Abstract

COVID-19 has spread and has become a pandemic in almost all of the world, including in Indonesia. In Indonesia, this virus was first announced on March 2, 2020, until March 14 to 27, 2020, a total of 77,261 cases were identified. In an effort to stop the spread of COVID-19, the Indonesian government has made several policies that are expected to suppress the spread of this virus. Cluster analysis is a technical class, used to classify objects or cases into relatively homogeneous (same) groups called clusters. The type of data used is secondary data on COVID-19 in districts/cities of West Sumatra Province obtained from the West Sumatra Provincial Health Office and the COVID-19 task force website, where the data obtained is cumulative data from March 2020 to July 14, 2021. Optimization the number of K clusters using the elbow method to produce K=3, the results of the K-means cluster analysis with the number of K=3 concluded that the distance of members in the cluster is low and the distance between clusters is large

Abstract

The  limitation  of  kamang  cracker  businessmenin  marketing  their  products  is  the main factor  that  makes  businessmenunable  to maximizethe  profits  of  theirproduction.    To  maximize profits, a method is needed to predict the number of kamang crackers that must be produced based on the  profits  obtained. In this  case,  regression  analysis  with  classical  method  can  be  used  wherethe value of x0 can be predicted based on the dependent variable y0. The purpose of this study is to create a  model  and  determine  the  prediction  interval  from  forecasting the  numberofkamang  cracker production based on the profit obtained from the production. The data used are primary data obtained from 25 business houses inKecamatanKamang Magek .  From the prediction results obtained, it can be interpretationthe number of kamangcrackers that must be produced

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic became an epidemic throughout the country at the end of 2019 until now. The impact is not only on the health sector but also on the employment sector in Indonesia, one of which is West Sumatra. The perceived impacts include unemployment, temporary absence from work and a reducing working hours. This impact makes the economy of the community decline. The purpose of this research is to see how the districts/cities in the province of West Sumatra are mapped/grouped based on the number of working age residents affected by COVID-19 using multidimensional scaling analysis. So later it can be used as a reference for the government in the future. From the results of the mapping, three groups were formed. The largest number of working age residents affected by COVID-19 was Padang City, followed by Agam districts. With a stress value of 0.25% and R2 of 0,999 it shows that the multidimensional scaling analysis map obtained is acceptable.

Abstract

Face  recognition  is  a  biometric  technology  that  is  widely  used  in  the  era  of  the  industrial revolution 4.0 such as smart home, security and presence. In the application of face recognition, a method is needed that can perform facial recognition quickly andwith a high level of accuracy. This study aims to determine  the  level  of  accuracy  and  computation  time  of  the  Haar  Cascade  Classifier  Algorithm  and Convolutional Neural Network in Face Recognition with the mechine learning method. Determining the level ofaccuracy is done by calculating the amount of facial data that can be recognized from the overall face  data.  Calculating  the  computational  time  is  done  by  calculating  the  time  required  during  the  facial recognition  process  by  the  computational  process.  The  process  of  determining  the  level  and  time  of computing  is  carried  out  by  the  python  computing  program  using  the  numpy  and  tensorflow  libraries. Based  on  the  analysis  carried  out  by  the  face  detection  process  using  the  Haar  Cascade  Algorithm  and Convolutional  Neural  Network,  the  program  accuracy  is 98.84% and  the  average  time  needed  to recognize faces is 0.05s

Abstract

Unit-linked Endowment life insurance is a Endowment life insurance that combines the benefits of insurance and investment. In determining the unit-linked Endowment life insurance premium, it is necessary to have a minimum guarantee value to overcome the risk of loss for the policyholder. The method that can be used is the Annual Ratchet method and the Black Scholes Model. The data used in this study is the daily closing stock data of PT. Astra Internasional and Bank Indonesia interest rates in January 2020. Life probability data is based on the 2019 Mortality Table. The results obtained in this study are single premium net Endowment unit-linked life insurance using the Annual Ratchet  method and the Black Scholes model. Based on the case study, it is concluded that the premium for unit-linked dual-purpose life insurance with the Black-Scholes model is greater than the premium for the annual ratchet method.

