Abstract

Research on the seven subsidiaries of State Owned Enterprises aims to obtain empirical evidence on enterprise risk management and compliance to corporate performance on audit reporting. The results that enterprise risk management is not significant influence on corporate performance. But compliance has a significant impact on corporate performance. The influence of enterprise risk management and compliance to company performance simultaneously having a more significant contribution than just relying on mere compliance. The impact of this research on internal audit theory that the corporation should include aspects of the risk management as has been adopted in the COSO 2004.Keywords: Enterprise risk management, Compliance, Corporate performance

Abstract

Manipulation of accounting (earnings management) that occurs causes the collapse of the giant corporations of the world in the early 2000s and has hurt the company's stakeholders. Manipulation of accounting also occurs in companies listed on the Jakarta Stock Exchange. The occurrence of accounting manipulation makes accounting experts to focus on internal control problems because of internal control is an important issue that affects earnings management through a substance that can be provided by an internal control. Based on such consideration, the researcher is interested in doing research that aims to determine the correlation of internal control on earnings management. Research done by the manufacturing survey at 48 listed companies in Jakarta Stock Exchange drawn at random in a population of 150 firms. The data used in this study is the primary data for the internal control variable and secondary data for earnings management variable. Data were analyzed using Product Moment. The results showed that the internal control was significantly negatively related to earnings management.Keywords: Internal control, Earnings management

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship among Leadership, Organizational culture, the operation of Learning organization and Employee's job satisfaction. The result obtained from 224 respondents which are selected using purposive sampling and analyzing using Structural Equation Modeling from AMOS. This research indicate that the various operation extents of Learning organization have significant difference under the dimensions of Leadership, Organizational culture and the operation of Learning organization. Leadership has significantly and positively influence Learning organization, Organizational culture is not signifantly effect on Leadership, both Leadership and Learning organization have a significantly positive effect on Employee's job satisfaction. One more finding is Organizational culture is not significantly has an effect to employee's job satisfaction.Keywords: Leadership, Organizational culture, Learning organization, Job satisfaction

Abstract

Energy crisis that attacking violently the earth already pushing efforts increased for benefiting energy that not sources from fossil. Result of physic, chemical, biologic, social and economic analysis got conclusion that Jatropha have better property than others. Research using descriptive method and supported by survey method. Spatial, physic, chemical and biologic analysis done in Bandung District. Objects of research are environmental physic condition in Bandung District, farmers who doing Jatropha seeding and cultivation and cooperative management who supporting activity of Jatropha seeding and cultivation. Research conclusions are : (1) Bandung District have locations where feasible cultivated Jatropha (2) Social and economic condition of farmers communities in locations of Jatropha seeding and cultivation are low and poor. (3) Cost and benefit component of work activity of Jatropha seeding and cultivation from field not enough giving information for feasibility study of finance on effort scale that bigger and more profitable. Next research about financial feasibility study of Jatropha seeding and cultivation must be done so that can be known scale of work that accurate linked with cost benefit components and can be refferenced by stakeholders in Jatropha seeding and cultivation.Keywords : Crisis of energy, Vegetables energy sources, Jatropha seeding and cultivation, Suitability locations, Social and economic condition of farmers, Cost and benefit components, Feasibility study

Abstract

By conducting research on the quality of the courage of the writers and all who read this research will increasingly aware that quality of courage these elements can be built, so it is not just a personality, but also the behavior of an individual student or professional workers and entrepreneurs even public officials in the territory of the Republic of Indonesia this is characteristic of togetherness or "solid " . Related journals and a bold attitude to the role of women, defect or disability is currently difficult to find, so I see that building a bold stance was not only important but extremely important , amid the extent of the "battle " between nations to establish itself, the community and nation, not only physically, builds its course , but also to the soul as a whole . Its meaning will also be increasingly important if the aim is right on target and heading into a future full of optimism and spirit of cooperation in all fields. Martha Tilaar is one example of courageous leaders , who dare oppose not only because she was a woman , but also the middle of the day in which very little number of entrepreneurs and entrepreneurial women like him.Keywords: Qualities of courage, Personality, Behavior, Handicapped or disability, Entrepreneur
