writing of Lontar, because before the stage of writing in the Lontar, of course, the service participants must first understand the rules for writing Balinese script, which are called "Pasang Aksara Bali". The activity of writing Balinese script on lontar media only started at the 4th meeting, which began with an introduction to the tools used in writing lontar. The tools that need to be prepared include: Pangrupak, Blangko Lontar, rubber/Panyepit, Lungka-Lungka, and candlenut that has been burned. After the writing tools have been distributed, it is continued with a presentation on how to hold the Pangrupak correctly and how to form the letters in the Lontar.

Abstract

The Hindu Theology Study Program carries out community service in the Yehembang Kangin Traditional Village, Mendoyo District, Jembrana Regency in 2021 with the theme "Training for Leadership and Understanding of Hindu Religion". The theme is adjusted to the needs of the community in the field of Kepemangkuan, the conception of tattwa, acara agama, padewasan, and Sanskrit in puja mantras to answer the challenges of religious life. This community service uses training methods by demonstrating procedures for using Genta and reciting puja mantras, as well as community education through lectures and discussions. In general, the implementation of community service received a good response from the community and was smooth. Obstacles such as the distance between the service locations and the schedule of activities that conflict with the traditional agenda can be overcome through good cooperation from all parties. During community service, it was found that the enthusiasm of the community to understand the teachings of Hinduism was very high. Especially the Pemangku who need explanations related to practices and sesana to comply with the rules of literature. The lack of literature and discussion opportunities becomes an obstacle in the public knowledge abou Hindu religious teachings. The community needs guidance related to Hindu religious teachings to prepare themselves to become a moderate society inĀ  a pluralistic environment.
