Abstract

ABSTRAK Penentuan nilai LC50 dari ekstrak metanol daun liwas menggunakan metode Brine Shrimp Lethality Test (BSLT) terhadap hewan indikator udang Artemia salina menunjukkan nilai LC50 dari  A. salina bersifat sangat toksik.Nilai LC50 yang didapatkan sebesar 15,696 mg/L. Nilai LC50 ditentukan dengan menggunakan metode SPSS 20.0.Ekstrak metanol daun liwas mengandung kandungan senyawa metabolit sekunder seperti flavonoid, tanin dan saponin sebagai hasil uji fitokimia. Kata kunci: BSLT, Daun Liwas, Metabolit Sekunder,LC50.   PHYTOCHEMICAL ANALYSIS AND DETERMINING LC50 VALUE OF LIWAS LEAVE METHANOL EXTRACT ABSTRACT Determination of LC50 of methanol extract of leaves liwas using Brine Shrimp Lethality Test (BSLT) against animal indicator shrimp Artemia salina showed LC50 values of  A. salina is highly toxic. LC50 values were obtained at 15.696 mg / L. LC50 values determined using SPSS 20.0. Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan kandungan total fenolik dan aktivitas antioksidan ekstrak etanol dan n-heksana dari daun Artemisia vulgaris L. Total fenolik diukur menggunakan metode Follin-Ciocalteau dengan asam galat sebagai larutan standar. Aktivitas antioksidan diukur berdasarkan analisis kadar peroksida dan malonaldehida (MDA) dari minyak ikan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ekstrak etanol memiliki kandungan total fenolik sebesar 81.22 mg/kg dan ekstrak n-heksana sebesar 20.10 mg/kg. Kemampuan penghambatan peroksida maupun MDA oleh ekstrak etanol lebih tinggi daripada ekstrak n-heksana. Sebagai pembanding, α-tokoferol memiliki aktivitas penghambatan peroksida dan MDA lebih tinggi daripada ekstrak n-heksana, tetapi lebih rendah daripada ekstrak etanol. Kata kunci :Artemisia vulgaris L., antioksidan, fenolik, peroksida, malonaldehida   ANTIOXIDANT ACTIVITY OF THE ETHANOL AND n-HEXANE EXTRACTS OF LEAVES OF GRASS SANTA MARIA (Artemisia vulgaris L.) IN FISH OIL ABSTRACT The purpose of the study was to determine the total phenolic content and antioxidant activity of the ethanol and n-hexane extracts of leaves of Artemisia vulgaris L. Total phenolic was determined using Follin-Ciocalteau method with gallic acid as a standard solution. The antioxidant activity was measured based on the analysis of the levels of peroxide and malonaldehida (MDA) in fish oil. The results showed that the ethanol extract had a total phenolic content of 81.224 mg/kg and n-hexane extracts of 20.101 mg/kg. The ability of peroxide and MDA inhibition by ethanol extract was higher than that by n-hexane extract. For comparison, α-tocopherol has higher inhibitory activity on peroxide and MDA than n-hexane extracts, but lower than ethanol extract. Abstract

ABSTRAK Ikan tongkol (Auxis rochei), perlu dikelola dengan baik karena walaupun sebagai sumberdaya alam terbarukan, namun dapat mengalami deplesi ataupun kepunahan. Salah satu pendekatan dalam pengelolaan sumberdaya ikan ialah dengan pemodelan. Analisis dilakukan bertujuan untuk mendapatkan model terbaik untuk model produksi surplus guna mengetahui tangkapan maksimum lestari (MSY), tingkat pemanfaatan, dan pengupayaan ikan tongkol. Data hasil tangkapan dan upaya tangkap ikan tongkol dikumpulkan dari Dinas Kelautan dan Perikanan Kabupaten Siau-Tagulandang-Biaro dan Dinas Kelautan dan Perikanan Provinsi Sulawesi Utara Sulawesi. Model Produksi Surplus terbaik, yang digunakan untuk menilai potensi ikan tongkol ialah model Schaefer. Upaya optimal (EMSY)sebesar 5436 trip per tahun. Hasil tangkapan optimal CMSY sebesar 1040,94 ton per tahun. Tingkat pemanfaatan untuk tahun 2013 ialah 103,80 %, dengan tingkat pengusahaan sebesar 110,56 %, yang menunjukkan terjadi tangkap-lebih (overfishing). Kata Kunci : Ikan  tongkol, Model Produksi Surplus,Tangkapan Maksimum Lestari, Siau-Tagulandang-Biaro DETERMINATION OF THE STATUS OF UTILIZATION AND MANAGEMENT SCENARIOS BONITO (Auxis rochei) CAUGHT IN THE SIAU-TAGULANDANG-BIARO REGENCY NORTH SULAWESI ABSTRACT Bonito (Auxis rochei), needs to be  managed well as a renewable natural resources, but vunerable to depletion or extinction. One approach in fish resource management is by modeling. Analysis were carried out, aimed to get the best model for surplus production model, to assess the Maximum Sustainable Yield (MSY), and to get the bonito utilization and effort level. Data used for surplus production model were collected from bonito landings data provided by Marine and Fisheries Service (Dinas Kelautan dan Perikanan) of  Siau-Tagulandang-Biaro Regency and North Sulawesi Province. The best Surplus Production Model that can be used to assess the bonito potential yield is the Schaefer model. The optimum effort biologically EMSY is 5,436 trips per year. The optimum yield biologically CMSY is 1,040.94 tons per year. Utilization level for 2013 was103.80 %, with effort level 110.56 %. Abstract

ABSTRAK Pendidikan memiliki peranan yang sangat penting bagi setiap individu mulai dari usia dini sampai usia lanjut. Jenjang pendidikan terdiri dari jenjang pendidikan dasar, menengah dan tinggi. Penelitian ini membahas posisi relatif kabupaten/kota di Provinsi Jawa Barat terhadap nilai UN dan akreditasi sekolah menengah atas dan penggerombolan sekolah di Provinsi Jawa Barat. Hasil analisis biplot menghasilkan tujuh kelompok sekolah. Kelompok pertama berada di rata-rata nilai UN dan akreditasi. Kelompok kedua cenderung rendah pada nilai UN dan akreditasi. Kelompok ketiga rendah pada nilai UN. Kelompok empat tinggi pada nilai akreditasi. Kelompok lima tinggi pada nilai UN. Kelompok enam cenderung tinggi pada nilai UN eksak. Kelompok tujuh rendah pada nilai UN dan akreditasi. Kata kunci: Nilai UN, Akreditasi, Biplot   MAPPING SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL IN WEST JAVA BASED NATIONAL EXAMINATION VALUE AND SCHOOL ACCREDITATION ABSTRACT Education has important role for individuals from childhood to the elderly. Educational levels consists primary education, secondary education and higher education. This study discussed the relative position of the districts in West Java Province throughout the national examination and high school accreditationas as well school clustering in West Java Province. Result of biplot analysis generated seven groups, first group were in the average national examination and accreditation. Second group were inclined low in national examination and also accreditation. The third group has a low national examination scores. The fourth group had a high score on the value of accreditation. Fifth group had a high value on national examination scores. The sixth group had inclined high national examination scores especially in science subjects.