Abstract

TEMASEK is a company from Singapore. Based on research initiated by TEMASEKand Google  in  2015,internet  users  in  Indonesia  reached  92  million.  18  million  of  them  are  e-commerce connoisseurs and it is predicted that by 2025 there will be 119 million onIineshoppers in Indonesia. This increase will push the e-commerce market value to reach 81billionin 2025. This has resulted in many  e-commerce  popping  up  in  Indonesia,  the  top  two  being  Tokopedia  and  Shopee.  Therefore, managers are required to determine what strategies will hook consumers. Game theory is used to find the optimaIstrategy  for each pIayer.The  purpose  of study  is to find the optimaIvaIue  of the  game.This   study   uses   5   marketing   strategies,   namely   promotion/advertising,   completeness,   service, payment, and price. The population in this study is Mathematics Students from January to June 2021, the  sample  of  this  research  is  Mathematics  students  at  Padang  State  University  who  have  used Tokopedia  and  Shopee.There  are  two  methods  of  solving,  namely  using  a  pure  strategy  or  a  mixed strategy.In  this  case,  the  settlement  uses  a  pure  strategy  and  theoptimaI  vaIue  of  the  game  is  0,04 where Tokopedia comes out as the winner with a maximum profit that will be obtained which is 4% if using  a  price  strategy,  while  Shopee  will  minimize  losses  with  its  strategy,  namely  a  more  diverse payment strategy

Abstract

Abstract- Investment is one aspect that is in the spotlight of investors during the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic. Investing cannot be separated from the words return and risk, to optimize the rate of return and minimize risk, a portfolio of Stochastic Dominance models can be formed. This study aims to form an optimal portfolio of the LQ-45 Index during the Covid-19 pandemic by applying the stochastic dominance model as well as measuring the optimal portfolio performance formed by three measurement methods, namely the Jensen Index, Treynor Index, and the Jensen Index. Based on the analysis conducted on 10 stocks, the LQ-45 Index produces 9 dominant stocks. The nine stocks and their proportions are INCO 17.587%, ERAA 14.286%, INKP 14.286%, SCMA 14.285%, TBIG 14.286%, ANTM 14.286%, PTPP 3.571%, TKIM 3.571%, and WIKA 3.571%. The expected return and risk generated by the portfolio formed are 0.1267134 and 0.00762, respectively. Performance measurement with the Sharpe Index, Treynor Index, and Jensen Index both produce positive performance, in other words the formed portfolio has a good performance.

Abstract

Inventory control and planning is one of the important things to carry out production activities. To get optimal inventory control, it can be done by using lot sizing technique with Eqonomic Order Quantity and Period Order Quantity methods. The purpose of this article is to minimize inventory costs by comparing the Eqonomic Order Quantity and Period Order Quantity-based lot sizing methods based on Material Requirement Planning to obtain minimal inventory costs at the Bacarito Kopi Padang coffee shop. The Bacarito Kopi Padang coffee shop is one of the SME coffee shops that still controls inventory using conventional methods that have not yielded maximum results. This research is an applied research and the data used are data on ordering costs, storage costs, large requests and the company's Total Inventory Cost. The total value of Total Inventory Cost (TIC) which is the minimum optimal is 23,3% for coffee type raw material, 13,5% for full cream milk raw material, 31,5% for syrup type raw material and 49.1% for raw material type sweetened condensed milk by 26,2%.

Abstract

The rapid development of Information Technology today brings ease of work in variousfields, such as mathematics. Complex calculations can be completed easily and quickly just by using acalculator.  Calculations  can  also  be  done  using  an  application  program,  where  the  application  isdeveloped  using  a  programming  language.  Of  the  many  programming  languages  that  exist  today,including Java and VisualBasic. This research is a basic research where in this study an analysis of the programming language with matrix multiplication problems is carried out.The purpose oft his research is to see which programming language is better based on predetermined criteria. The research methodused  is  by  analyzing  the  algorithms  of  the  two  programming  languages  with  matrix  multiplicationproblems  based  on  relevant  sources.  The  results  showed  that  the  Visual Basic  is  better  than  the  Java based on these criteria.

Abstract

Abstract-Drugs are compounds that can affect the brain's functioning system. To slow the spread of drug users, which continues to rise, holistic treatment is used. The goal of this study was to determine the form of the SITRS mathematical model of drug user distribution by treatment and to interpret the results of the analysis of the SITRS mathematical model on drug user distribution by treatment. This is a fundamental or theoretical study. The human population is divided into four population groups in the development of a mathematical model: susceptible, infected, treatment, and removed. According to the model analysis, there are one equilibrium point free of drug users and one endemic equilibrium point with treatment for drug users. The stability analysis of the system resulted in a basic reproduction ratio of 0,1751824818 for the equilibrium point free and 4,61528461 for the endemic equilibrium point. Stability using eigenvalue criteria. The results obtained by each individual who becomes a drug user when receiving treatment on a regular basis can help to reduce the spread of drug users.
